Kary paused for a moment, then shook his head and said, "That's unlikely. I've never heard of magicians existing within the Assassin's Guild. After all, stealth attacks are more powerful when executed by those who have been specially trained and are skilled in martial arts. The assassins they sent this time are all of the Stealth Killer level, which I find somewhat incomprehensible. I don't know whether they're underestimating us or if it's intentional. If I were the leader of the Assassin's Guild, I definitely wouldn't send magicians, as having assassins strike from the shadows and retreat immediately after would surely inflict heavy losses on our mages."
