"What the hell are you stalling for.? What do want from me?. Ares is coming for you" Avalon threatened.
She is chained with a bondage called"heavenly fire".
She could not break free. Her hair all scattered all over the bright orange floor.
Never in her wildest dreams has she ever dream of coming to hell.
So not w that Asmodeus, the prince of hell, wants her so much. Whatever he wants from her.
He is not ready to tell her yet.
But she knows and could get a hurt of what he wants.
She is guessing because he wants everything that belongs to Ares, then he wants her as a bait to make Ares fall under plans which she strongly prays that Ares should not fall for his trap.
But this situation does not look like it.
It seems Asmodeus did not want her for his desires.
No he did not want her for her to reign beside him alone. He wants her powers, her divine powers.
He had said something about experimenting a pure angel blood.
That infact Avalon is the utmost weapon in his experiment.
Which means Avalon is the one posseing the angel blood.
"What do you say, we have some meal?".
Asmodeus proposed like it was not a hardship for Avalon who has been bounded for about a week and refusing food.
Whatever his food Is.
And yes, once he had tried forcing a black liquid, that seemed like a soup in her mouth.
That when she swallowed it, she was acting like she was possessed.
She felt overly powerful, her insides curling, her power energy core is growing now.
She still feels like she can be able to utilize her powers.
And the prophecy foretold, is the opposite of what Asmodeus has done.
No she can't return back to earth with her posseing this immense power.
She can destroy the whole kingdom on impact.
She was not supposed to be here in EDOMEI in the first place.
Some one with angelic blood, especially the one like her. A devine witch.!
Must not be seen crawling awayfrom the prince of hell.
It is highly against the angels wish.
"Tell me something I don't know, and I Will free you. Something about Ares, I just need a very top secret about him and I will have his soul, and after that, I collect just a drop of your blood. And I inject myself. I become my own experiment. Ahh! Oh even Ares would not be able to comprehend my kind of power when I return back to earth, with you by my side and you deeply in love with me. While we rule side by side after destroying Ares Elijah Mickelson."
Asmodeus finally let out his deepest secret. His one and only reason of her being here. But there much more things underling her wasn't saying.
So Avalon presses on.
"Well, you and i both know you can not gain what you want a51pps long as I don't know Ares' deepest secret. He does not speak much. He does not even waste time when it is not needed. You have forced it all out from my mouth and you cannot find what you want yet. What is it you really want from doing all this evil?. Ofcourse other than wanting everything Ares has after claiming he took everything you own". She asks. Ready for play him with his own game.
Perhaps she would follow her own guts.
The only thing that is restraining her from using her powers to free herself is because of the prophecy.
And Asmodeus already warned her about her great powers, she was more powerful than he has ever imagined.
She could destroy the universe without been well thought how to to ustilize her powers.
Asmodeus was quiet for a while before he turns back to her.
"Once upon a time, before I banished to EDOMEI. I was the most respected and most loved in the universe. Vampires, Warewolves, warlock,Angels, hunters,witches, warriors of the moon,Lycans and pure-bloodeds and what nots co_exists amongst each other. Untill a day when, Ares' mother summoned me with her last breath."
Asmodeus looks hurt now.
Making Avalon curious.
"And what is your connection with Ares' mother, she was a pure-blood." Avalon asks.
"LUNA BANE MICKELSON! She was my wife!, both me and her were lovers, before she was stolen away by King Asa, former King of the kingdom of Meth. Because of her blood. Oh how I loved LUNA. She was my everything untill Asa, Ares' father claimed her as his mate!" He roared.
"Ares Elijah Mickelson, just keeps taking away, my everything. So I killed Asa my self, after Ares grew i and made him watch as i rip off his father's throat. That bastard was not even Ares' father which means Ares does not deserve to become a king!"
Asmodeus declares the truth. Not holding back anymore.
"What? How Is that even possible, you cannot expect me to trust your lies you demon". Avalon retorts angrily for saying such things about Ares.
"Really? I can see your hate for demons. Every species hates the demons after all. So I don't give a damn what you thing. I may be what you set me up to be, but don't try to call me a liar. I, ASMODEUS VERLASQES, IS ARES, ELIJAH MICKELSON'S FATHER!"
He finally says it. Breathing. He turns away.
"There you have it..." He mummurs, all this didn't feel true to Avalon.
No way, Asmodeus was Ares' father.
"Ho-How?". She breaks, this is not true.
"See, I have lived for centuries and I am not one to lie, why?. Now you hate your lover now that you learn that he has demon blood?. Luna and I consummate that night, almost four centuries ago, I was only about two centuries when I met her. Luna was pregnant before Asa took her in and as per the ritual, Asa and Luna both consummate on their wedding night and they thought they begat Ares together."
"Oh my_". Avalon's voice was gone.
"All this new to you?. Oh you don't know anything yet. Centuries later, Ares' mother died, after calling me with her last breath. So I summon her Soul into her realm, it was part of the bargain. If I give her what she wants, which she can never get. Then I get to be with my son. I take back everything Asa took away from me. Even if it takes Ares' life".! Asmodeus declares.
"So that-that was the bargain Ares spoke about. Does - does Ares knows about it?". Avalon asks, bit able to beat all this. Not knowing how Ares will stomach all of this information that almost breaks her.
So this how it ends, even her deepest enemy wasn't who she thinks he is.
Ares powers wasn't just because he was a pure-blood, he is extremely powerful because he has demon blood too. And his mother has lied to him till her death, just to purify her soul.
Oh poor, poor Ares, he was betrayed by everyone around him.
And am I ready to be one of this people now?.
"So you see that, prophecy foretold. I can help you not to fall because when I finally wipe away Ares, you would rule by my side, with so great powers and we will own this universe together".
"You and I both know I will never break to that extent. I will always stay by Ares' side. You think you are the one whose everything was taken away from?. Ares is your son! And you will do all of this to your own son?.You are going to make him hate you more not have your son back. Ares is a good person. !".
Screaming, Avalon spat on his face.
"Yeah says the person whose same purpose is to avenge her mother's and sister's death from him in the first place." Asmodeus snorts.
"How did you know?" Avalon demands, feeling stripped.
She had never meant someone so psychotic like Asmodeus.
"Enough questions daughter, time for hunting Ares father's grave!.". Asmodeus smirks, as he released her through magic he cleans her and makes he change her dresss.
"What are we going there for. It's on earth . And I cannot go back there".
"And who says his soul is?. Asa was a king, so every king's are bound to sin. He is here in hell to pay back for what he's done. I have been tormenting him for so long. Before Luna's death".
"You are surely a demon". Avalon says, irked by his guys.
"Say no more angel blood. I don't need any rude remarks from that mouth of yours. Because there is no escape when fire meets fate".
Now everything dawns on her. She was the fire.
Ares is her fate.
It still strongly points that Ares is her downfall in every ways.
And is Asmodeus her foe, or Ares?
