"I see, thank you," Steve replied.
"My powers may not allow me to know the outcome of this event, but after meeting you, I doubt this would ever faze you."
"Of course, you would notice."
"I would like to request your help in protecting the other National Level Hunters. Above all, can you protect the Hunter, Sung Jin Woo?" Norma asked as she immediately bowed.
"You fear that this person or group may be going after other National Level Hunters?" Steve asked.
"I believe so. We are willing to offer payment if necessary," Norma replied.
Her visions weren't absolute. They came to pass, but not always in the ways she thought.
That's why she couldn't tell if the bright light swallowing Steve was a good thing or not. She had to figure those things out on her own.
She knew her request was out of line. After all, what would make him go out of his way to protect the other National Level Hunters?
She didn't know what his personality was like, but looking at him, he definitely had the power.
She was the upgrader, and now she felt as though she was looking at the vast skies. It was vastly different from the Hunter, Sung Jin Woo.
Sung Jin Woo felt as though she was staring into a deep abyss, and the abyss was constantly staring back.
However, here, it felt as though she was standing before a limitless ocean, with a sky above it that had no end in sight.
This was far more power than she had ever seen in her entire life, to the extent that she wouldn't argue if he were ever proclaimed the strongest National Level Hunter in the world.
Chuckling
Steve began laughing as he finally stood up from his seat, and as soon as he did so, it felt like she had been plunged under the sea.
"You could never pay me, so don't worry. Instead, just inform me when you have another vision," Steve said.
"… Thank you, sir!!" Norma replied excitedly.
Of course, payment wasn't an issue. They could definitely pay him well enough.
Norma Selner had no idea why he had refused the payment, but she was happy nonetheless.
Her goal had been achieved. With her head and that of her guards bowed, she watched Steve leave the VIP lounge before finally moving on to his business.
Watching the man leave, she finally let go of the breath she had unknowingly been holding.
The man may have appeared kind, but that kind of power meant that he could do anything, and there would be no serious consequences.
Dropping back in her chair, the lady tried her best to calm her heart. This was a really risky move.
"How different is this from threatening a National Level Hunter?" she suddenly asked herself.
While she tried her best to get back into the proper mood to continue her work, Steve and his entourage arrived before the escort party that was waiting for them.
"Why didn't you just kill that woman? She threatened you," Judy asked almost as soon as they got into the car.
"She's clairvoyant. That wasn't her intention… at least now I know that The Rulers are making their move soon," Steve replied.
Legia remained quiet throughout the ride, almost as though trying to stay invisible. However, Steve didn't care about any of that. He had something else to focus on.
"Sir, good news, the London Gate has been taken care of," Judy announced.
"Really?! By who?"
"Hunter Sung Jin Woo, apparently. It seems you weren't Sentinel's only option."
