Chapter 14 - Judgement: Arc 2, Chapter 3 - Arrival

Michael and Roy would be sitting in the rest area, with Michael reading a book he had, and Roy sitting in a chair, continuing to read the magazine he was reading earlier. Joseph was on the ground, covered with what looked to be a sheet of ice packs, recovering from Lena's revenge from his "showcase" earlier that week. Michael put a bookmark into his book, set it down, and stood up, saying, "We should be fairly close, so, I'm gonna go prepare to dock. If you don't mind, Roy, can you go to the helm." Roy put his magazine down, and stood up, asking, "So, what're you thinking is gonna happen once we get there?" Michael replies, "I hope nothing goes wrong, and we can just do whatever we came here to do, but with our recent luck, I'd say there's gonna be at least a little trouble.

Lena would be walking up the stairs, and says, "So, are we finally getting off this boat?" Joseph threw the ice packs off him, and backed to the wall, saying, "Begone, foul beast!" Lena raised a eyebrow, and said, "You can't milk that injury forever. You weren't that hurt." Joseph pouted, saying, "What if I'm traumatized from that? What if I got like... some weird debilitating sickness from that? I bet you never thought about that, did you!" Lena replies, saying, sarcastically, "Sure. I bet all of that happened." Roy says, "Alright, cut it out. Didn't you have a question, Lena?" Lena says, "Yeah, are we gonna go or not?"

Michael says, "Yes, we are. Now that everyone's here, and conscious, how about we go about getting off of here?" Joseph replies, "Finally. I've had enough naval experience for now, I'd just like to get back on some solid ground." Roy laughs, saying, "Not a big fan of the water, are you?" Joseph sighs, before saying, "I'm not a big fan of my freedom getting limited, especially by some people in particular." Lena joins in, telling Joseph, "I'd hate to imagine the fate of the world if you did have freedom. A terrifying thought, that's for sure." Joseph replies, "Looks like that those people are still hating on me, truly heartbreaking." As Joseph and Lena continued to trade insults, Roy and Michael left the room to prepare to dock.

Eventually, as Lena and Joseph tired themselves out of arguing, they went onto the deck to help to dock, and eventually, was able to actually stop. As they all took a breather, they gazed upon the island they had found themselves on. The port was quite developed, with many merchant ships sailing around it. Fog coated the area, as large buildings lined the sky, lying just beyond the port, and some vehicles sped by on the road next to the coast. On the beach nearby to the port, there weren't many people, and a couple empty umbrellas, lacking people to protect the sun from. In fact, the entire area seemed devoid of meaningful life, and those who were there seemed to be workers or were in a hurry.

Joseph says, "You know, you'd really expect more people in a place like this, especially from what we've heard." Michael just shrugged, before saying, "Alright, let's get this over with, so we can finally get a break. Lena, would you mind getting the weapons?" Lena nodded, before going off to grab a crate with the weapons they were bringing in it. Roy says, "I wouldn't doubt it being more empty. Apparently, there's been a uprising by one of the members of the royal family here, and they went from a constitutional monarchy to a full monarchy. From what I've read in the magazines, he's not a good guy either. They say, if you look at him wrong, he'll cut you down right there."

Michael says, "How interesting. I hope that we'll be able to complete our mission without anything like that happening. Everyone here fine with staying low for a bit?" Joseph and Roy both would agree. Lena then came back with the crate, and says, "So, where's this place at, anyways?" Michael replies, "It should be down the road, on the beach, at least according to what I discerned from the briefing." They would start walking down the street, to the location where the package was supposed to be dropped off. As they were walking down the road, they heard sounds of yelling and fighting. Lena looked over across the street, into the city itself, and saw three men assaulting someone in the alleyway. She could hear one of the men say, "Sorry man, it's just the King's demands!" before bursting into laughter. Lena put the crate down, before walking into the alley. Roy says, "Lena, what are you doing?

Lena walks over to the men, and would say, "Alright, why are you all beating this poor guy." One of the men responded, saying, "Why the hell should I tell you? Scram, girlie." Lena replies, "So, I have to speak in a language you people understand." She then grabbed the man's head, and slammed him into the ground, with a lightning strike hitting at the same time, creating a crater. Another one of the men says, "You'll pay for that, you asshole! We work for the King, you hear!" Lena grabbed the man, and threw him in the air, before firing a thunderbolt at him from her fingertips. The last man tried running away, but Lena would say, "Electric Magic: Energy Grid." From seemingly nowhere, several rods of bright electricity appeared and stabbed through the man, like twenty knives piercing through someone's body.

Michael and Joseph immediately followed into the alley, with Michael saying, "What are you doing! You might attract unwanted attention! We don't want to get in more fights." Lena turned, saying, "I'm sorry... I had to protect him! They were robbing him!" Joseph says, "It's fine, we just gotta get out of here before anything happens." However, they would hear a voice from the end of the alleyway, "Before what happens?" Lena froze, as she slowly turned around, trembling. She spoke, stuttering, "How could you be here?" A woman walked out from the end of the alley, a woman with long black hair, that went below her shoulders, a black cloak, that seemed to have kevlar woven into it, and white combat-oriented pants. The woman would speak, smugly, "It's so rude not to visit your family, especially after being gone for so long, sister."
