Chapter 126 - Entering the Dungeon

Using the chance Steve had provided, the hunters immediately got into action. The mages immediately began chanting and launched their attacks, while the fighters could already be seen jumping into action.

The scene became chaotic within seconds, but Steve wasn't surprised.

He had expected it and was even more pleased that the majority of hunters here could hold the creature back and, if possible, kill it.

The mana shield erected by the S-rank hunter, Yuri Orloff, broke apart within mere seconds of the creature hitting it.

"Judy, issue an evacuation warning. I want everyone within two kilometers of here moved away," Steve ordered as he unleashed the arrow.

Amidst all the chaos, the arrow flew through the crowd, and within seconds, the entire field became silent.

The once gallant and giant being now had a giant hole in its stomach.

Boom!!!

A loud noise was heard as the creature's body fell to the ground.

"He killed that monster with just one attack," someone said in admiration.

Turning to look at the adoring crowd of hunters, Steve smiled but remained focused on the task at hand. He didn't need to remind them to focus as well—after all, they probably had more experience than him.

He had only been doing this for at most a year and some months, but many of them here had over five years of experience.

Such people didn't need a reminder to be alert. As if on cue, Steve saw multiple other giants step out of the Dungeon Gate.

"Where is that boy when you need him?" Steve called out as he immediately jumped into battle.

Judy, on the other hand, could be seen lightly and gracefully moving to the rescue of the hunters that were either injured or about to be.

Even if she was technically an artificial Monarch, she was still a monarch at the end of the day and therefore couldn't exactly unleash her full powers in front of these people.

Instead, she acted as support—never helping in direct combat but casting several support spells that boosted stamina, strength, healing, etc.

She was the best companion to have around in such a situation, but Steve found himself wishing that the boy, Sung Jin-Woo, was here instead.

His ability to summon the souls of the dead and damned was needed the most now.

"Judy, take care of the outside, I'm going in!" Steve shouted from high up in the sky.

"I will do my best, Sir!" Judy replied as she produced a shield that blocked the punch of one of the giants against a hunter.

Seeing that the outside was being handled, Steve immediately flew into the gate. Inside, he found himself within an incredibly large castle hallway.

True, he could only see the inside of the hallway he was in, but it wasn't hard to tell that this was a castle.

The decoration matched those he'd find on Earth, with the same grand arches and other designs.

However, apart from the familiar but supersized design, Steve found it odd that there were no giants in the hallway.

"Come to think of it, this place is neater than expected," Steve said as he looked around.
