TRACING THE BLOODY MONKEY
"Well, my body in this world is rather fragile. It couldn't withstand attacks from the powerful lash. I will die under the lashings and the Gem will capture my soul. That is part of your calculation?" Hanuman asked me.
"That is the only way to we get your soul back from the nose of the Church and Mages of Prolis", I replied to him.
"I really thank you for saving me, but I will leave you soon. My soul is not complete, it is only a fragment of my original self. Without my monkey body, I will vanish soon", Hanuman told me.
"Don't worry, I prepared this for you", I told Hanuman as I brought out a potion for him.
"What is this?" he asked me.
"It is a potion of Resurrection. Made from the essence of the Realm of Life. It can heal the body and even the soul", I replied to him.
Hanuman's soul quickly sniffed the potion of Resurrection. Soon, he absorbed all the magic inside the potion before he transformed into a monkey again.
"Have you resurrected?" I asked Hanuman.
"This is only a conjecture of my body, but I will survive in my soul form for a very long time until I find another suitable host. Other than that, I am all fine", Hanuman told me gladly and in relief for being able to survive death.
"We have another problem", Sara told us.
"What is the problem?" Rinna asked her.
"The monkey has another magic signature on him that is flashing into the surrounding calling out to those who could detect it", Sara told us to our shock and surprise.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I know what it is. The Mages of Prolis must have secretly put a spell on me to track me. Even my soul will not escape their magic", Hanuman told us regreetably.
"How can they track magic in your soul?" Rinna asked.
"The Mages of Prolis are not to be underestimated although tracking magic in soul is not easy at all", Hanuman told us.
"How far does the signature from the soul tracking travel? There must be a range to this magic?" I asked Sara.
"For about a kilometer away. Fortunately, the Mages of Prolis wouldn't come near Kaleon Town and our palace. They could probably only detect a small signature but couldn't locate the monkey", Sara replied to us.
"The Mages of Prolis will scour the city for me, and they will find me eventually, I must leave now before I get you into more trouble", Hanuman said to us.
"What should we do now?" Rinna asked me.
"Run another scam. That he always does", Sara replied to her on my behalf.
I thought about it for a while before I responded.
"Hanuman, do you mind a little malevolence?" I asked the monkey god.

"Cardinal Gungroy, what should we do now? The Mages of Prolis wouldn't let the matter about the monkey go", another cardinal asked Gungroy.
"Don't worry, I've called the apostles to return here. They would be here soon, and they will be able to deal with the Mages of Prolis", Cardinal Gungroy told the other cardinals.
Suddenly, someone rushed in to meet the cardinals.
"Did you get the Lash of Flagitious back from the emperor?" a cardinal asked the priest.
"The emperor told us that he never bought the Lash of Flagitious and he never lent it to the server boy. The emperor agreed to send the city's guards to search for the lash though", the priest replied to the cardinal.
"Who is that damn server boy and what is his purpose?" Cardinal Gungroy asked in anger and puzzlement.
After some time, another priest came to the Church.
"Your excellencies, the city's guards returned the Lash of Flagitious to us", the priest reported to the cardinals.
"Are you serious? Where is the server boy?" Gungroy asked.
"Erm.. the guards found the lash in a dump. They didn't find the server boy", the priest replied.
Cardinal Gungroy took the Lash of Flagitious to inspect it.
"Indeed, this was the same Lash of Flagitious that we used earlier to flog that bloody monkey", Cardinal Gungroy told them.
"I'm puzzled? What is the matter with the Lash of Flagitious?" a cardinal asked.
"Isn't this the Lash that we lost in Starri city a long time ago? You have recovered it?" another cardinal asked Gungroy.
"It is a long story. I still don't understand what has happened, but the lash seems to be missing many gems", Cardinal Gungroy told them.
The cardinals talked and discussed about the mystery surrounding the return of the Flash of Flagitious.
"Did the server boy steal the gems before throwing away the Lash of Flagitious?", a cardinal asked.
"It is possible. The greedy and stupid boy doesn't know the lash is far more valuable than those cheap gems", Cardinal Gungroy added.
Suddenly, the gate of the church was decimated by a powerful blast. As the dust settled, it was obvious who was at the gates of the church. They were the Mages of Prolis.
"How dare you attack our church?" Cardinal Gungroy shouted to the attackers.
"You sneaky monks try to steal our monkey and dare accuse us", Mage Narga screamed back at the cardinals and priests.
"I don't understand a word you are saying, bitch", another cardinal told the Mage.
"Calling me names you bloody Eunuchs. I have a SPELL", Mage Narga replied to the cardinals before she snapped her fingers.
Suddenly, the cardinals and priests before her were all up in smokes as their bodies were charred and destroyed by the Mage of Prolis' powerful magic.
"Mage Narga, do you think we are acting too hastily? These monks are from the Church of All-seeing", another mage asked Narga.
"These scums dare to trick us. They shall suffer the wrath of Prolis", Mage Narga replied.
"We don't have any proof that the cardinals did anything to deceive us", the assistant told the mage.
"Search this hell of a place", Mage Narga commanded her people.
