Natsu and Yuna were having a romantic moment in the pool when suddenly, they were interrupted by chaos caused by a group of three men. A staff member they pulled aside told them they were looking for the hidden vault for the casino. According to him they were destroying property and killing anyone who tried to stop them or didn't have the information they wanted. The men then came busting into the pool area where Yuna and Natsu were. There was a brawny bald man with a gold tooth, a tall slim man with black slicked-back hair wearing an eye patch, and a man wearing a fedora with a gold cane in his hand. All three of them wore fancy suits. Yuna and Natsu confronted the men and told them they wouldn't allow them to harm anyone else, that they would stop them. The leader then ordered his two henchmen to deal with the Fairy Tail wizards.
"Get 'em boys." The man in the fedora with the cane said.
"With pleasure." The tall slim guy with the eye patch said, readying himself for battle.
"Should we really kill the girl though? She'll be worth a pretty penny if we bring her back with us alive. Heheheh." The brawny bald guy said, licking his lips while staring at Yuna.
"Fine then. Do as you like." The boss man said as he disappeared from the scene. It's like he teleported away. Natsu growled, clenching his fists. Yuna signaled for Happy and Zoey to stay out of the fight since it was gonna get dangerous. They flew off to give Natsu and Yuna room to fight.
"You... How dare you even think of selling Yuna to human traffickers! Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Natsu yelled out of rage as he charged at the bald guy, his right fist ablaze. He punched him right in the gut but it didn't seem to do any damage.
"Hehe. That tickled. Is that all you got? Now it's my turn!" He said as he punched Natsu back, sending him flying into a wall.
"I'll let you in on a little secret: I can absorb pretty much any magic or physical damage and store up the energy to use to multiply the damage done by my own attack. The stronger the attack, The stronger I can attack back. In other words, I'm a complete powerhouse that's virtually invincible!" The bald man boasted with a laugh. Natsu got up and dusted himself off.
"Heh. That just means I have to do so much damage that you can't absorb all of it. Fire Dragon's Flame Elbow!" Natsu said as he charged at the bald man creating streams of fire from his elbows, increasing the strength of his punches.
"I told you, that won't work on me!" As the bald man threw a barrage of punches of his own at Natsu with even more force. As they exchanged blows, Yuna was caught up in her own fight with the eye patch man. He sighed after his buddy revealed how his magic worked.
"Oh dear, my brother is quite arrogant as you can see. He doesn't believe that telling his opponents the secret to his magic will change the outcome of a battle. I, on the other hand, am a gentleman. I always let my opponents make the first move." The eye patch man said.
"Alright then. Dimensional Dragon's Shattering Fang!" Yuna said as she enveloped her hands in a sharp-clawed gauntlet made of shards of reality and charged at the guy. She swiped at him in a claw-like fashion. But when her claws made contact with his torso, they passed right through him and disrupting his form briefly where she tried to strike him. It was like his body was made of water vapor.
"You see, I can turn my body or part of my body into a fine mist or make it as hard as a rock. I am immune to pretty much all damage while still being able to deliver a solid blow." The eye patch man said as he swung his fist at Yuna who quickly cast Dimensional Dragon's Portal in front of and behind her head. His fist went into the portal in front of her face and out the portal behind her. He seemed taken aback and Yuna took advantage of his shocked state.
"Dimensional Dragon's Fist!" Yuna said as she formed her hand into a fist, reinforced with shards of reality and threw a heavy punch at the eye patch man's face. This time she actually landed a hit. He stumbled backward, holding his nose. Yuna discovered that she could cause damage to him if he was taken by surprise.
"You'll pay for breaking my nose!" The man yelled as he swung his leg at Yuna, nailing her in the side. His kick hit her hard, his leg as solid as stone. But she persevered and grabbed onto his leg and raised her elbow into the air.
"Dimensional Dragon's Reality Break!" Yuna shouted as she slammed her arm down on his leg, breaking it along with reality. Both his leg and the space around it shattered like glass. The eye patch man yelled out in agony as Yuna leg go of his now badly broken leg. Seemed like she could also do damage to his body when he made it as hard as a rock. She tried to land a punch to his face, but he anticipated it and his head became like mist and her fist went straight through him.
"I'll admit, you got in a couple good hits! But you won't get any more." They eye patch man said. Now that he was getting serious, Yuna was having difficulty landing a solid hit. She had to dodge all his attacks. Blocking his attacks weren't exactly an option considering whenever he went on the offensive, he solidified his arms. Fortunately, his broken leg made his movement more limited. But that didn't change the fact that Yuna couldn't land a hit due to his mist ability. Just then, Yuna got an idea. She slipped into a portal over to Natsu and closed it right as the eye patch man tried to land a punch. Then she pulled him through a portal out of harms way just in time. The bald guy's fist just rushed through the area Natsu just was.
"Hey Natsu, think you can take on the guy with the eye patch? He can turn his whole body or part of it into mist or make it hard as stone." Yuna asked Natsu, pointed at the man she had been fighting.
"Of course I can take on Patchy! But then who's gonna fight Baldy here?" Natsu said.
"I'll take over." Yuna said as Natsu gave her a worried look.
"Are you sure? I don't want you taking on more than you can handle. He's strong." Natsu said with concern in his voice.
"Don't worry, I think switching opponents would actually be to our advantage. See if I take over the bald guy, I'll use Dimensional Dragon's Reality Break. Since that move shatters reality itself, that should do more damage than his absorption ability can handle. If you take on the eye patch guy, you can either vaporize or melt him out of existence with your flames." Yuna explained as Natsu nodded his head in understanding.
"Okay, leave Patchy to me. Good luck with Baldy." Natsu said as Yuna provided a portal to her former opponent and she went through another portal to the bald guy.
"So Pinky finally gave up, huh? Well that's good. I was getting sick of having to keep beating him to a pulp. The guy doesn't know when to give up. Plus this way, I get a chance with the lady. Hehehe." The bald guy said while licking his lips and making grabby motions with his hands. Yuna's face twisted in disgust.
"He didn't give up, we just switched opponents. And you have no chance of getting with me. I'm already taken." Yuna said, crossing her arms. The bald man frowned.
"Well I guess that means taking you out will be that much more satisfying, ripping ya away from your man by force." The bald man said with a wicked grin. Meanwhile, Natsu had been fighting the eye patch man. He caught the man's rock hard fist in one hand and set that hand ablaze, starting to melt the man's fist. He screamed in agony and tried to turn it into mist to escape Natsu's grip, but the flames were so hot, his mist form began vaporizing.
"I've had quite enough of you. Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame!" Natsu said as he lit his hands ablaze and brought them together, creating a huge fireball that he threw at the eye patch man at point blank. It didn't matter what form he took, mist or rock, the flames were too hot. After defeating him, Natsu looked over to see how Yuna was doing with the bald guy.
"Dimensional Dragon's Reality Break! I have the ability to break reality so unless you want to experience pain unlike anything you have before, I suggest you back down." Yuna said firmly as she threw her fist back, shattering reality. Natsu stared in awe, mesmerized by her beauty as the cracks in reality spread out from behind her.
"Didn't ya hear? I can absorb damage dealt by physical and magic attacks and return the blow even harder!" The bald man laughed as Yuna charged at him, drawing her fist back for an attack.
"Dimensional Dragon's Reality Break: Dimensional Dragon's Fist!" Yuna shouted as she reinforced her fist with shards of reality right before she threw a heavy punch. The bald man blocked her attack with one arm. But the moment he did, his arm and the space around it shattered like glass. The bald guy grabbed his broken arm and yelled out in pain. He was stunned and confused at what just happened.
'Wha-?! I was pretty sure I absorbed the damage from that attack. But instead of turning it into stored energy, I got hurt! What the hell?!' The bald guy thought to himself.
"You...! What did you do to me?! I can't turn the damage dealt from your attack into stored energy!" The bald man yelled at Yuna, holding his broken arm.
"I told you, I can break reality. Anything hit by my Dimensional Dragon's Reality Break attack shatters and doesn't work like it normally would." Yuna said as she prepared to attack again.
"Dimensional Dragon's Reality Break - Crystal Nova: Dimensional Dragon's Fist!" Yuna shouted as she reinforced both fists with shards of reality and pummeled the bald man with a series of rapid punches to various parts of his body, breaking him along with the area surrounding the point of contact. Natsu watched as the bald man fell to pieces before Yuna as she attacked over and over. He had seen her fight before, but she had never gotten this intense with her attacks. To Natsu, every blow Yuna delivered was in slow motion. He took in every detail, mesmerized by her fighting. The way her hair flowed as she destroyed her enemy was just captivating to him. She was both beautiful and dangerous. Once the bald man was defeated, Yuna started to collapse from exhaustion. Natsu ran towards her and caught her in his arms as she fell backward. She had used up a considerable amount of magic power.
"I did it. I defeated him." Yuna said tiredly as Natsu smiled at her.
"Yes you did. You did great." Natsu said as he helped Yuna stand up, her arm slung over his shoulder as he supported her.
"I'm fine Natsu. I can stand on my own now." Yuna said as she let go of Natsu's shoulder and stood on her own two feet. Suddenly, the boss teleported back to the scene to see that his henchmen had been defeated.
"Impossible! My men were defeated?! You'll pay for that!" The boss man with the fedora said as he teleported to Natsu and kicked him, knocking him forward onto the ground. Then he teleported to Yuna and tried to land a punch but she instinctively cast Dimensional Dragon's Portal in front of her and directed his attack out the connecting portal behind her. She may have been tired and used up a lot of magic power, but she still had her sharp battle instincts and some magic and strength left. Taken aback by this, he teleported away from them out of sight. However, since his magic was a type of manipulation of space, Yuna was able to sense where he was. She wasn't able to sense where he went earlier because he had teleported out of her range of detection.
"There you are. Dimensional Dragon's Void!" Yuna said as she opened a portal to the void right below his feet where he fell in. She closed the void.
"There! Now that he's trapped in my Dimensional Dragon's Void, he can't teleport out." Yuna said as Natsu stared at her in confusion.
"How did you know where he was?" Natsu asked Yuna.
"He uses teleportation magic which is a type of space manipulation magic. Since I can control dimensional space, I can sense disturbances within a large range of the surrounding area. around me. I wasn't able to track him down earlier because he had teleported beyond the range I can detect." Yuna explained.
"I see. Hey can you open up the void?" Natsu asked as Yuna tilted her head to the side in a confused manner.
"Huh? Why?" Yuna asked.
"The void doesn't incapacitate or kill whoever gets trapped in it. So unless we take him out, he could still become a problem. Let me into the void so we can take care of him once and for all. And besides, this isn't the first time I've fought enemies in your void." Natsu suggested as Yuna thought for a moment.
"I guess you're right. Alright then. Dimensional Dragon's Void! Now Natsu!" Yuna said as she opened a portal to the void and Natsu rushed inside. She immediately closed it to prevent the boss man from escaping. Inside the void, he enveloped his entire body in flames so he could see. But it was so dark, even being the source of light himself, he still could barely see anything. He mainly relied on his keen sense of smell and hearing. He wandered around in the void until he found the boss man as the light from his fire reflected off of him.
"Found you. Now I can end this once and for all!" Natsu said as he rushed at the boss with his fist drawn back. But as he was about to land a punch, the boss man teleported behind Natsu and attempted to roundhouse kick him.
"You fool. I can still teleport within this space. I just can't teleport out." The boss said. But as he was about to land the kick, Natsu immediately turned around and caught his leg.
"This isn't my first time fighting people in this void. I've learned to utilize my sense of smell and hearing when battling others in here." Natsu said as he burned the boss man's leg with his flames. The man yanked his leg out of his grip, limping backward away from Natsu who walked towards him menacingly. He let off an intense aura that of a fiery dragon.
"You... you're not human!" The boss man said as he trembled before Natsu.
"I am human. But I can't say the same for you. You're a monster. You ordered your men to kill innocent civilians because of your greed. I can't allow you to go free after what you've done." Natsu said firmly as he approached the boss man. He was frozen in fear, too terrified to make another move. Because of that, Natsu was able to take him out easily with no trouble. Yuna, sensed the battle was over and opened the void. Natsu came out, dragging the unconscious body of the boss by the back of his shirt collar.
"He didn't put up much of a fight in the end. His henchmen were a lot stronger than he was. Kind of disappointing. Why would such strong guys follow a weakling like this?" Natsu said lifting up the boss and dangling him.
"My guess is that he is probably the descendant of a prestigious family so he has strong loyal followers despite his own strength being quite low. Anyways we should call the authorities and have them deal with this man." Yuna said as Natsu nodded in agreement. Just then, the manager of the resort arrived with the authorities and Happy and Zoey.
"Talk about perfect timing." Yuna said as Natsu waved at the manager.
"We took care of the guys that were rampaging around the resort." Natsu announced. As the soldiers apprehended the boss man, the manager turned to Yuna and Natsu.
"My staff said there were three guys terrorizing my staff and guests." The manager asked, seeming a bit confused.
"Well there were, but the other two guys were really dangerous so they had to be put down permanently." Yuna explained as and manager sighed.
"Well I guess it couldn't be helped." The manager said.
"You can always count on us Fairy Tail wizards." Natsu said as he put his arm around Yuna's waist, pulling her towards him.
"Though there is a significant amount of property damage and quite a few casualties. While none of the casualties of my staff members and guests are your doing, I can't exactly say the same for some of the property damage." The manager said as he looked around at the pool area which was in shambles because of Yuna's and Natsu's destructive attacks.
"Sorry sir." Yuna apologized as the manager waved his hands.
"But despite all that, I still can't thank you enough for stopping those thugs from doing more damage than they had already caused. You have my gratitude." The manager said as he bowed politely to the two of them.
"Insurance should be able to cover the cost of the damages anyways, so I can let it slide." The manager said as Yuna and Natsu sighed in relief.
"As a token of my appreciation, I'll triple the original amount I owe you for the job your originally came here to do." The manager offered as he handed Yuna and Natsu each a large bag of jewel. After the matter was settled, Yuna, Natsu, Happy, and Zoey headed back to the guild via Yuna's Dimensional Dragon's Portal and ordered something to eat and drink before heading to Natsu's cottage that he shared with Happy and Zoey.
"Ah, brings back memories... this cottage." Yuna said as she entered the small cottage she used to share with them back when she lived in Earth-land. Natsu walked in after her, then Happy and Zoey after him.
"Sure does." Natsu said as he closed the door. The two winged cats were tired from the long day and immediately curled up the couch together in the living room and fell asleep. Yuna walked around the cottage as nostalgic memories flooded her mind. She stopped in front of the open door of the one bedroom she and Natsu shared back in the day. She smiled softly as she remembered the days when she would cuddle with him in the bed, his warmth quickly sending her to sleep. Suddenly, she felt strong arms snake around her torso from behind.
"Natsu?" Yuna said his name as he rested his chin on her shoulder.
"We used to sleep together in here." Natsu said, recalling the good old days when Yuna lived with him.
"Yep, those were the days." Yuna said as Natsu buried his nose in the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent.
"Back then, we were too innocent to understand intimacy." Natsu chuckled as he pressed his hips against Yuna. As he did so, she could feel something growing and stiffening against her ass. She blushed, knowing exactly what it was.
"Yuna, I want to make new memories here... as adults." Natsu said lowly as Yuna's blush became even more apparent because she knew exactly what he meant. He turned her face towards his and began kissing her passionately.
