"Do you think really I'm insane?" I asked.
Carlotta stared up at the clothes she was knitting and sighed.
"No,you are perfectly sane Kiara."
That was even more insulting. She hac said it with little effort to hide her lie. I think I would rather if she said I was running mad.
"Why?"
"Why do I think you are sane?"
"I heard the sarcasm loud and clear. Adriel sent extra men to the foundation,my father is down there right now,discussing with the army of witches he sent for my protection.Dont you think that proves something?"
"Like what?"
I choked on my words and shrugged. "Like he cares more than I give credit"
Carlotta didn't bother to reply to this.She kept on knitting.I watched her concentration paired with the almost careless swiftness in her hands.
"I always wished to be like you."I muttered taking my seat.
Carlotta glanced up at me with a perplexed look.
"Why so?"
