Considering my very exhausting, passionate and unforgettable night with Ares last night, I didn't wake once, and there were no nightmares.
And he woke me up with kisses.
Needless to say, I've fallen head over heels for the man.
After getting ready for today, I head out of our chambers but stop halfway when I see Ares stanfing ner the dining where he's talking to Tobias and Declan. Dorian looks like he is having a lot of excitement.
"Still can't believe it," Dorian says. "Never thought I'd live to see the day you fall for a woman."
"Shut up," Ares growls at his brother, then turns his attention to Declan. "You don't let her out of your sight."
Yes, your majesty."
"No sign of Sawyer?" Ares asks.
"Nothing. Can't track the fucker's scent either. She or he probably maksed it after attacking," Tobias replies, a frustrated frown settling on his forehead. That's the first time I have heard him curse.
