Taffi paced through the hallway enraged, the servants who were in his way fled at his sight, because all it'd take was one word from him and they'd all drop dead.
As he descended the stairs, each sound his foot made was audible enough to make one think that the building might collapse, and as soon as he got down, he headed for the throneroom where he had left his mother after their conversation earlier.
Pushing the door open, Taffi saw no one but maids cleaning up some items in the room, and guards in their respective position. Fear gripped them when they saw him walk in, but they couldn't walk away either because he asked,
"Where is my mother?"
Wit her voice breaking in fear, the maid closest to him stuttered,
"At the dining room, my Lord."
Taffi turned around immediately without saying a word, he headed for the dining room, and in no time he met his mother and Tehila having breakfast, alongside his sister Ariel, and brother O'Neil.
"This is not how you walk into a dining room, Taffi," Lila uttered, she saw the furry in her son's expression but neglected it.
However, Taffi wasn't there for fun and games, he walked up to Tehila and grabbed her arm. Lifting her, he yelled,
"This is the last time I want to see you in this Castle!" He dragged her out as if trying to take her out of the dining room.
Tehila screamed in pain as his nail hurt her skin, this was the first time that Taffi ever touched her angrily, he usually just scolded or yelled.
"What is wrong with you!" Lala stood up immediately and so did O'Neil, they tried to approach him, but Taffi shot a deadly stare at them causing them to halt.
"If her presence matters to you so much, then you can as well pack your things and leave because she's no longer welcome here!" He yelled and tossed Tehila to the side like a bag.
As for Ariel, she stirred her tea slowly and watched the drama unfold before her, she already knew that in no time, he brother's inner demon would be awakened and she'd rather not interfere.
"Taffi, breath...
"Mother, do not!" He interjected, his perfectly white eyes slowly turning red, and when he looked at the lady he tossed to the side, she nearly screamed in fear.
"Get out!" He yelled, the vibration in his tone made her wonder if there was a demon within him that needed to be exorcised.
Both his mother and brother were speechless in the current situation, In his state, anyone who goes near him has death wishes because even the air around him could choke a person to death.
Ariel picked up a cup of water from the table and stood on her feet. She majestically walks towards Taffi.
"Stay away from me Ariel, I don't want to hurt you!" Taffi warned her.
"Just one day that she was happy with me, you wicked people...
"You crowned her behind our backs, she deserves to know the truth!" Lila interjected, despite her son's state she couldn't resist the urge to refute any statement relating to Sania.
"So that's what you told her?" Taffi exclaimed and turned to face Tehila again. The young lady who was already shivering in fear closed her eyes and covered her head with her hand to to avoid looking at him.
While his back was turned, Ariel walked up to him quickly and poured every drop of water from the cup on his body.
"Ariel! " Taffi faced her in anger, but she stared at him with a smile and said,
"Sometimes you forget you are a King and rely on your inner demon to do what you already have the power to do, hopefully, one day, you don't embarrass yourself before the entire Kingdom."
Taffi's eyes returned to its white color, and every last drop of water on his body evaporated as the steam rose from his body.
"I've lost my appetite," Ariel concluded and walked out of the dining room without turning back.
"Water?" O'Neil uttered,
"That's your weakness? Pathetic." He walked out of the dining room as well leaving Taffi alone with his mother and Tehila.
Lila stared at her son for a moment and then walked past him to help Tehila get off the floor. The young lady was still terrified by what she saw, and could barely stand to her feet.
"If I see her anywhere near Sania, even in the same vicinity, I wouldn't hesitate to end her life, Mark my words, Mother, I can't let this continue," Taffi said without turning around to face them, he was somewhat embarrassed by what happened, but there was a sense of fulfillment in Tehila's fright.
"Maybe do what is right Taffi, and all this madness will cease," Lila concluded and led Tehila out of the dining room, no one else was going to have breakfast.
Taffi sighed heavily, once again he let this slide and it annoyed him. He was more delighted that Sania wasn't there to witness what Tehila did, else gaining her love would be a million times more difficult than it was already.
He say down on one of the dining chairs, placed his elbow on his lap and his head faced down. He wanted freedom from himself, to lift the curse and live like everyone else.
While he was lost in thought, a servant walked into the room, she was one of the chefs whom he instructed to cook specially for Sania and she took a bow before him from away and said,
"My Lord, Mistress Sania has rejected her breakfast." She waited for his response as it was against the law to leave if the King hadn't asked you to no matter how long it took.
"Serve me breakfast in my room, she'll eat with me," he instructed and stood up to leave.
"It shall be done, my Lord," said the maid, as she waited for Taffi to leave before she did.
