Eden lay still in the snow, his body battered and his mind foggy. "I've spent too much time exposed to the corrupted mana. I'm in shit," he thought in his final moment before everything went black.
As the snowflakes gently fell on his inert body, the corrupted mana insidiously seeped into every fiber of his being. His orifices, like open faucets, poured streams of blood onto the frozen ground, staining the pristine whiteness with red. The atmosphere grew increasingly oppressive, as if the darkness itself was closing in on him.
Shadow creatures, drawn by the enticing smell of flesh, blood, and especially the released mana, slowly approached, their eyes shining with a ravenous hunger. Their sinister growls echoed in the frigid air, mingling with the whistling wind. Suddenly, two humanoid figures appeared near Eden's body, their presence almost unnoticed in the surrounding darkness.
