"I'm not here to fix you."
The word ringed in my mind over and over. I lingered in every inch, not allowing me to think rationally. She wasn't playing hard to get it, yet she held her ground firmly,refusing anything less than what she deserved.
It was…admirable. She knew what she wanted and made it clear that she would accept nothing else from me.
And I, on the other hand, wasn't even sure I knew what I wanted. At first, it was my freedom from hell; it was clear as day and written in concrete in my mind. Now, it was more like a long-thought-out memory scribbled on clay.
