THE TREE AND HIS COTTON
"What is the Yellow Brick Road?" Chash asked her.
"It's the road to the Wizard of Oz", Melroy replied to him.
"Oh, that wizard. I watched it too. Are we going to meet the Tin man and the little girl here?" Chash asked us.
"Of course not. That's another story. You guys should watch less TV and read more books like Meera", I told him.
"I watched that too", Meera defended Chash suddenly.
So, we decided to go on the Yellow Bricks Road.
"So, you really can't use any magic in here?" Sara asked us.
"We'll know it when we try", I replied to her.
I tried conjuring something but to my horror, my templar sky was in a real mess. All the stars and planets in my templar sky swished around erratically and it became impossible to focus my magic.
"I can't conjure my magic", I told them regrettably.
Then Sara tried casting her usual spells.
"Hell, even my magic circuitries are short circuiting for no reason", Sara complained to us.
Sara casts her magic by channeling magic through unique patterns and circuitry. Even she couldn't cast spells here.
"Damn, magic doesn't work in here", I complained to them.

"What treasures do they have in here?" Ratatouille asked us but before we could answer him, he was already scouring the ground for them as he turned into a dog.
"You can turn into a dog", I asked Ratatouille.
"Of course, this is my natural ability", he replied to us before he wandered off.
"It seems not all magic is banned in Delirium. Only magic that requires concentration to cast doesn't work but those who conjure magic naturally should", Sara told us her opinion.
"My Rays of Death doesn't cast in this world too", Melroy added another complaint.
"Even my Ice and Fire doesn't work", Chash told us.
"Me too", Cassandra and Meera told us about their magic.
"Damn, that means almost all our magic is useless here", I said to them.
Suddenly, Sara brought out a Gatling cannon from her magical space and fired the gun into the air.
"Dada…dada…dada"
"We can still access our space artifacts", Sara told us to our relief and delight.

We wandered in the plains of Delirium, following the Yellow Bricks Road.
This Delirium wasn't strange and chaotic like we would imagine it. This place was quite normal, except with heavy fog and mist that occasionally obscured our view.
Suddenly, someone appeared from behind the mist and fog to greet us.
"Who are you, people? I've never seen you before," suddenly a little girl appeared in the fog to ask us.
It was strange for a girl to be here in Delirium, but she was a local that could guide us in this place.
"See, I told you we will meet a little girl here", Chash told us.
"Tourists. We are tourists who came to see this place", Melroy told the girl who wasn't familiar with the term.
"Can you show us around", I said to the girl.
"Come let me bring you to our home", she told me as she took my hand and ran, and I ran with her as my friends followed from behind.
We veered off the golden path.
Soon, the clouds around us slowly dispersed to reveal a beautiful plain of grassland and meadows.
We followed the girl and soon reached a field of cotton and in the middle of the field, there was a huge tree.
The tree wasn't a part of nature. It was unnatural. The tree seemed like a magical being, a Treant perhaps or some kind of magical existence that we haven't discovered before.
"That's our home. He's Nicklas and I'm Luspius", the girl whose name was Luspius told me and pointed to the magical tree.
"Are you sure your name is not Dorothy?" Chash asked Luspius who just laughed at him and played with his burning hair.
Chash was still insisting that this world was the world of Oz.
"No, I'm Luspius and you are not child friendly", the girl replied to him angrily after his fiery head burned her hands.
"Dorothy is probably in another Delirium", I reminded Chash.
There were some children who played around the large tree but there were no adults here who guarded or supervised them. Suddenly, the tree moved, and strange eyes and mouths appeared on the tree which shocked us.
"Who are you, people?" Nicklas, the magical tree asked us.
"Don't worry, Nicklas is nice", Luspius told us.
"Oh, hi Nicklas we just happened to travel here for our honeymoon but don't know where to go. Can you tell us more about this place and any fun things to see?" Melroy asked Nicklas, the tree.
Nicklas looked at us for some time, trying to see if we were bad people.
"Are you sure you didn't come from the Queen?" Nicklas asked us suspiciously.
"What Queen are you talking about? The only other people we met here is the cat", Ratatouille replied to the tree.
"Oh, the cat. You are good people then", Nicklas said to us.
Before we could have a longer chat, something interrupted our conversation.
Suddenly a swarm of insects swarmed toward the cotton field.
"Oh no, the locusts are here", Nicklas shouted out to the children in the cotton field as they quickly climbed on him.
"Don't worry we'll help you chase the locusts away", I told the tree.
"Don't destroy the cotton plants please", the tree replied to me.
"But what do we do with the locusts?" Ratatouille asked us.
"Fire might chase them off but don't destroy their cotton", I told them.
Chash quickly armed his magic to launch beams of Ice and fire at the locusts and Meera conjured her Mirrors to destroy them, while Sara cast powerful tornadoes to stop the insects. Even Melroy started shooting the insects with his laser beams.
After all our posturing, then we realized our magic doesn't work in Delirium.
"Please save us from the locusts", Luspius pleaded with us.
Suddenly, fire sprung toward the sky.
At the end of the fire was Sara, holding a large flame thrower.
"No magic beats fuel and gunpowder", Sara said to us.
