"You ready to go into the hall tonight to address your people as the queen about what happened last night?" I kissed the top of
Avalon's head as I turned on the water and running our bath.
Cant believe we both slept peacefully in the bathroom. Through the night and through the day. We were really exhausted form last night.
"Look i made a cup." she said, gesturing at the mug in front of her.
My lips quirked. "What is this, little flower?"
"A caramel latte."
"In a golden retriever mug?" The cup had small golden retrievers around it, all wearing absurd outfits.
She looked down at where the dog was resting by her feet. "We should get a pet and do some shopping for some outfits for our pet."
I grimaced, knowing I couldn't refuse her but dreading Tobias' and Dorian's shit-eating grin face when he saw the dog in a fucking rain jacket or whatever Avalon had in mind.
