There lived a girl called Rosesnow, who had always dreamed of being an artist. But she didn't have the best childhood, and she draws to help her cope. Her father wants her to marry him when he is already married, and she wears men's clothes on top of women's clothes so her father can stop attacking her.
Her father has tortured and treated her awfully. Rosesnow had met her father's real wife and brothers-in-law. They had helped her to get away from the tortured room and allowed her to recover. Rosesnow's siblings and mother. They are apprehensive and terrified of her father. They do not help her, and Rosesnow has a horse.
But her father sold the horse, and Rosesnow was allowed to stay with the neighbours as they were furious for her. One day, she was outside of her family's house and was drawing a picture. When a man walked over to her and saw what she was drawing. Rosesnow looked up and did not want to hide the picture as the man asked. "Can I have a look at that picture?"
Rosesnow nodded and handed the picture to him. The picture blew away, and the man and Rosesnow's mother strolled out of the house. Rosesnow kept her head down and did not make eye contact with her. Rosesnow's mother recognized the man and spoke: "Hello Gaston, how are you, and what brings you here?"
Rosesnow looked at her, and her mother said. "Rosesnow, this is Gaston, an artist and an artist-teacher. Gaston, this is Rosesnow, and she loves to draw and explore while drawing." Gaston could tell that Rosesnow had something in her and announced it to Rosesnow and her mother.
"Why don't you come to my house, and I can teach you everything you need to know to be an artist? You are allowed to come back here when you want to and to contact your family if you want to." Rosesnow thought about it and replied. "I will be happy to come to your house to learn how to be an artist and to get away from here, as I don't want to spend another night in this house."
"Even though my mother would object, when will I get another chance to learn how to be an artist like this again." Gaston knows that Rosesnow's father does not care about his wife and does not listen to anyone. Rosesnow's mother knew Rosesnow wanted to escape her father and didn't argue. Gaston took Rosenow to his house and gave her a bedroom and a study.
Gaston introduces Rosesnow to his family and the servants. Rosesnow becomes friends with Gaston's daughters and tells them what is going on and why she is wearing men's clothes on top of women's. Gaston's daughters are called Jane and Mary. They could not believe what Rosesnow had to go through and put up with. Rosesnow enjoyed her time with Gaston and his family.
Gaston helped Rosesnow draw buildings, flowers, and animals. Jane and Mary gave Rosesnow new clothes to wear. Rosesnow's father has no clue where She is and still thinks she is at his house. Gaston's wife is called Isabell and has welcomed Rosesnow into the family. Isabell treated Rosesnow as a daughter and listened to Her. Rosesnow stayed with Gaston and his family for four years.
The king ordered Gaston to come to court and bring someone with him so his family could visit them. Gaston sat down with Isabell, Mary, Jane, Rosesnow, and his sons. They called Tom, Edward, and Henry. Tom, Edward, and Henry treated Rosesnow like a sister and understood why she was wearing men's clothes on top of women's.
They taught her how to bow with a hat on and without a hat. Rosesnow perfused to wear a hat on so no one would know that she was a woman, not a man and hoped that no one would ask her any questions. They looked at Gaston, and he spoke. "The King has ordered me to come to court as I can bring someone with me, and my family are allowed to see me and the person who is coming with me."
"But I want to ask you all first, and then I will decide who will come to court with me." Rosesnow knows her father won't be in court, and she hasn't been there either. Tom looked at Rosesnow and added. "Why don't we let Rosesnow go with Father and let her enjoy things more at court? Am I right that you have not been to court before?" Rosesnow was in shock and shook her head as she replied.
"No, I haven't, and I know my father won't be there. But I hope no one will tell him I am there and not at home. Because I don't want to get beaten or tortured by my father." Gaston, Isabell, Tom, Mary, Edward, Jane, and Henry were shell-shocked to hear what Rosabella had just made known. Isabell held Rosesnow's right hand, and Jane held her left hand.
They can smell Rosesnow's fear and know she doesn't want to endure what she had to endure all over again. Gaston knew Rosesnow was telling the truth and suggested, "Well, Rosesnow, why don't you come with me to court? I will ask if you can have your room so you can draw and paint." Rosesnow could not believe her luck and affirm. "Is it alright with your family that I go to court?"
Isabell, Jane, Mary, Tom, Edward, and Henry nodded as Edward acknowledged. "We have been to court before, and you deserve to go. We will ensure your father does not go to court while you are there. But there is something that you should know, and it concerned about your parents." Rosesnow looked at Edward and asked.
"What do you mean? Is there something I haven't been informed about or told about?" Isabell took a deep breath and inquired. "Your parents are not your birth parents because you were brought to your parents when you were a baby as their dead baby daughter was taken to the place that you are from."
