Sania froze for a second, a shiver went down her spine as she tried to figure out whether or not this was a dream because if she remembered correctly, Taffi couldn't have been awake yet.
She lifted her head to his face and saw his eyes open, staring down at her while his strong hand still held gently unto her wrist. He smiled when their eyes met and tried to sit up, but didn't anticipate Sania's next move.
As soon as he was seated, Sania threw herself at him and wrapped her hand around his body, with tears in the corner of her eyes. She couldn't start questioning why he woke up so early. The good thing was that he was already awake and fine.
"You are awake," she uttered, her voice breaking due to the tears that had clouded her eyes.
Knowing what his young wife must have gone through since he passed out, Taffi hugged back and rubbed her back gently like a child,
"I'm alright." He said.
