Today is an interesting day, I must say.
I occasionally met bandit tribes that tried to raid me but ended up dead anyway.
This one however looks important, this little girl with brown hair. She is someone important not that I care because she's already dead.
"So, why don't you come out. Aren't you going to avenge your little slave?"
"She's not my slave, she's one of my tribesmen. Although I'm sad that she died, it's her weakness that got her killed"
A raven shape-shifted into a mature woman...with magic. She's extremely strong judging by her aura and I can sense a lot of mana in her, not that it changes anything. She's stronger than me in raw power but my technique and skills are flawless with my limited self.
"Well, what do you want to ask?"
"Why don't you join my tribe. You are strong, the tribe values strong"
"Sigh~, you are right. I'm strong and you know what. I hate when someone tried to loot me, which your Branwen tribe did. So, Let's get to a death battle, the survivor leaves this area alive"
She took her katana which is infused with dust.
"Very well, if I win. You'll join my tribe. If I lose, I die"
I swung my spear shedding the blood away from it.
Of course, she attacked me when I didn't even say start but that doesn't matter. I blocked her attack with my arm. Infinite aura for the win.
She is quick in getting back but I predicted where she will be landing and swung my spear which she tried to parry but I'm faster. It hit her aura barrier sending her flying away and crashing.
"You know, I'm holding back a lot. My attack could have cut through your aura like a piece of paper. So, are you going to take it seriously now?"
She rushed at me striking me with slashing and quick-strike attacks but I blocked them with my weapon easily. Seeing I'm not breaking a sweat she used a sneak attack.
A portal appeared behind me and a wind-coated blade passed through it as I fly in the air avoiding it.
"Hmm Faunus instincts are really good"
Landing on the ground, I saw Branwen's leader open a portal, mainly she's going to escape from her body language.
Before that can happen, I flew there and slashed at her, she narrowly escaped from me avoiding the attack but my spear cut through her sword, and the portal closed itself. Judging by how her aura got depleted a little, this is her semblance.
"Your semblance shows that you are weak, it is a means to escape in case you face a stronger opponent. Don't worry, I don't blame you, you have the right to have that kind of semblance. After all, you are weak"
I was about to finish her by piercing her with my spear but I jumped back as a lightning strike is about to hit me listening to my instincts.
She flew in the air as she used mana to control the weather, a blade formed in her hand while I released a laser charge at her from Alectrona.
She avoided it and froze my body up to my neck.
I channelled all of my aura into Alectrona and released all of it on the spot, causing an explosion and a huge flash of light from the blast, it melted everything around me including. the ice. Due to my virtually infinite aura, no damage has been done to me.
Simultaneously the magic-user got blasted away, I'm getting hungry. I was having Takoyaki until these idiots spilt my food.
"This is justice for my Takoyaki!!"
I flew at super speeds as my Alectrona pierced the body of the woman, skewering her body.
"I'm so hungry~"
The mana from the woman's body tried to enter my body but I held it.
"Magic is no fun, Azatoth"
The black mist absorbed the mana and stored it in a pocket space. I don't want to use magic here, even for minor convenience, mind control and creation are already more than enough.
" Why don't I slaughter the tribe for fun while I'm at it"
I flew in the air searching for nearby settlements. I heard about Branwen tribe raids, they pillage villages and kill unguarded settlements.
Soon, I found the settlement.
"I could Nuke it buuut~~~.... it's not fun"
I saw the one guy that is observing my fight earlier running to report his observation.
Once he is inside the settlement, I landed in the middle of it.
"Afternoon, Sewer rats~"
I began my mass slaughter of the entire tribe, it is a form of releasing pent-up frustration.
As I relieved myself. I felt better.
It's already been one and a half years since I began my journey.
I already covered most of the parts of the world, only Atlas is left.
I am about to continue my journey but I received an unexpected call.

"Why did you summon me urgently professor? I'm already mad that you disturbed my journey" I asked my Sanctum principal.
"Wait, they should be here anytime now"
I waited as he told, sure enough. I saw two to three military vehicles of Atlas Military stop by outside the campus. If they are here to capture me for Willow's murder, I pity them.
Even General Ironwood is here along with Winter Schnee. From the looks of it, they aren't here to capture me probably they want to hire me? Let's see.
I was taken to a room, where General Ironwood and Schnee are there.
"I can finally get to meet you, Akane"
I nodded as I sat in front of him. I can see the displeasure in Schnee's eyes.
"Right, From what I can see, you are...Mr.Ironwoord, Military personnel from Atlas. What do you need from me?"
"It's General Ironwood"
Winter Schnee seems to be fiercely loyal to Ironwood, it's clear in her voice. From the Bio I read about her, she wanted to escape from her family's control and wanted to make something for herself, she want to be in control of her own life.
Too bad, she has no idea that General Ironwood and the rest of the little brotherhood planned to groom her to be the next maiden. Her life is once again in someone's control but she's not aware of it. She's thinking she's in full control of her life.
Ah~ such a pity
"Ignorance is really a bliss, Isn't it General Ironwood?"
I can see him giving confused looks for a second but he agreed nonetheless
"Yes, but you don't have to call me General since you are still a student and not yet have been enlisted in the military"
"So, you found out I'm from Atlas?" I asked in confusion. Is he braindead? I can already guess he wanted me to join the military but why the hell does he think I will join there when I escaped. I won't even have a shred of loyalty, not to mention even if he forced me, he must have already known about me from some sort of investigation.
It didn't take even another second to figure out he is desperate. Whatever, it's not my problem.
"Yes, we have seen records that you are from Atlas. I am here to announce that you have admission to Atlas academy with a complete scholarship"
"I decline"
To my surprise, he didn't politely turn away, instead "Akane, This is not a request, it is an order. As an Atlas citizen, you have to enrol there, especially due to new laws made recently "
I hate someone pushing me more than anything " Well then Ironwood, you want me to protect a country that is indirectly ruled by Schnees. The same family that killed my mom and dad by abusing their abilities in dust mines and overworking them. The same family, that ordered this manslaughter"
I threw him my scroll where the list of Schnees illegal dealings are recorded with proofs and a video of a contract taken by thugs for bringing some Faunus to mines by manslaughtering the minor establishments in vacuo.
He and Winter saw them in shock.
"W..Why d..didn't you release it to the public??"
I saw Winter sweating a little, Ironwood is shocked but he quickly composed.
"Does it matter? It won't change anything. SDC is a brand, he can get away with it. Besides, it's not like I care about Atlas. In fact, I want SDC to continue its crimes. By the looks of it, in the near future Atlas will fall because everyone has a breaking point, that includes faunus too"
Ironwood and Winter didn't know what to say.
"Ironwood, It is a gut feeling but I know you will watch the fall of Atlas with your own eyes. Overly loyal men like you suffer the most "
With that, I left. It's not like they can force me anyway.
