Chereads / Sealed Divine Throne II: Twin Sons of Dragon / Chapter 10 - Chapter 5 Lesson 1_2

Chapter 10 - Chapter 5 Lesson 1_2

The only one who seemed unclear, appeared to be Long Kongkong, but amid the cheers of his classmates, he felt something stir within, his blood began to boil, and he started to shout out as well.

The Temple Academy Branch of Magic in Soaring Dragon City.

Like all others, Long Dangdang's class too held thirty students. Unquestionably, they were Mages Class One of the Magic Academy's 1st Graders. Eleven boys, nineteen girls.

Soaring Dragon City was the most famous city in the continent for producing beautiful women. Therefore, when Long Dangdang entered the classroom, he was dazzled by the vibrant beauty of his female classmates.

Even more important, at least ten of the nineteen girls in the class had stolen glances at him, three others seemed too embarrassed to do so and the rest four sat behind him. Due to their early development, the girls were slightly taller than the boys.

The girls were all pretty reserved, none of them took the initiative to greet him. His desk mate, however, was one of the most attractive girls in the class. She was just ten years old and not fully grown, but her delicate and tender looks still caught Long Dangdang's eye.

At that moment, the classroom door opened and a stunning woman in her twenties walked in, her long, fiery hair falling over her shoulders, a faint glow in her rosy eyes. Her figure was slender and proportionate, the epitome of femininity.

"Hello everyone. I am your class form teacher, Si Yu. For quite some time, I will accompany you in exploring the magnificent ocean of magic. Everyone will give a self-introduction mentioning your name and the magic attribute you plan on learning. The academy will keep the details of your innate magic spiritual power confidential. Talent does not represent everything after all. But, if your talent is overwhelmingly good, it may be a different story."

While talking, she subconsciously glanced at Long Dangdang and flashed him a dazzling smile.

Bewitched by her smile, Long Dangdang drifted into a daze, Teacher Si Yu's smile was indeed radiant!

"Alright, you can start," Si Yu pointed directly towards Long Dangdang.

"Me?" Long Dangdang quickly stood up, his face turning red. He was good-looking and this blush just made him seem more charming.

"Hello, teacher, hello, everyone. I uh…" Due to nervousness, he stuttered on his words.

"It's okay, relax. After all, you are our class's prodigy. I want to keep it a secret, but it's impossible to do so," Si Yu chuckled, her affection for the gifted yet bashful boy was apparent.

Long Dangdang paused and composed himself, "Um, my name is Long Dangdang. I still haven't decided which branch of magic to choose." Evidently, he still hadn't thought about it. He possessed the approval of seven magic elements, and could choose freely, even choose multiple branches if he could handle the load.

Si Yu acknowledged and spoke to the other students, "I'm sure you have all heard about Dangdang's exceptional talent. I propose that he becomes our class monitor. Those who agree raise your hands."

Apart from Long Dangdang, twenty-five out of twenty-nine classmates from Mages Class One raised their hands, with all nineteen girls in favor.

"Class monitor? Me?" Long Dangdang looked at Si Yu in astonishment, at a loss for words. Maybe he felt more comfortable when he was with his younger brother.

"You see, it's everyone's consensus. Now, our class monitor, say a few words." Si Yu started clapping, and the rest of the students joined in.

Long Dangdang blushed. "Teacher, I'm afraid I might not be good enough. Thank you all for your support. I ... I'll do my best." He then hurriedly sat down.

"It seems our class monitor needs some time to adjust. Alright, let's start our self-introduction, beginning from the first row on the left."

Long Dangdang felt a bit dazed. When he was at the basic academy with Kongkong, they spent most of their time playing. He couldn't be considered a good student, let alone a class monitor. After being separated, his academic performance improved slightly, but it remained average. Now that he had come to the higher-ranked Temple Academy, he had suddenly become the class monitor. Truth be told, he was caught off guard and his heart was racing.

Then, a hand held out a tissue to him. "You're sweating, wipe it off." A gentle voice sounded.

Long Dangdang instinctively turned to his desk mate who was smirking at him.

"Th-thank you…" He took the tissue, wiped his forehead, and noticed the mild fragrance on it.

"Let's get acquainted, class monitor. I'm Ai Xia." The girl beside him smiled pleasantly.

"Um um, hello, I'm Long Dangdang."

Soon, all the students had finished their self-introduction. Perhaps due to inattentiveness, Long Dangdang only remembered the name of his desk mate.

"Alright, let's start the class. Since you all have come here, I presume you have some basic knowledge of mages. In our world, countless elements form every object we come across, every sight we see, even ourselves. Mages control elements they are most compatible with, harnessing their power. These controlled elements become our magic."

"Before commencing our study, I want you to understand the properties of the magic that you will be majoring in. Only by knowing your magic attribute can you cultivate efficiently. During the awakening of your innate magic spiritual power, the corresponding element statue becomes bright. This indicates that you are compatible with this element. If multiple statues glow at the same time, whichever is the brightest is your best choice. Of course, if you're confident and have enough time, you may choose multiple attributes for simultaneous cultivation, provided these are compatible. But, you should prioritise one. Based on our academy's experience, we suggest you choose one kind of magic, as focused cultivation helps you reach a higher level more easily."

"Class monitor, you should start. Tell us your thoughts. During your awakening, how many statues sparkled, what were their brightness levels, and how are you going to choose?" Si Yu seemed quite interested in Long Dangdang and asked him to stand up again.

Long Dangdang honestly replied, "Seven statues sparkled. It seems to me they were all bright. I couldn't discern a difference."

Si Yu's face twitched at the corners, a benediction from seven elements?

"Class monitor, please sit. Well, he doesn't count, he's an outlier. You all pretend you didn't hear that, I'll ask someone else."

The entire class erupted into laughter.
