Dexter
After Riley left, I had not been myself. I had felt guilty of how my brothers and I had treated her. The humiliation and hurt we caused her can never be erased.
What if she can never forgive us? I curved my hands into clenched fists, disliking even the thought of it.
I would get Riley back, whether or not my brothers are in support of it. That, I vowed silently, I would do.
I walked towards our garden, ignoring the servants that greeted me and fished out my mobile phone from my pocket. Scrolling through it, I dialed the one number that I knew could do the job.
The call was picked on the third ring.
"Where the hell did you keep your phone? I had been calling for ages." I snapped, plucking a rose and lifting it to my nose. The scent calmed my nerves and I left it there.
Laughter rang out from Ghost's background. "For ages? You and I know this is the third ring. Wait, you never call unless it's important. Did anything happen?"
"I need you to do something for me." I paused as I took the time to go through my plan first. Do I want to do this? Will she be mad at me when she finds out about this? Screw it, I'd rather she was here and mad than there without a clue on how she is. So I filled Ghost in on the details, telling him to track her down and find every single detail concerning her for the past five years.
"Do your brothers know you're doing this?" Ghost asked, and without having him before me, I knew he had a smirk on his face.
How my hand itched to slap the stupid smirk off his face.
Bastard.
"And you think I need their consent first?" I narrowed my eyes as though he was standing in front of me.
"Dexter, I didn't mean—"
"You don't fucking mean what?" I drawled out the word, my hand clenched on the device. "Listen, I don't need anyone's permission to do a fucking thing neither do you need one to obey my orders."
"Hey, calm down bro. I was only kidding." His chuckle rang out loud, making me withdraw the device away from my ear.
"Do you want me to go deaf?" I sighed, "Anyways, so when am I expecting the tab on my ex-wife?"
"Give me an hour or two and I'd get back to you."
I smiled wryly, very soon, just very soon, and I'd have you back in my arms. Where you'd always belonged. If only I had not been so blind, I would have still had you with me, safe in my arms.
"Good. I'll be waiting for your call." I beamed, lowering my phone to end our conversation but pausing a bit, "I want you to know you're the best tracker ever. Never forget that and bring back good news to me."
I didn't wait to hear what he'd say before I ended the call.
Smiling and in high spirit, I threw away the rose which had already started to wither, making my way back upstairs and towards my room.
On my way to my room, I heard some strange sounds from Drew's bedroom, and I slowly made my way towards it. With each step, I realized that the sound was a moan and my legs halted when my ears picked on the one name that was beginning to haunt my dream.
Riley.
Was he jerking off to her name or what?
Without a second thought, I pushed the door open. The sounds I had heard couldn't have prepared me more for the sight played before me. Dexter had his cock in his hand, his head thrown backwards, her name tumbling down his lips. The evidence of his release spilled on the floor and as absurd as the thought could be, I felt my dick sprang to life.
Fuck.
"What the hell just happened here?" I managed to ask after I had collected myself.
Drew looked up at me, his eyes filled with lust that sent blood rushing through my balls. A smirk played across his lips, his right index finger gently caressing the head of his dick.
"What do you think?" I cocked an eyebrow. "Your earlier words left me feeling quite," he pursed his lips, eyes regarding me, "I don't know the word to use, not like it matters anyway."
I released a sigh that I didn't know I was holding. I glanced around his room, which was in order before bringing back my gaze on him.
"I thought you weren't interested in her? When did you change your mind?" I asked.
He wiped his dick with the palm of his hand, tucking it back in his briefs before wearing back his trousers.
He walked towards his bathroom and flung the door open, only pausing to look back at me. "You can have her. I bet by now she has her life sorted out. Did you think she'd like to have anything to do with either of us, especially you?"
His words stung like a bite of an ant. I had already punished myself enough for the way I treated her. I bet she would not have known it, and what if what Drew said was actually true? That she in fact has a life out there, planned out and perfect?
Do I have an answer to that? No. Will I find out? Fucking yes.
So, I narrowed my eyes, "Let's see about that." And with that, I stormed out of the door. Just as I went into my own bedroom, my phone beeped with a call and I answered it without viewing the caller.
"Hello."
"I have it ready. Luna Riley is currently in the wolves pack, the Moon Stone Pack to be precise. I don't have any more tabs on her because no one seems to bear the name Riley that looks like her." Ghost explained.
I halted on my steps, my chest racing a mile a minute. This was it. Finally, I now had a lead.
I smiled briskly, "Thank you very much. I can't tell you how happy I am over this news. I will send your payment in a jiffy." My blood danced with excitement. "One of these days, come over to the palace and have a drink with me."
I heard him chuckle and mutter thanks before I finally hung up.
"Yes!" I jumped in delight with my mobile held tightly in my hands.
I was finally getting somewhere. With each step, I'd finally be able to get to her.
With eager hands, I scrolled through my phone, my fingers fanned the number of the Beta of the Moon Stone Pack.
I am looking for a lady named Riley, who sought refuge in your pack five years ago. Send every detail to me, and I'd be there to pay her a visit.
I hit send.
