Lu Feng Xi emerged from the washroom, her face freshly washed and free of tears.
"FeiFei, let's go out for lunch," Shen Yu Han suggested as soon as she stepped out.
"But what if Mrs. Long is still there?" Lu Feng Xi asked, worry evident in her voice. She knew Shen Yu Han disliked having Mrs. Long around.
"Let's not worry about her," Shen Yu Han reassured. "As long as it's about Ji Chen, I can handle it." Taking Lu Feng Xi's hand in his, he added, "But before we go, there's something important I need to tell you."
"What's wrong?" Lu Feng Xi asked, her brows furrowing with concern.
"I know I have mentioned it before, but please be cautious and don't tell Ji Chen about what I shared with you earlier," Shen Yu Han reiterated, his voice filled with a plea for her understanding.
