Lena gasped, before saying, "E-Emilia, the hell are you doing here?" Emilia laughed, saying, "Lena, I believe you to not be fool enough, that you'd forget everything about these last five years. I knew you were stupid, but even this is a new low!" Lena responds, "Then I assume that you're still doing the work of our brother, aren't you?" Emilia says, "Of course I am! Last time I checked, he currently controls this country, and you're an exile. Who's going to give me what I rightfully deserve?" Lena angrily replied, saying, "You're willing to sacrifice your morals for that?" Emilia scoffed, saying, "Of course I would! The only way to make use of magic at this time is violence! But, you'd know best, seeing who you've joined up with. Lena yelled, saying, "Don't associate us with you! We came here to deliver a package, not to kill!" Emilia smugly said, "Oh, so you've gone from princess to errand girl! What an upgrade!" Lena calmed down, before saying, "Put your words where your mouth is, Emilia. We'll see who comes up short." Emilia laughed, before saying, "Well, if that's what you're into."
Lena raised her fist, seemingly coated with electricity, and threw a punch down the alleyway, creating a giant gash into the alley, that ripped through the walls. Emilia replies, "How rude! I'd think that you would have more manners, especially after all of this time." However, Lena seemingly disappeared, and as Emilia looked around, she saw Lena quickly descending from above, lightning trailing from her hands. Lena slammed her hands into Emilia, creating a crater in the ground. But, as the smoke cleared, Emilia was not there. Instead, she was right at the top of the crater. Bishop would say, "If that hit me, I would've been in big trouble~ Aw, don't worry, you still have next time!" Emilia smirked.
Emilia and Lena exchanged a flurry of blows, each landing small punches on each other, but never enough to stagger one of them. Lena stood back, and threw a lightning-fast punch at Emilia. Emilia weaved through the punch, sidestepping to the left, before kicking Lena's feet out from under her. As Lena fell to the ground, Emilia created lightning bolts into her hands, and started launching them at Lena like javelins. They sank into the ground, exploding on impact. Emilia threw about a dozen, before stopping. Lena was on the ground, seemingly knocked out. Emilia says, "How amazing. Three years, and it still feels like fighting a weaker, smaller, noticeably less powerful version of me." Suddenly, Lena pushed herself up, doing a handstand and kicking Emilia in the face with her military-standard boots, before flipping over, and throwing a powerful left hook in Emilia's face, launching her into the wall, and breaking into the building beside it.
As Lena stood there, recovering from her attack, Emilia got up from the rubble. The office workers beside her started to run away, clearly afraid. Emilia stumbled out of the building back into the alleyway, bleeding from a cut across her face. She quickly regained her posture, and said, "I guess you can teach an old dog some new tricks. Suddenly, a burst of flame shot from Emilia's hand at Lena, threatening to engulf her. Emilia yelled, "Unfortunately, I have to put that old dog down!" Lena slammed the ground with her hand, causing an ice wall to shoot up, blocking the flame. Lena readied herself as suddenly, the ice wall shattered, with Emilia's fist breaking through, alight with fire. Lena quickly created an ice casing around her hand, and met Emilia's punch in the air. As their fists collided, it created a mist, lowering the visibility. As Lena looked around, trying to get her bearings after the attack, she felt her lungs deflate, as Emilia launched her knee into her stomach. As Lena grasped her stomach, trying to recover, Emilia responded by creating electric tendrils from her fingertips, and, wielding them like whips, would slash them all across Lena's body, creating deep gashes in her shoulders. Emilia yelled, "Is that all you have? That's just too bad, then!"
Suddenly, Emilia stopped, as she looked down at her body. She saw a sword sticking out of her stomach. Michael says, "You're too focused on torture, to ever win a fight." Michael pulled out his sword, and slashed it across Emilia's back, making a deep gash in her body. As Emilia staggered away, she'd laugh. She would raise her hand up, and snapped her fingers. As soon as she did that, her hand lit with flames. She moved the flame across her wounds, immediately sealing them up. "Just because I'm not some kind of comic hero like you all, doesn't make me a monster. I take great offense to that, actually." As Emilia turned around to continue to attack Lena, and stuck her hand out to ready an attack, her hand was suddenly pierced by a giant blade.
Her eyes widened, and as she looked up, she knew that a new threat had appeared. The blade was a two-sided blade, and atop the side facing the air, was a man, balancing himself on it. The man had spiked, red hair, that went down to his neck. He had a large smirk on his face. Some kind of red scarf, or ribbon, was wrapped around his neck, flowing in the wind. The ribbon had a black insignia on it, clearly foreign to the area. He had a red leather jacket on, with a black compression shirt under it. He had black khaki pants, with a belt on, and maroon boots. The man says, "Sorry for the intervention, but I'm bored, and want to do something fun." Emilia gasped, before looking at the insignia, and saying, "So, you're the Axe i've been hearing about." Axe smiled, saying, "Good name, right?" Bishop replied, "Indeed. In fact, I believe it might look even better on a gravestone." Emilia slinged her alight arm at Axe, blowing flames all over him. Axe jumped in the air, pulling his sword out and holding it by the blade, before slamming it down at her, slashing her chest. She tried to seal the wounds back up, but the flames did nothing to dam the flood of blood.
Emilia coated her fist with a thunderous amount of electricity, before launching a punch at Axe. The fist landed, with white lighting and smoke pouring out of the alley. As Emilia readied herself in the air to attack again, She was suddenly slammed down by Axe's sword. "Damned fools!" Emilia yelled as she rocketed back down to earth. She stabilized herself on the ground, and forcefully shoved her arm up, shooting a lightning bolt from it. As it was about to make contact with Axe, he slammed his sword against the bolt, making it completely dissipate. Emilia would say, dumbfounded, "How the hell…?" Emilia shook her head, trying to stay in the fight. She jumped off of the wall and dove at Axe, who was on the ground. As Axe moved to slam his blade down again, she jumped over him, and slammed her hands on to him, causing a thunderous explosion. As the smoke cleared, Axe wiped dirt and blood off of his face, with there being a large bruise on his shoulder.
Axe says, "You're not half bad!" Emilia replies, "Thank you for the complement! However, by the end of this fight, you might be in half as well." Roy tried to slash at Emilia again, but she would grab it, stopping it. Axe says, "This blade is only for my hands! Go get your own!" He pulled his sword back, lifting Emilia, before slamming it into the wall with extreme speed, launching her through the next two buildings. Emilia tried to get back up, as the rubble from two building's worth of walls was around her, when suddenly, she saw Axe running down the hole he made, like a madman. As Roy helped prop up Lena, Michael looked down the hole and asked, "What the hell is this guy?"
As he was running, Axe threw his sword at her like a javelin. She felt her cheek get cut open and quickly realized that if she was one inch to the right, she'd be dead. As Axe was nearing her, she threw back the sword, which he caught. But, as he caught it, she began to cup her hands around her mouth, making a small opening. Flames, which had sparks of electricity bursting from them, flowed around her hands. She said, "Sorry about this, but I don't want to die today!" As Axe tilted his head, confused, she suddenly blew, causing an eruption of flames and lightning to flow from her hand, almost like a dragon breathing fire. The rubble and anything else that wasn't Axe within the hole was incinerated, with Axe barely able to stop the blaze. As the flames slowly dissipated, Axe saw no one standing in front of him, and he himself was covered with ash. Axe would say, standing in a pile of melted metal and stone. "Just as it was getting good!" He'd throw his sword at the ground, with it stabbing into the molten floor, as he started to put out the flames on his clothes.
Joseph and Michael walked down the hole, seeing Axe standing there, seemingly deep in thought. They stood there for a few moments, before Michael said, "So… pretty good work you did there. Why did you help us out?" Axe turned around, and said, "Me? I was bored, simple. But, now that I think about it, I think I remember something that I was supposed to do…" They stood there in silence, once again. Joseph opened his mouth, as if he were about to say something, but would be quickly interrupted by Axe saying, "I got it! You're all supposed to be transporting something, right?" Joseph nodded his head, confused, and said, "Yeah, how do you know that?" Axe continued, "See, I actually know who you're trying to give these to. I'm friends with them, you know. That's the same person who actually asked me to go out today and told me to look for some army people, which I assume is you all." Michael asked, "You… know a weapons manufacturer?" Axe scoffed, like the idea that he didn't know them was crazy, "Of course I do. Besides, that girl you all were with got beaten up pretty badly by that crazy chick, and I'm sure she can be fixed up there. Plus, you all gotta go there anyway. So, why not come with me?" Michael and Joseph looked at each other, before turning back to Axe, with Michael telling Axe, "Alright. We can come with you." Axe exclaimed, "Alright!" As they started to walk back to Roy and Lena, Joseph asked Axe, "So… your name's Axe?"
Axe responded, "The one and only."
