Huracan quickly emerged from his hut, his face shifting from shock to fear.
"Tz-Tzacol! What have you become!?" he exclaimed.
"A wendigo, uncle!" His smile widened. "And I've come to crush the goddess's emissary."
"You disgrace us... Tzacol," Huracan muttered disapprovingly.
Eden approached casually, interrupting, "I don't think I've seen you around. Who are you?"
"What!? I'm Tza--"
Without waiting for a response, Eden grabbed his face and slammed his head onto the ground. His skull cracked like a melon, spewing black blood everywhere. The village fell into complete silence, bewildered by the incomprehensible scene. But within a second, the black liquid coalesced, reforming his head.
"Now I'm immortal, and so are my brothers," Tzacol managed to say under Eden's grip.
