The little boy, frightened came out from under the bed and sat on it with his head facing down. Joshua squat before the little boy and beside Dr Louis.
"You're scared of shots?" He asked in a more calm tone. He wanted the boy to feel comfortable.
The boy nodded.
"Boys don't get scared you know that right?" He inquired and the boy nodded in agreement.
"Girls are the scared ones, always crying and screaming at the sight of danger" Joshua continued.
That statement earned a confused look from fay. She stared at him unbelievably down casting the females everywhere. How petty of him.
"Do you want to be called a little girl instead?" Joshua asked and the boy shook his head
"No" he mumbled.
"What was that?" Asked Joshua, he didn't hear him clearly
"No sir!" The boy said in a loud voice.
