The moonlight on their hands was no longer warm, and the two Moon Witches stared at each other as if they had been cloaked in a night's worth of snow, both faces as snowy and bleak as each other.
"Wolves?" Kristina murmured, touching her pale lips.
"Wolves? Wolves?" The colored parrot landed lightly on the young girl's shoulder.
Dill, after all, had been through many battles; she quickly adjusted, and with a slight movement, she realized that the robe behind her was already soaked with cold sweat.
In the [Goddess's expectation], she has a bottom line based on her luck. The last time she stayed in the mob village and escaped from death, Dill thought that the next time the big deal would be to meet a real werewolf, such as Mucha. Think about it; maybe it's not so bad.
This is to make her die, right? This time, it's seriously about her death, isn't it?
Thinking about this, Dill sneaked a glance at Kristina. The other party was still in the same state of restlessness, causing Dill's inner sense of guilt to become even heavier. Although it was a bit weird, she felt that Kristina, including the entire GreenFei Castle, might get in trouble because of her, the "goddess's favorite."
"Yes!" Kristina slapped the blanket so hard that Dill thought the other woman had realized that she was the one with the bad luck.
"Dill, the presence of human wolves means that there must be a werewolf nearby who's manipulating them again!"
"So?"
"So what!" Kristina flicked the young girl's forehead and said, "This is a great opportunity for us to complete the hunt and honor the Moon Goddess! Finally, we meet a werewolf!"
Dill's eyes widened in surprise Not everyone was like her, encountering wolves wherever they went, Most moon witches weren't afraid of encountering werewolves; they were afraid of not being able to find them.
"Werewolves are not a problem; as long as we kill the werewolf that bit them, the curse will be removed, and then we can both save people and not be ashamed of the Moon Goddess's teachings."
The more Kristina spoke, the more excited she became, her hands clenched in fists and rubbing her palms together, almost hating the fact that she couldn't bring her sword out right now to find the werewolves and fight them to the death.
"That's great, Dill; we have to plan it so that when the time comes, half of you and half of me will never be apart, and we'll go into the Temple of the Goddesses together, hand in hand!"
No, no, that half of the head you take it, walking to the South Cape, the brain is rotten into ice cream. Dill wiped the cold sweat from her forehead, but Kristina's passionate speech made her regain her mood and start thinking about all the possible ways to survive.
They were moon witches; only werewolves were afraid of them.
Dill envied Kristina for having such a strong soul.
Kristina cupped the young girl's face as if she were looking at some treasure, "Dill, dear, what other magic do you know? Let's turn in quickly, and we have to come up with a complete strategy as soon as possible; the hunt has already begun!"
That reminded Dill, and she gently pushed Kristina away before pulling the bronze-looking glass out of the cupboard."The Truth Crystal Goggles?" Naturally, Kristina recognized this. "A farewell gift from Lady Amber?"
Like Kristina's meditation blanket, the Truth Crystal Mirror was a treasure that Amber had placed in Dill's cupboard earlier. Dill blew on the crystals above it, letting them sparkle in the moonlight, and then took a good look at it.

*Curse: [Otherworldly Visitor EX] [Goddess's Expectation A] [Raven C]
LV 15! Dill felt a slight pain in her eyes; it must have been the reflection of the moon that stung her eyes! It's not tears or anything!
But I have to say, the place where humans gather is a good place to brush up on experience value. The copy of the mob village in Jonestown, despite the nine deaths, did allow Dill to have her various skills and levels snapped up, officially upgrading from a rookie chicken to a newbie village adventurer in one go.
The [Crescent Moon Shelter A] and [Raven C] mills have already been seen, but they are also each cut to use once, one used to save people and one used to harm people, respectively, the primary crescent moon magic and under moon magic.
What puzzled Dill was [Raging Feast A], When did this run out of blessings?
[Raging Banquet A]
*Earth Magic LV5
Gives a chance to designate an unspecified spell to be upgraded to the Divine Arts scale; no thanks :D
What the hell? Where did this Earth Magic come from? Who do I thank? Why did it seem like her skills page was being used as a message board?
Dill couldn't make sense of it and wanted to ask the elf who was outside enjoying the moon to check if there was something wrong with it for her, but once she saw Kristina's expectant eyes, she could only harden her heart and quickly look down the page.
[Abundance B] and [Aura B] are upgrades that are used when paired with [Crescent Moon Shelter].
[Aura B].
*Medium-range increase in the rate of comprehension of inspiration indirectly increases the success rate of spells below B rank.
Abundance B]
*Medium-range enhancement of the effects of unspecified spells when using flora and fauna as the medium for casting spells.
That said, it had indeed been a long time since Dill had been in a situation where her spell casting had gone wrong, and right now she just wanted to praise the Moon God along with Kristina.
As for [Divinity C], the additional title of Divine Whisperer grants Dill the ability to communicate with animals, but the truth is that except for some intelligent animals, most small animals are full of nothing but feeding and reproduction, so it's basically still a chicken scratch that doesn't do much good.
What Dill cares about is the phrase "rolling of spells below C rank." She clicks on the details.
[Regularize]
*Improves the magic attribute "Absolute" and increases the success rate of the spell to its maximum.
Wow, Dill has officially retracted the phrase "nothing works.".
The last thing she didn't want to click on was [Goddess Expectation A].
Goddess's Expectation [A] The goddess is particularly fond of you, and the invisible power of destiny is unpredictable, dramatically increasing the chances of uncertainty.
Don't let the goddess down. If you can please the gods, a curse can be a blessing.
Dill was like a test taker checking her grades on a piece of paper after a big test, and she couldn't help but let out a huge sigh of relief.
At least it no longer "greatly increases the chance of being put in danger by a passive state," although it was still ambiguous, but she was familiar with "uncertain chance."
After the full moon, the moon goddess is also the goddess of luck. Dressed in night clothes, the goddess of the moon shelters the undead, goblins, hermits, and other intangible legends and mysteries, and she is in charge of the elusive power of fate.
The torch of the Goddess of the Underworld Moon can illuminate confused destinies and guide the path ahead for all beings. Uncertainty of opportunity means a crisis or chance. Breaking out of a predicament may be just a thought away, but it may also be a thought away from falling into hell instead. Perhaps, just like her current situation, it is the goddess's torch that has led her here.
"Dill?"
Kristina's voice roused her, and it took Dill a moment to snap out of her deep thoughts.
She reached for her looking glass and suddenly had a flash of insight, "Kristina, do you mind if I use the Truth Crystal Mirror to appraise you?"
In fact, Dill could have just picked up the looking glass and looked through it, but her inexplicable intuition told her that it would be very rude to ask for permission first.
"Appraisal? Sure." Kristina shrugged, not caring.
[Kristina LV 18]
*Priesthood / Devotee of the Moon Goddess / Titles [Stalker] [Lost Rose]
*Attribute: [Moon] [Human]
*Status: Healthy
*Equipment: [Colorful Parrot LV 20]
*Blessing: [Silver Light Magic A] [Enchantment A] [Mastery B] [Omnipotence B] [Transfiguration B] [Charm C] [Shadow Dissipation C] [King's Blood E]
"Wow?" Kristina asked, "Why do I... have the feeling that I've been lifted by my skirt and looked at naked, it's so hot; is this thing messing with me?"
Dill handed the looking glass to Kristina and said, "Try it on me."
Kristina couldn't wait to pick it up.
"No wonder Ms. Amber keeps it handy. This is the truth. It's beautiful... Ahhhh, when did you become so loved by the goddess, Dill? You're sure to become a powerful God's favorite. Praise the Goddess."
Hearing Kristina's dreamlike tone, Dill could be sure that the other party was definitely seeing something different from herself, and it wouldn't be any skill panel anyway.
Without waiting for Kristina to start chanting words in praise of the goddess, Dill snatched back the looking glass as soon as she could and refocused it on Kristina.
It was no surprise that all of Kristina's magic was blessed with no negative attributes, and Dill suspected that she was the only moon witch that the goddess "deeply desired.". And then, why would a demon's level be higher than its master's? Was that why Oslo had been treating Kristina with all kinds of disrespect? Dill decided that it would be better not to tell the other party this harsh truth.
What made Dill curious was the [Royal Blood E].
Royal Blood E]
*Gained [Mastery] [Omnipotence] based on this blessing.
Powerful blood magic was downgraded to the lowest level due to being an unborn bastard daughter.
Dill: I think I see something unearthly.
The royal family? Do you mean the royal family, and Kristina is the king's child? Also known as the... princess?
Dill stared flabbergasted at Kristina, a certain princess who was oblivious to the fact that she was still relying on the ground, digging her mouth out and throwing a tantrum, claiming her looking glass as she begged to experience the beauty of truth once more.
"Kristina ...." Dill was thinking of what to say, but then she suddenly remembered Kristina's lady, Lord Fran.
The succession to the throne was moving in a bloody way, babies bought by witches, widows burned to death by inexplicable, was there some hidden agenda that couldn't be known by Kristina?
"Forget it, forget it! Get on with business!" Kristina clapped her hands to call back Dill's attention.
"Now that we know what we know, I'll show you!"
She picked up her silver flute and held it to her lips to play a little tune, and soon there was the sound of birds flapping their wings, but Oslo stayed on her shoulder, and it was only then that Dill realized that there was a whole row of chubby little sparrows standing by the window.
"These little guys can be our eyes." Kristina smiled mysteriously as she counted them on her fingers and murmured, "Seven, okay."
She brought a shallow silver tray holding an unripe, greenish snakeberry, and the young girl drew another silver needle from her robe, letting the tip shimmer and glow in the moonlight before pricking her finger.
Bright beads of blood ticked down, but Kristina was in no hurry to catch them, as she stabbed the bright red tip of the needle into the snakeberry─
The ragged hole began to stain with a hint of blood, like a dead heart that had begun to beat again, and the dill watched as the plum fruit quickly turned from green to red and finally to a ripe, colorful fruit, which the seven sparrows quickly partook of when Kristina rested the silver tray on the edge of the window.
"Disgusting! Unsanitary!" Oslo flapped his wings in disgust and flew off to the other end of the room.
Kristina didn't want to care about him at all; she proudly stated, "Using blood to make an enchantment contract, that's what my lady taught me; a witch's blood has magical power in itself, and she said that my blood is the finest of all."
After saying that, she waved her hand, and a sparrow immediately flew down obediently on the tip of her hand, half afraid of people.
"Although these sparrows aren't as spiritual as Luna's animals, they can fly to all parts of the castle to check on us."
This is [Enchantment A] and [Harness B], right? Dill looked dumbfounded.
Probably too embarrassed by Dill's adoring gaze, Kristina waved her hand and motioned for the sparrows to back off. "But I can only harness some small-brained critters, smart animals... Oslo isn't in there, and the really smart ones aren't as easy to hook, so do you want to give it a try? I'm sure you can call out some more powerful animals."
A more powerful animal? Dill's face flashed through her mind, as Mucha's werewolves are, in fact, also considered a kind of animal. Blah blah blah as an envoy? He'd just smell blood and gnaw on himself like a fruit pie in the next second.
But with Kristina's hospitality and Dill's desire to learn new magic, she took the silver flute and tentatively played a few notes like Kristina, with a little anticipation.
Soon there was another flapping of wings, and Dill couldn't wait to turn her head as a row of ravens with sharp teeth and claws looked over in unison.
[You might fall flat on your face.] Crow One.
[You're going down.] Crow number two.
Kristina lay on the ground, trembling and stifling her laughter, and Dill poked her in the stomach with her flute. With the soft woolen blanket underneath them, the two girls quickly became a laughing, carefree couple.
When they had had enough, they lay down on the carpet, lazily basking in the moonlight.
"Kristina, I'm sorry, but something about your family... can't be told to you right now."
Kristina rolled her eyes, seeming to have long forgotten about it, "Who cares! To the Moon Goddess!"
Said to be looking for a glass of wine, Dill from the cupboard out of their collection of plum wine, glazed bottle in the moonlight as solid crystal, the two people a cup, to the moon to raise a glass.
"To the hunt! To the full moon! To the Goddess!"
