The grand doors of the Coleridge Palace swung open, revealing a bustling scene. Aria and Delia said and waved goodbye to the group at Gabriel's cottage before heading towards the heart of the palace. As they approached the throne room, a hush fell over the gathered crowd. King Declan stood tall at the center, his gaze immediately locking onto Delia.
Delia, bracing herself for the worst, felt a tremor of fear run through her. But to her surprise, a warm smile spread across the King's face.
"Delia," he boomed, his voice filled with genuine warmth. "How does it feel to be a free woman?"
Delia blinked, taken aback. "So far, not bad, Your Majesty," she stammered, suspicion lingering in her voice. "Are you… are you going to arrest me now?"
King Declan chuckled, a rich sound that echoed through the hall. "Arrest you, young lady? Never! You were a victim, just as I was, trapped in Eva's evil web."
