The car glided to a stop at the grand entrance of the seven-star hotel, where Shen Yu Han had taken residence.
"Sir, we have arrived," Secretary Tang announced.
"Hmm," Shen Yu Han hummed softly, his gaze tender as he cradled Lu Feng Xi in his arms. "Feifei, are you awake?" he asked in a gentle tone.
Lu Feng Xi gently disengaged herself from Shen Yu Han's embrace. "Yes," she replied softly.
"We are at the hotel. Let's go," Shen Yu Han pronounced.
Secretary Tang promptly exited the car and opened the door for Shen Yu Han.
"Feifei, let's step out," Shen Yu Han said in a hushed tone as he emerged from the vehicle, extending his hand to assist Lu Feng Xi.
Lu Feng Xi nodded silently, her hand clasping Shen Yu Han's as she stepped out of the car, her head heavy from all the crying she had done earlier.
Shen Yu Han walked hand in hand and guided Lu Feng Xi to the suite.
"I... I want to take a shower," Lu Feng Xi murmured.
