After Feng Xi fell asleep, Yu Han went to the balcony of the suite and looked at the time. It was showing past nine o'clock. He called his grandmother and waited for her to answer her call.
"Yu Han, you finally answered my call. Did you like my surprise?" Grandma Shen asked with a smile while roaming in the garden with Aunt Yao.
"That was clever of you, Grandma," Yu Han asserted. "How could you leave her alone in the airport, that too, in a foreign land? Do you even know how terrified she was? She cried buckets in front of the entire ground staff. I wonder what they thought about us," he complained.
"Hahaha," Grandma Shen laughed. "You are the cause of all that. Did you even know Xiao Xi refused to take her meals in your absence? She was ready to leave the house because her husband suddenly disappeared," she scolded Yu Han for being so cold to his wife.
He was stunned to learn that. He never knew he affected Feng Xi this much.
