It is 8:00 pm, and I hope Emerson is waiting for me at the airport. It's been a long time since I haven't met her, and now she is going for her job. Here I am alone again. I don't know if I will be able to tell her what's going on in my life. My heart is heavy, all my emotions are at their peak. I don't know if it's because she is leaving, and I end up alone.
Emerson is lucky; even if she doesn't like her job, she still has it. If she wants to go, she will be able to meet her family and friends again. But for me, I have no family or friends. Speaking of friends, they are just competitors. After fighting all the battles in my mind, I realize that I've arrived at my destination. The driver is looking at me suspiciously, so I give him money and open the door.
The airport is busy as usual, and I see Emerson standing there wearing a floral frock. She sees me, and we lunge at each other. She slaps me,saying, "Where were you? I texted you a lot. Are you lost, or did something happen?" Without giving me a chance to speak, I reply, "If I didn't see your text, why would I be here?"
Finally, I ask her about her job. "It's a great job in Italy. I hope I will work there. And yeah, I have a surprise for you," she replies. "What surprise?"I ask eagerly. She gives me a huge portrait of myself wearing a black t-shirt and the necklace she gave me. After seeing that picture, I hug her and start crying. All my emotions burst into tears. I don't know if my emotions are for my loneliness, her leaving, or my difficult life. After some time, I leave her because it's time to say goodbye. I tell her that I'm glad she forgot everything and started her life. Now, the precious days are just memories.
