"As expected of the goddess's envoy," she said, then turned to Tzacol. His face flushed with shame. "Eden, he said that if you were the winner, he would finally recognize you as the goddess's emissary."
Eden dropped all the carcasses to the ground with a crash, sending up a flurry of snow. "Hmm, is that true? So do you recognize me now?" His tone was dry, and the coldness in his eyes intimidated Tzacol.
"Y-yes."
"Then... kneel." Veins stood out on Tzacol's face; he was so ashamed that if he could, he would have killed the bastard who humiliated him in front of his crush.
Tzacol bowed low.
"Lower! Is this the kind of respect you have for the goddess?"
"I challenge you to a duel, goddess's envoy!" Tzacol roared in anger, unable to bear it any longer.
"Tzacol, stop humiliating your parents and kneel. Even if you have no honor, at least show some respect for the goddess."
"Don't worry, Chief Huracan, I accept the duel."
