The next morning, I made my way to the kitchen, eager to whip up something for breakfast. Our new room was upstairs, and my beautiful pup was still asleep, giving me the perfect chance to rustle up a meal.
I walked into the kitchen, and saw Felicia already busy wiping up a meal. The aroma of spices filled the air, making my stomach growl in anticipation.
"Hey, Felicia," I greeted her, walking over to where she was working. "Need any help?"
Felicia looked up, a smile lighting up her face. "Oh, hey Luna," she replied. "No, I've got it. You don't have to worry about it."
"I insist," I said, rolling up my sleeves. "Let me help you. It's the least I can do, come on."
Felicia hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Alright, if you insist," she said, her smile widening. "You can start by chopping up those vegetables over there."
I grabbed a knife and cutting board, joining Felicia at the counter.
