Yuna had just returned to Hage Village after finishing her homework. She found Asta who was surprised to see her. She explained that she would be visiting everyday for a week to train with him while Izuku was gone on his internship back at home. Asta, on board with the idea, was ready to go right then and there. He readied himself with his sword.
"First one to pin the other wins." Asta said as he charged at her with his sword.
"Spatial Magic: Fallen Angel Gate!" Yuna said as she formed a portal in front of Asta who quickly slashed through it with his sword.
"Nice try Yuna, but you're gonna have to do better than that to best me!" Asta said as he was just about to reach Yuna. But before he did, she quickly formed another portal on the ground in front of him which he fell straight into and landed flat on his face in front of Yuna from the connecting portal above. Yuna pounced on him, pinning him to the ground.
"You were saying?" Yuna said with a smirk, getting off of Asta and helping him up to his feet.
"Man I thought since we haven't trained together in so long you might have gotten a little rusty. I guess I was wrong. You're just as sharp as ever!" Asta said as he put his hand on Yuna's shoulder.
"I may have won this time, but I feel like I might have just gotten lucky. I haven't sparred with you in what feels like forever. Even though it's only been about a month." Yuna said as Asta caressed her shoulder with his thumb.
"I don't think that was luck. You're highly skilled in magic. You have a four leaf clover grimoire after all. Plus you're smart." Asta said reassuringly, making Yuna smile.
"Come on, let's go again. This time you come at me." Asta said as he ran off to put some distance between them and took a defensive stance. Yuna nodded and readied herself before charging at Asta.
"Spatial Magic: Archangel Shootdown!" Yuna shouted as she created and launched many spatial magic balls at Asta who either sliced the spells or hit them away. She had to dispel the ones that he hit back at her so they wouldn't hurt her or do any damage to the surrounding area. Those spatial magic balls carved through anything they came in contact with. As she kept him busy dealing with her Archangel Shootdown spell, she slipped through a portal and appeared behind him and tackled him to the ground.
"Looks like I win again." Yuna said as she lay on top of him.
"Like I said, it's not just luck. You're amazing Yuna. You haven't even been training at all lately and I'm still having a hard time beating you. Man I'm gonna have to train like crazy to catch up with you." Asta said as Yuna got off of him and helped him up again.
"Then come on. Let's train until you beat me." Yuna said as Asta gave her a determined smile. They got into their positions and went at it again until dinner time. After dinner, they went back to their training spot and trained together more. Asta ended up winning their last match.
~Time Skip~
The sun was about to set and Asta and Yuna headed back to the church together. They talked and laughed along the way.
"Ah... just like old times, huh Yuna?" Asta said as Yuna nodded her head.
"Yeah, brings back memories." Yuna said as Asta chuckled. He filled her in on all the training he had been doing while she'd been gone. He caught her up on how everyone else at the church was doing as well.
"Seems like you guys are doing well these days. I'm excited to be training with you again this week. It's gonna be just like what we used to do." Yuna said.
"Except for more intense. We have a Magic Knights Entrance Exam to get ready for after all." Asta added as Yuna chuckled.
"I'm ready. Bring it! I'll race you to the church." Yuna said as she started sprinting towards the church building.
"Hey no fair Yuna! You got a head start!" Asta said as he ran after her. He caught up to her and they were neck and neck until a wind spell swept them both off their feet and into the air. Yuno had joined in on their little race.
"Oh? Two can play at that game Yuno! Spatial Magic: Fallen Angel Gate!" Yuna said as she used her magic to make a portal below her connected directly in front of the church. She fell into the portal below and stepped out of the one in front of the church. Yuno was using his wind magic to race towards the church, leaving poor Asta in the dust. Yuna sighed and made a portal in front of Asta which he ran into and he came out of the other portal running straight into the church doors with a crash right before Yuno arrived.
"You're welcome Asta. Thanks to me, you beat Yuno here." Yuna said as she helped him up.
"Thanks Yuna." Asta thanked her, scratching the back of his head with a sheepish grin on his face. Then his goofy grin turned into an annoyed frown as he turned to Yuno.
"Hey, that was a nasty trick Yuno! Why'd you do that?! The race was only between me and Yuna." Asta yelled at Yuno who just ignored him.
"Welcome back Yuna. It's good to see you again." Yuno said with a faint smile as Asta yelled at him for ignoring him only to be ignored again.
"It's nice to see you too Yuno. You seem to be doing well. But Asta's right. The race was only between me and him. Why did you interfere?" Yuna said, shifting her weight and crossing her arms.
"Even if I wasn't initially part of the race, I couldn't just stand there and let my rival beat me to the church. Also, I wanted to see how a fellow four leaf clover grimoire wielder with spatial magic would handle my interference." Yuno answered honestly.
"I see. Anyways, I have to get going back home now. Asta, could you get Father and Sister Lily for me? And Yuno could you also help me get back? If more mages chip in, I don't need to expend as much magic." Yuna said. Asta nodded and went inside the church to get Father and Sister Lily to help Yuna get back home.
"Of course." Yuno said as the church doors opened with Asta, Father, and Sister Lily coming out. They stood in a circle around Yuna as she cast the spell to bring her home.
"Compound Gargantuan Magic: Door of Fate!" Yuna said as a runic circle formed around her where Yuno, Father, and Sister Lily stood and the large blue portal formed, lined with golden runes.
"Bye everyone! I'll see you tomorrow for training Asta, so be ready!" Yuna said as she waved goodbye.
"Oh I'll be ready." Asta said as Yuna stepped through the portal and appeared in her bedroom back at home. The portal closed and she got her pajamas on and climbed into her bed. Her strenuous training with Asta had tired her out and she fell asleep pretty much right away. The next day, after she finished her homework, she went back to Hage to train with Asta again until dark and went back home for bed. She repeated this routine for the next several days.
~Time Skip (5 Days)~
It was now May 18, a couple hours after Yuna had gotten home from school. She had just finished her homework for the day. So she put her hair in a ponytail and changed out of her school uniform and into a black sports bra and black workout leggings and put on a navy blue and light blue track suit jacket on top. She grabbed her grimoire then used her quirk to teleport to Asta's training ground in Hage. He was in the middle of a workout, waiting for her to arrive. When he saw her, he greeted her then they both got into their positions and started their sparring match. Yuna immediately opened her grimoire and charged at him, readying her Archangel Shootdown spell as he pulled his sword out of the pages of his grimoire. She sent the spatial magic balls at Asta who sliced through all but one of them with his sword. The one he missed, carved straight through the trunk of a tree. Yuna quickly dispelled it before it did anymore damage.
"Oh come on Asta! You missed one!" Yuna said to Asta.
"You're the one who didn't dispel it in time!" Asta said as they both went over to inspect the damage done to the tree. The trunk creaked as the tree swayed slightly in the wind.
"It could be dangerous to just leave it here like this." Yuna said as she cupped her chin in her hand while eyeing the tree up and down.
"I agree. Unfortunately, this tree is a little too big for me to chop up." Asta said as Yuna stepped back and opened her grimoire.
"Oh don't worry, I can take care of it. You're gonna want to step back though." Yuna said as Asta did as she said.
"Spatial Magic: Archangel Destruction!" Yuna said loudly as she created a huge mass of spatial magic. It looked like a large blob of static on a TV screen bordered by the same violet hue as her Archangel Shootdown spatial magic balls. She swiped back and forth at the tree with it until it was reduced to just the stump. Asta stared in both awe and terror at Yuna's magic.
"Whoa, that's some spell." Asta said just standing their dumbfounded as Yuna put her hand on his shoulder to get his attention.
"Shall we get back to training?" Yuna asked as Asta nodded. She took off her track suit jacket and Asta took off his shirt. They got into their positions and charged at each other. Yuna created a portal on the ground in front of Asta, but he saw it and slashed his sword downward and dispelled it before he ran into it.
"Nice try Yuna, but I'm not falling for that again!" Asta said as he continued barreling towards her with his sword ready.
"Spatial Magic: Fallen Angel Flapping!" Yuna said as she cast a mass of spatial magic on herself and warped directly in front of Asta. She slid on the ground like a baseball player, tripping him and making him fall forward flat on his face. The impact of the fall made him drop his sword. He rolled over towards where his sword had landed only to be pinned by Yuna. She grabbed his wrists and held them to the ground on either side of his head as she straddled his waist.
"Got you again." Yuna said as Asta just stared up at her, a blush starting to form on his face as he started to get aroused. Her outfit, consisting of a sports bra and skin tight leggings, really brought out her curves. And it didn't help that she was sitting directly on his crotch. Yuna felt something grow and harden beneath her. She blushed immediately when she realized exactly what it was.
"Yuna... I..." Asta started to say but trailed off as he averted his gaze to the side, too embarrassed to look her in the eye. Yuna let go of his wrists and turned his face towards hers. She cupped his face in her hands and looked into his lime green eyes with her teal ones and closed the distance between them, pressing her lips to his.
