Chapter 11 - Chapter 6 Temple Gift Pack_1

Long Dangdang was a bit dizzy after class. The first class of the day was mainly to get to know each other, nothing substantial.

As he stepped out of the classroom, an angry voice rang in his ears, "Long Dangdang, come out. Meet me at the entrance of the reporting area."

"You need not shout, I'm not deaf." Long Dangdang rubbed his ears. The voice came from a small earpiece in his ear.

Due to the special circumstances of their admission into the academy, his brother, Long Leilei, had spent a lot of money on this communication device. It worked within a ten-kilometer radius and could be used for emergencies.

When Long Dangdang arrived at the reporting area, an aggrieved Long Kongkong was already waiting.

"What now?" Long Dangdang could relax only when he was alone with his brother.

"How dare you ask me? Long Dangdang, you liar! Where is the beautiful girl? Every single thing in our class is male, even the flies." Long Kongkong yelled angrily.

"Ah? I didn't know that! Who knew your knights were so strange." Long Dangdang feigned innocence.

Long Kongkong said maliciously, "That's why you've been insisting on being a mage, right? Because girls outnumber boys in the magic specialization, isn't it? You are really cunning."

Long Dangdang chuckled, "When mom initially recommended that we become mages, she said there were more girls in mage field. You brushed it off saying it was pointless as they were not yours. Have you forgotten?"

Long Kongkong paused momentarily, "Did I say that? I, I said that because I didn't want to go to school. Now that I have to, I ... anyway, I want to go to the magic specialization."

Long Dangdang replied, "It's too late."

Long Kongkong's eyes gleamed; he smiled and sidled up to Long Dangdang, grabbing his right arm, "Bro, you're my real brother, right? Let's make a deal!"

"People who are unusually courteous have selfish intentions. Don't play this game with me. You are acting brotherly only because you want something from me. Otherwise, you would casually call me by name, Long Dangdang. You think I'll fall for your trick?" Long Dangdang looked disdainful.

"Bro, just listen to me! You are supposed to help me hide the fact that I've got no talent, right? So, you have to learn the knight's skills. And, when you impersonate me as a knight, I need to know the mage's knowledge too. How about this, we exchange classes every alternate day? Tomorrow you go to my class, and I go to yours. Doesn't that sound good? Moreover, you can practice both magic and knight skills without wasting your amazing talent!"

"Hmm, you can stop with that. I have the magic talent for seven elements. I can barely handle these. How can I be a dual-track?" Long Dangdang looked up towards the sky.

"Bro, considering how poor my talent is, weaker than common people, can't you just let your little brother go without a wife in the future? Besides, this is the only way to better conceal our identity theft! Do you want our parents to be punished because we get exposed? Remember, our parents took a risk for us. As sons, shouldn't we fulfill their wish?" Long Kongkong pleaded.

Long Dangdang shot him a glance, "I can agree, but you have to promise me that you will study hard, despite your poor talent. Otherwise, I can't hide our secret on my own."

Long Kongkong paused, "How can I study with this level of talent? My innate inner spiritual power and innate magic spiritual force are not even up to the admission standards."

Long Dangdang narrowed his eyes, "Our class form teacher, Si Yu, said something today, which makes a lot of sense. She pointed out that specializing in one thing is easier for self-improvement. It doesn't matter if your talent is poor. You can just focus on one or two magics or skills, practice every day until it becomes second nature. At least it will look real when pretending. No matter how poor your talent is, you can always learn some basic skills."

Long Kongkong looked puzzled, "Is that so?"

Long Dangdang replied, "We should at least try it. As long as you promise to study at least one magic and one knight's skill hard, I'll agree to exchange classes with you. This arrangement is meant to avoid trouble for our parents."

"Okay, deal." To escape the daily company of thirty men and a male teacher, Long Kongkong readily agreed.

Just as the brothers were about to go back to their dormitory, a figure suddenly descended from the sky and blocked their way.

On seeing this person, they paused for a second; Long Kongkong's eyes began to shine, "Wow, such a beautiful woman! Ouch, why are you pinching me?"

"Hello, teacher." While pinching Long Kongkong, Long Dangdang greeted Si Yu.

The person blocking their way was none other than their form teacher from Magic Academy 1st Grader Class One, the beautiful Si Yu with her long red curls.

"So, this must be the genius from the Knights Academy, your twin brother, Long Kongkong." Si Yu looked at Long Kongkong interestedly.

Long Kongkong's eyes were shining with enthusiasm, making his resolve to join the Magic Academy even stronger, "Hello, teacher, I am the smart and charming Long Kongkong."
