"I won't have any privacy from now on, would I?" Steve asked as he immediately resigned himself to his fate.
"Unfortunately, You are now officially Korea's second National level hunter and it's only functional powerhouse" Gunhee said in a dark tone
From their expression, Steve could tell that he was in for a lot more than he thought.
He wasn't stupid, he understood what that sentence meant. National Level Hunters may seem all high and mighty but from what he had learnt in the past few days, they were subject to the government of their country.
He had just become an asset to the Korean Government and a very powerful one at that considering his abilities as a craftsman.
"Thankfully I do have the power to isolate myself" Steve replied which earned him a raised eyebrow.
"You don't intend to follow any of the traditional customs… You know the fame, the wealth and influence that each National level hunter holds, is all due to the government" Henry explained
"That much is obvious, however do I look like I could actually care more about it… my abilities aren't combat based, they are creative in nature and those, according to history, seem to be the most destructive" Steve said in a serious tone.
He had absolutely no plans to work under the government. However, since he was in Korea… He understood that he was essentially their nuclear deterrent.
However that was only on face value, they could throw his name around as much as they wanted but his allegiance only lied with himself and they would know so by now.
"I see" Gunhee said as he gave a hearty laugh before they walked out of the room.
There was no more need to wait so they all prepared to leave, Steve thought of all the extra unseen responsibilities that just got added to his name due to this new title and rank.
"Mr. Grant, before you leave, a word" Henry said just as soon as they left the office.
"Sure" Steve replied as he followed the man.
The two walked a small distance away from the rest. Steve didnt know if this was an effort to prevent others from hearing them but he didnt care.
Everyone in the building literally had enhanced senses, they could hear beyond what a normal human could, this wasnt stopping any of them from eavesdropping
"Okay so what's going on?" Steve asked
"I know you refuse to be tied down to any nation and will never agree to my request to join the Sentinel, however, I hope that you and I can come to an agreement for the Sentinel" Henry began
"Mr. Gunhee already bought first rights, I can't sell it to you again" Steve replied
"No, I'm not talking about that"
"Oh, then what is it?"
"I would like to request or commission the creation of a Combat suit from you"
"Mr Gunhee deal secured first rights for all Hunter Association related bodies, I don't think you need to personally commission something with me"
"I know but I just want a suit, we will provide the materials and you can just go wild with you…"
"You want something that can boost an S-rank to National Level, don't you?" Steve said after a while cutting the man short.
He may be wrong but the Sentinel had reason to commission a suit from him.
