Chapter 36 - Chapter 36: Fuchsia gym [6th Gym]

Author's note: Please like, comment and follow. Every feedback is a motivation. I believe my work is worthy of getting comment/review discussions in the 50-100 range.

---P.S = This is a large chapter like 8k words. So, I labelled them with parts -1,2,3 to help the readers keep track of the reading. Sorry about that but I found that I can keep the battle better when writing in a single chapter. Trust me, it is an improvement.

As for the reason for squeezing in one chapter, it might be my mild OCD rising. After all, all the gyms till now had been written in a single chapter. Though they were only in the 4k range.

----------------Part 1 -------------------

Archer's POV :

----Archer vs Koga---

I felt alive as the first Pokémon was released onto the gym floor.

CLANG CLANG

Koga, the Poison Gym Leader/ Ninja, sent out his Beedrill with a calm silence, the bug Pokémon with its stingers clanking for battle.

Chirp

"Alright! Girl, It's your turn."

In response to the Beedrill, I chose Rookidee, my small but spirited Flying-type Pokémon, as my starting combatant.

The two Pokémon faced each other, ready to begin the battle.

The Referee soon started the count, "3."

I observed the crowd, which seemed larger than any of the previous gyms, filling the entire stadium.

[Author: Yeah, yeah. It's a sign of your improved popularity.]

"2."

Derek, leading his subordinates, cleared an entire section to seat Jon, Sam, and Samantha, while Rotomdex flew around to record the match.

"1, start the match."

Beedrill wasted no time, launching a barrage of pin missiles at Rookidee, aiming to catch it off guard.

WHOOSH

WHOOSH

However, Rookidee's small body came into play as she easily dodged the incoming attacks, turning gracefully through the air.

So, I decided to return the attack, "Rookidee, use Air Slashes."

The Beedrill delayed for a second just when the pin missile ended, seizing the opportunity, Rookidee retaliated with a flurry of concentrated flying energy slashes.

SLASH

SLASH

SLASH

The attacks as I expected landed with precision. The sheer speed and ease of the Air slash show the Rookidee's talent in flying-type moves. I can say without a doubt, below the legendary Pokemons, the rookie line is the best at Flying-type energy, worthy of being the only singular Flying-type Pokemon species.

BEEEEEEE

Koga's Beedrill though caught off guard, soon started evading them with a combination of its speed and Double Team. The situation changed in an instant by Koga's command.

"Beedrill, attack."

WHOOSH

Evading Rookidee's Air Slashes, Beedrill flew right to the small bird Pokémon in the sky and charged a Poison Jab, its stingers gleaming menacingly in a toxic purple in the gym's dim light.

"Rookidee, close your wings."

While my command worked as Rookidee closed her wings to use gravity to edge down in the last second, the poisonous glow still scratched her.

Despite the attack, Rookidee soon spread her small wings, rapidly turning purple from the sheer toxic nature. I could see her in pain and nausea as the poison spread.

CHIRP CHIRP

Beedrill, bearing only slight damage from the Air Slashes, flew coolly in front of Koga as if to absorb the shinobi demeanour of Koga.

I soon saw the AI alerting me, to a report from Rotomdex.

[AI Alert.

Rotomdex New feature: IN Battle scan

Rookidee Type: Flying Moves: Peck, Leer, Power Trip, Drill Peck, Taunt, Brave Bird, Air Slash.

Detecting:

-Rapid buildup of toxic energy.

-Rapid compensatory buildup of Flying-type energy.]

I smiled, seeing the effects of upgrades in Rotomdex, worth more than 5 million dollars. It had been worth it, especially since my Pokémon evolved unpredictably at times. Though it was beneficial, my controlling nature didn't agree with that. So, I shouted out the words that needed to put the final drop on the buildup.

After all, evolution has one confirmed factor as a catalyst- Emotions

"Come on Rookidee, remember that time in the mansion."

ROOKIDEEEE

Soon, I heard the sounds of Rookidee crying and saw a scene that pissed me off.

SMACK

"Shut up. Let me concentrate, Bitch. Otherwise, I will feed you to the Garchomp, I am curious how much data I can gather from the process."

DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

With a burst of breakdown from the past trauma, Rookidee glowed in the lights of evolution. The glowing Pokemon which is changing shape flew toward her opponent.

Her red eyes appeared first, followed by the now completely blue torso, with a wingspan of over 2 meters. It was enveloped in flying energy that drifted the air around the battlefield to it.

ZING

Soon the gathered energy lit the air as my Pokemon flew through the sky. I watched the fire path made by her.

 Brave Bird.

"Beedrill, protect."

BOX

The green glow from the spherical shield clashed with the Brave Bird, causing crackles of both coloured energies to drift out.

Koga, who didn't speak till now, finally said the first words to me, "You are quite arrogant to use the gym battle to push your bird."

"I am sorry but the league Restrictions all but declawed your strategy, poison, and even the strength of your Pokemon. So, I used the chance to push my Pokemon."

Even though I said the trash talk, I could accept his words, considering I could see this Beedrill is personally bred by him, unlike the gym battles till now. It showed in the poison toxicity of Beedrill, which completely spread to the head of Corvisquire, oddly making me think of the fact that this is not an anime.

Koga to my surprise voiced out the same fact, "No sudden event like Evolution, while helpful, can ever bridge the vast gap in strength. Besides, even without the claws, I still have my fangs."

CORVIISSSS

Under the pained shouts of Corvisquire, I saw that her body turned purplish, slowly until the Brave Bird disappeared. I watched as she fell to the ground in her unconscious state.

BANG

While defeat was unfortunate, it was expected. The goal of using her has been fulfilled with her evolution. Besides, this is the real world, I expected that much. Time to start the battle.

"Time to show them your strength, Beedrill."

Jon's POV:

The gym buzzed with anticipation as the next battle unfolded. This time, it was a Beedrill versus Beedrill showdown, and the atmosphere exploded in talks, filled with excitement.

I am the same.

I leaned forward in my seat, eager to witness the interesting clash between the same species of Pokémon.

On one side of the battlefield stood Archer's Beedrill, easily distinguished by the faint glow surrounding it. The glow seemed to pulse with energy, alternating with Agility and Harden. A speciality of Archer's breeding.

"What's the glow?"

Samantha answered Sam by saying, "It's Harden and Agility. Good decision to widen the gap with Koga's exhausted Beedrill."

I couldn't help but explain to Sam and Samantha the important thing, "You are overlooking the important thing- Archer's breeding. He somehow managed to breed his Pokemon to train the 2 moves to masteries."

Sam, my ignorant friend, asked me, "Move mastery?"

I rolled my eyes at his lack of interest in education, though a pity considering it is shared in the majority of Bharatsa.

Then again to be fair, educational awareness started developing after Bharatsa joined Kanto.

Just as I was about to explain to him, Samantha beat me to the explanation, "An informal speaking of training a Pokémon move. Can you see with ease whether Archer's Beedrill is using Agility or Harden? It is simply speaking using the move faster, longer and even stronger. It is a deeper subject that needs the complimentary breeding and training to achieve."

Yes, just like some electric Pokémon can master Charge such that they instinctively use it before commencing powerful attacks like Zap Canon or Thunder. The more trained it is, the more Electricity is produced.

[Author's note: Do you get it guys? You expect such things in Indigo tournaments or even higher-level fights. I will mention them until you get used to the concept. Think of this as the official start of the mechanics behind true Pokemon battles.]

"The battle shall commence."

With the command from the Referee, my eyes ran back to the two Beedrill.

Opposite Archer's Beedrill stood Koga's Beedrill, with poisoned Drills, ready for battle.

The two Pokémon faced each other, their sharp stingers gleaming in the dim light of the gym. It felt tense, with both sides waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

Though Archer Beedrill is raising its speed rapidly by only focusing on Agility. But Koga silently observed, giving his Beedrill time to use Rest.

I could more or less say in a battle between Pokemon of the same species, The match will be decided by move masteries, Training strategy and Breeding.

More precisely, on the trainer's judgment of their Pokémon.

Koga was the one who started the battle by shouting out, "Fell Stinger."

WHOOSH

Koga's Bee zoomed forward with its stinger glowing in Bug energy, but to the excitement of everyone, Archer's Beedrill did the same.

WHOOSH

CLANG

CLANG

CLANG

As the exchange of drills began, the sounds of clangs sounded throughout the venue.

But the one thing I noticed that almost gave me a Hard is that Archer's bee had a constant glow of Agility surrounding it. Making me fucking jealous of Archer's ease at mastering it, I want the same for Butterfree.

A comment from Samantha poked my thoughts, "Archer is worthy of his reputation as Breeder genius. And a good trainer too. While Status moves give temporary strength, there is a limit to that gain. It tells much about Archer's breeding to raise Beedrill's body to hold that much power gain."

"It is because of the evolution of Beedrill line."

I turned to see Sam, the expert of Beedrill, considering he is a beef clan guy. Archer has this weird habit of saying the clans of Bharatsa are just a means of maintaining relations. There are some benefits to them.

Anyways, Bee Clans have been raised among Beedrill, trained among Beedrill, and even died alongside Beedrill. So, I humbly asked for Sam's expertise, "What do you mean?"

"Unlike the Metapods of your Frees raise, which tend to change internally for various types of powders, the Kakuna stage is aimed at the strength of the shell and Speed. The more power stored and the stronger the shell in this stage, the stronger the consumption in evolution to get a stronger body and stronger stingers. Of course, None were able to be as anal as Archer regarding each detail."

I understood the concept which is similar to the fact that Metapods were given different powders or berries to expose the sac to various bio-chemical changes.

Though I tried to ignore Sam's comment on Archer's freaky detailing in this aspect.

CLANG

CLANG

BANG

The match was progressing quite well. With Archer's bee gaining speed with every move but Koga's Beedrill was not to be outdone. With each attack, it countered Archer's attacks with Pure skill. Not to forget its use of Sword Dance in between the exchanges, which is truly impressive.

I must ask Koga a few tips after this.

CLANG

CLANG

The two Beedrill danced around each other, locked in a fierce battle of close combat, like the ancient samurai or knights, which protected the lands against the terror of man and Pokemon alike.

Fucking cool.

I heard Koga's voice all over the field suddenly, "Beedrill start using your Poison Jabs."

I could see that the command distracted Archer's bee. Impressive, Koga has directly affected the combat with a simple Strategy. He is the Ninja.

I found myself on the edge of my seat, unable to tear my eyes away from the scary back-and-forth showdown.

SIZZLE

Poison drops flew to the ground, and sizzled to make holes. Koga is truly the Poison Ninja.

I noticed that Archer calmly looked at the exchange of drills, while suddenly shouting "Catch the stinger now and end it."

Before my mind could process the command, it was done.

Koga Bee's Poison Jab was caught in between Archer's bee stingers. Soon a glow of concentrated energy that reminded me of Slaking appeared in front of the head of the Archer's bee.

WHRROOOM

WHROOOM

Archer shouted out, "HYPER BEAM."

BOOOM

BOOOM

BANGGGGG

The field exploded in dust and falling stones as Koga's bee was crashed into the ground by the concentrated beam of Normal energy.

THUD THUDDD

Amongst the sounds of the rocks falling, it was Archer's Beedrill that emerged triumphant.

BEEEEDRRRILLLLLLLL

I got to my feet shouting with the bodyguards and Sam, "YEAH HOO! ARCHER'S STRATEGY NEVER MISSES HIS AIM. "

I sat down laughing at the awkward looks sent towards Archer.

Still, I am puzzled, "How did Archer's Beedrill manage to hold the dangerous Poison Jab."

Samantha whistled out while pointing at the Beedrill, "The constant glow of Harden in between the manages surrounding it had provided the extra defence needed to withstand Koga's onslaught and secure the win."

While I was processing the words, the majority of my brain was processing the cleavage showing from a small opening on Samantha's blouse. Combined with her silky voice, I noticed my pants tightening. Fuck Pokemon battles, this is important.

CLAP CLAPPPP

CLAAPP

CLAP

[Author's note: WTF are you doing? Clap for him. He got his priorities straight.]

The crowd erupted into cheers and claps as Archer's Beedrill was declared the winner. It was a hard-fought battle, but in the end, victory belonged to Archer and his Beedrill.

While concentrating on the jiggling of the fruits, I noticed in the back of my mind that Beedrill is using Rest to prepare for the next battle. I couldn't help myself from complaining, "Did he teach all his Pokémon Rest?"

The only reason I am not shouting it is because Beedrill is using the normal Rest, Sleeping while healing. Not the freaky result of Archer's breeding, usually shown by Electrivire and Slaking.

------------Part -2-------

Jon's POV:

"Crobat."

I soon observed Koga releasing his Crobat, a Poison/Flying type Pokémon, which emerged with a fierce cry, its wings spread wide as it prepared to face its opponent.

SCREECH

Koga's response was swift as he uttered the command as soon as the referee commanded to start the battle, "Air Cutter."

Crobat wasted no time in launching a razor-sharp blast of wind at Beedrill. The attack sliced through the air with deadly accuracy.

WHOOSH

WHOOOSH

While Beedrill was swift in dodging the air attacks, they suddenly changed direction, striking Beedrill and causing it to recoil from the impact.

BANG

But Archer was quick to retaliate, ordering Beedrill to counter," Pin Missiles."

As I watched as Pin missile sailed on to Koga's Crobat, my heart raced with anticipation because I saw Crobat easily dodging them. I continued to watch the speedy exchange in which Crobat was using Screech.

BOOM

BOOOOOM

BANG

BOOOMN

Amidst the sounds of missed Pin missiles and Sceeches, I could feel the energy pulsating through the gym, each move met with gasps and cheers from the spectators. After all, the match had only started for a few seconds, and it had turned to another level so fast.

I watched as a shadow ball from Crobat hit the Pin missiles.

BOOOOM

The sudden move gave a brief pause in the fast exchange.

Archer's Beedrill hovered in the air, its wings buzzing rhythmically. Across the battlefield, Koga's Crobat glided effortlessly, its sleek form exuding confidence.

"Come on, Beedrill! You've got this!" I whispered fervently, rooting for Archer's Pokémon to come out on top.

The tension mounted as the two Pokémon faced off, each waiting for the other to make the first move.

Suddenly, Beedrill darted forward with blinding speed, its needle-like arms shining for attack.

A move, which I recognized as Fell Stinger, easy since, I saw it many times in my frequent battles with Sam.

WHOOOOSHHH

But Crobat was quick to react, dodging Beedrill's assault with a graceful spin. I couldn't help but admire the ease of its movements, even as I held my breath in anticipation.

"Nice dodge, Crobat!" I called out, impressed by the Pokémon's evasive manoeuvres.

Samantha said with a slap on my head, "He is Archer's opponent."

Rubbing the spot I got hit, I replied to the coordinator who looked at me like a child, "It was an impressive dodge and this a fast-paced Pokemon battle, rarely seen."

She snorted with mutters of "Battle maniac". "Circuit Trainers."

But despite Beedrill's best efforts, the previous fight began to take its toll. With each passing moment, Beedrill seemed to struggle to keep up the speed.

It is a problem, especially with their similar strength.

"Beedrill, finish it."

Hearing Archer's command, I was excited for the turnabout. After all, for all his gym battles till now, Archer won despite such commands.

Despite the odds, Beedrill glowed with Bug energy.

But as if a pricked balloon, all my excitement went down the drain as Beedrill took the form of a green ball and suddenly went back to Archer, making a U-shape in the air.

I heard Sam exclaim beside me, "A good move."

The rest of the audience mirrored my weird looks at Sam, who wasn't even bothered by it.

The referee calmly said, "Challenger Archer, please send out your next Pokémon."

Archer nodded and sent out Charizard.

ROAAARRRRRRRRRR

"Come on, buddy, take flight."

At Archer's command, The Royal starter flew high as his flames burned on its tail.

With Charizard now in the fray, the battlefield crackled with renewed energy. The majestic Fire/Flying-type Pokémon soared through the air, its wings ablaze with fiery determination. Across from Charizard, Koga's Crobat hovered with calculated calmness, ready to face its new opponent.

"Charizard, let's show them what you're made of," Archer called out, his voice filled with confidence. "Start with a Flamethrower!"

Charizard responded with a fierce roar, unleashing a torrent of scorching flames from its jaws. The intense heat radiated through the gym as the Flamethrower attack streaked towards Crobat with blazing intensity.

But Koga was prepared.

"Dive."

With a swift command, he directed Crobat to evade the incoming flames with a sudden dive into the ground from its flight. The Fire-type attack narrowly missed its mark as Crobat dodged and weaved through the fiery onslaught with expert precision.

"Not bad, Crobat," Koga praised, his voice calm and collected. "Now, retaliate with a Poison Fang!"

Crobat responded with a swift dive towards Charizard, its fangs glowing with a toxic purple hue. With lightning-fast speed, it aimed to sink its venomous teeth into Charizard's tough hide, hoping to poison its opponent and gain the upper hand in battle.

But Archer wasn't about to let his guard down. "Dodge and counter with Dragon Claw, Charizard!"

With a slight back dodge, Charizard narrowly avoided Crobat's Poison Fang attack, then retaliated with a powerful swipe of its claws infused with Dragon-type energy.

BANG

The attack struck true, hitting Crobat with enough force to send it reeling back into the ground.

BOOOOM

"Charizard, let's finish this with a powerful Dragon Pulse!" Archer commanded, his voice filled with determination.

With a mighty roar, Charizard summoned a swirling vortex of draconic energy, gathering it into a concentrated orb between its claws and the fangs of his open mouth. The Dragon Pulse pulsed with raw power, ready to unleash devastation upon its target.

But Koga remained unfazed. With a calm ninja, he assessed the situation and formulated his strategy. "Crobat, intercept the Dragon Pulse with a well-timed Air Cutter!"

BOOM

BOOOM

BOOOM

With a swift flap of its wings, the grounded Crobat launched a barrage of razor-sharp winds toward the incoming Dragon Pulse. The two attacks collided in a spectacular clash of elemental forces, sending shockwaves rippling across the battlefield.

The tension in the gym reached its peak as the two powerful attacks battled for supremacy. Each trainer watched with bated breath.

BOOOOOOM

CROOOOOOOOOOOOO

CHaRRRRR

Charizard's Dragon Pulse overpowered Crobat's Air Cutter and struck true on the bat. The force of the impact sent Crobat grounded and skidding across the ground.

BOOOOOM

The Impact sent dust flying into the field.

CHARRRRRR

Soon, As the dust settled, Charizard emerged victorious.

The crowd erupted into cheers as Charizard landed gracefully on the battlefield, its chest heaving with exertion but its fiery spirit burning brighter than ever.

While I was cheering for Archer, I heard Samantha say, "The true fight starts from now."

"Huh! What do you mean, Samantha?"

The woman bent slightly backwards, resting her upper body while setting her hair into a ponytail. She said, "The terrifying feature of Poison specialists is their poison. Especially Koga, who breeds his Pokémon's toxins to aid each other's potency."

She then pointed out that Charizard's legs were turning purple. "Each battle that takes longer, the more potent the poison and stronger will be the effect of his moves. While Archer's Pokémon grows weaker."

As if to prove her words, The battle took a drastic turn.

It started when Koga unleashed his Muk onto the battlefield. The massive Poison-type Pokémon emerged with a menacing aura, its toxic sludge dripping from its massive form and seeping into the ground below.

"Charizard, watch out!" Archer shouted; his voice filled with urgency to my surprise.

SIZZZLE

SIZZZLE

But before Charizard could react, Muk began to spread its toxic sludge across the battlefield, creating a fog filled with noxious fumes and poisonous gases.

WHOOOOSH

CRACKE SIZZLE

It was so much that in a few seconds, the ground beneath Charizard's feet became increasingly unstable, making it difficult for the fiery Pokémon to maintain its footing. So, it took it to the air.

CHARRRR

I watched streaks of wing attacks from Charizard push through the fog, with a few roars of Flame thrower.

ROOOR

ROAARRR

Koga was simply silent, as Muk kept releasing Smoke Screen with toxic, to thicken the fog making Charizard effects futile. As expected of Koga, the poison fumes are dense enough to resist wing attacks.

I gulped thinking of the rumours of his strongest poison, capable of turning a city into a poison swamp.

CHARRRR

Despite Charizard's efforts to push through the toxic miasma, the poisonous fumes began to take their toll, weakening the fire attacks with each passing moment.

SIZZLE

Sludge bomb after another appeared from the smoke and fog.

SIIIZZLE

Muk's relentless assault left Charizard struggling to breathe, its tail flames flickering dangerously as it fought to stay airborne.

"Charizard, we can't give up now!" Archer cried out, his voice strong and heavy as he urged his Pokémon to keep fighting.

"Charizard, brute force the battle."

CHARRRIII

Charizard roared as the flames spun around him, giving him brief respite. He used the rotating force of Fire Spin to cover himself in a flaming vortex and flew down onto the fog containing the Muk.

WHROOOOM

WHRRROMMM

I felt my breath stop, as the battlefield that was shrouded in a thick haze of poisonous fumes, making it nearly impossible to see or navigate. Soon I saw, a small bright spot in the fog, turning bigger and bigger by the second until it exploded into a bright glow of flames.

BOOOSSSHH

BAMMMMM

BAAM

I could feel the ground slightly tremble as the battlefield cleared. The answer came to my mouth before my mind, "Fuck, yeah."

Everyone can see Muk unconscious. The referee on cue declared, "Muk lost the battle. Gym leader Koga, please send the next Pokémon."

Koga took his Muk back while giving a nod of approval to the Charizard, who was getting weaker by the second, barely on his knees but the fire pokemon still held on solely to give Archer the advantage of knowing Koga's next Pokémon.

"Gym leader Koga, please send the next Pokémon."

While the waiting strategy was irritating, it is valid and honourable for his fallen Pokémon to use their traces to weaken the opponent. It is characteristic of Poison Pokémon that help even beyond their defeat. The weaker Charizard gets the better for him.

"After the count of 10, if the gym leader doesn't send his Pokémon out, then the winner will be the challenger."

"10"

"9".

.

.

"2"

Koga then sent out Weezing, the gaseous Pokémon let out fumes of Poison as soon as it came out.

DING

Archer immediately took back Charizard. "Good job, buddy, you truly grew up. As soon as the circuit was over, let's go back to your family."

He then turned to the Weezing and chose Kleavor. "Come out, Buddy."

The crowd screamed in wonder as the only Kleavor, at least officially according to the league, was sent out by Archer.

Kleavor's rock armour shined while blades sang against each other to draw sparks while sharpening his blades with Sword Dance.

----------------Part-3 -------

Jon's Pov [Author: Get lost already, fucking fanboys. Faggots]

As Kleavor took its place on the battlefield, the air crackled with anticipation. Its imposing figure and razor-sharp blades gleamed in the dim light of the gym, a stark contrast to the toxic fog that reformed under Weezing.

No wonder, the Weezing line is called the core of Poison ecology. In a second, the fog sent away by Charizard is back. As for its potency, I do not doubt Koga in that.

KLEAVVV

As each of its blades clashed under Sword dance, Kleavor silently looked at Wheezing.

CLANG

CLANH

Koga's Weezing responded with a menacing release of smoke, its balloon form undulating with poisonous fuel energy. The Poison-type Pokémon seemed unfazed by the daunting presence of its opponent, ready to unleash its deadly arsenal of toxic attacks.

The referee wasted no time in starting the next round of battle, his voice echoing across the gym as he gave the command to begin.

"Let the battle between Kleavor and Weezing commence!"

With a roar of determination, Kleavor lunged forward, its blades glinting in the dim light as it charged toward its opponent. The ground trembled beneath its massive form, each step reverberating with power and speed.

Fucking hell, I have seen everything a Rock-type brute running at a blinding speed.

But Weezing was quick to respond, unleashing a torrent of Venoshock in Kleavor's direction. The toxic fumes sizzled toward the approaching Rock/Bug-type Pokémon, threatening to engulf it in a noxious cloud.

"Kleavor, use Stone Edge to break through the gas!" Archer commanded, his voice filled with confidence.

THUD

THUD

With a powerful swipe of its blades, Kleavor summoned a barrage of razor-sharp stones from the ground, sending them hurtling toward the oncoming cloud of poison gas. The stones ate away through the toxic liquid with ease, creating a safe path for Kleavor to advance.

SIZZZLE

SIZZZLE

As Kleavor pressed forward, Weezing countered with a barrage of Sludge Bombs, launching spheres of toxic sludge at its opponent with deadly accuracy. The poisonous projectiles exploded upon impact, sending waves of noxious energy rippling through the air.

But Kleavor refused to back down.

KLEAAVVVV

With a mighty roar, it charged through the barrage of Sludge Bombs head-on, even with the poison sizzling at its rock armour, its blades flashing as it closed the final foot between itself and Weezing.

"Kleavor, use Stone axe!" Archer commanded, his voice ringing out with authority.

THUUD

THUD

With bangs of stones around his slash, Kleavor unleashed his signature move, its blades cutting through the air with surgical precision, dragging the ground with him.

SLASH

The Stones dragged with the attack and continued forward from the slash opened.

BANG

BANG

BANG

BANG

Each strike landed with devastating force, chipping away at Weezing's defences and pushing it back with each successive blow.

SIZZZZLE

SIZZZLE

Looking at the stones falling with half-melted shapes, I realized only now that the Weezing is using Toxic armour. You see, the defence of armour is usually depending on the Toxicity of poison.

But the freaky defence of Weezing sends chills down my spine, especially reminding me of the potency of the poison responsible for the defence.

KLEAVVV

"Smokescreen."

WHOOOSH

As Kleavor attacked his way through the smoke, I noticed that the toxic environment began to take its toll. The noxious fumes emitted by Weezing's attacks filled the air, making it increasingly difficult for the Rock/Bug-type Pokémon to breathe.

Despite its efforts, Kleavor soon found itself struggling to withstand the poisonous atmosphere, its movements growing sluggish as the toxins seeped into its body.

With each passing moment, Weezing's advantage became more apparent. The Poison-type Pokémon, though weakened, continued to press its assault, unleashing a relentless barrage of toxic attacks that further exacerbated Kleavor's condition.

The once-imposing Rock-type Pokémon now staggered under his heavyweight, his strength sapped with each breadth of noxious fumes.

KLEAA

DING

"Kleavor, return," Archer said, his voice tinged with regret as he withdrew his Pokémon from the battlefield. "You fought valiantly, my friend. Rest now."

As Kleavor vanished into its Poké Ball, the crowd from our side fell silent, the weight of defeat hanging heavy in the air. Even as Weezing stood victorious, its form battered and bruised from the fierce battle, it was clear that the victory had come at a cost. The Poison-type Pokémon swayed unsteadily on its feet, its energy reserves depleted.

With the battlefield still thick with toxic fumes and the ground tainted by poison, Archer knew he had to act swiftly. Despite the adverse conditions, he remained resolute, his determination unwavering as he surveyed the scene before him.

"Alright, Eevee, it's your turn," Archer called out, his voice ringing out with confidence despite the tense atmosphere. "Let's show them what you're made of."

In response to his command, Archer's Eevee emerged from its Poké Ball with a determined expression, its fur bristling with anticipation. Though small in stature, the Normal-type Pokémon exuded small mews, ready to face the fight with a wink.

"AWW, So cute."

"I want one, Daddy."

"Sure, baby. But you will have one. But we will have some fun night, today."

"Mommy, that sister from next door is calling that old man, daddy. But, he is not the uncle."

"It is love and money, child. Look at the beautiful Eevee. it is cute, isn't it?"

"Yes, Mommy, when I become a trainer, I will catch one."

As Eevee took its place on the battlefield opposite the battered Wheezing, a hush fell over the crowd, the spectators watching intently as the next stage of the battle unfolded.

"Alright, Wheezing, let's finish this," Koga said, his voice filled with determination despite the exhaustion evident in his Pokémon's movements. "Use Sludge Bomb!"

Wheezing responded with a final burst of energy, summoning its remaining strength to launch a powerful Sludge Bomb at Eevee. The toxic attack hurtled through the air with deadly accuracy, aiming to overwhelm its opponent with its poisonous payload.

But Archer was prepared. "Eevee, use Quick Attack to dodge, then follow up with Swift!"

BANG

BANG

BANG

With a burst of speed, Eevee darted out of the path of the oncoming Sludge Bomb, narrowly avoiding the toxic attack. In the blink of an eye, it closed the distance between itself and Wheezing, launching a flurry of stars with Swift that rained down upon the Poison-type Pokémon.

The Swift attack struck true, hitting Wheezing with pinpoint accuracy despite its best efforts to evade. With each hit, the Poison-type Pokémon staggered under the onslaught, its strength waning with each passing moment.

"Finish it with Double-Edge, Evee!" Archer commanded, his voice filled with determination.

Eevee nodded, its eyes gleaming with determination as it gathered its strength for the final blow. With a fierce cry, it charged forward, its body surrounded by a glowing aura as it prepared to unleash its most powerful attack.

THUUUF

BANG

With a final burst of energy, Eevee slammed into Wheezing with incredible force, the impact sending shockwaves rippling through the battlefield.

As the battle reached its climax, Koga knew he had to make a bold move to turn the tide in his favour. With a determined gleam in his eye, he issued his final command to Wheezing.

"Wheezing, use Explosion!"

BOOOOM

The crowd gasped in shock as Wheezing unleashed its devastating final attack, engulfing the battlefield in a blinding explosion of energy. The force of the blast rippled through the air, shaking the ground beneath their feet and sending shockwaves reverberating through the gym.

A chorus of gasps and murmurs rippled through the crowd, the female spectators voicing their outrage at Koga's ruthless tactics. Curses and jeers echoed through the gym as they condemned the Gym Leader for his callous disregard for the well-being of the adorable Pokémon.

"BITCH, Koga."

"Fucking asshole."

"What do you expect from a ninja? Murderers."

All of that stopped with a single glance towards the crowd from Koga. I choked with that as if I could feel that he was ready to kill if this stupidity continued. I felt like screaming bullshit but the wetness in my pants says otherwise.

But just when it seemed the battle ended with a Pokemon death, a miraculous sight unfolded before their eyes.

THUD

THUD

I found the stones were pushed aside one by one. The ground showed cracks.

With a mischievous smile, Eevee emerged from the wreckage, its fur slightly singed but otherwise unharmed.

GASPPP

Cheers erupted throughout the gym as the spectators gaped at Eevee's turnaround

CLAAP

CLAPPP

The Pokémon preened under the attention of the crowd, basking in their admiration and adoration.

EVEEEEE

Even Koga couldn't help but crack a smile at the unexpected turn of events, impressed by the plucky Pokémon's jumps of joy.

I couldn't help but voice out, "How is that possible?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Archer's Pov

It was a good decision to teach the princess- Dig.

Koga, undeterred by the draw, calmly selected his next Pokémon with a knowing smile.

"Very well, Challenger Archer. Prepare yourself for the next challenge," Koga announced, his voice carrying a hint of confidence as he reached for his Poké Ball.

With a flick of his wrist, Koga released his next Pokémon onto the battlefield. A flick that made me remember the famous red-eyed shinobi in my previous life anime.

As Vileplume emerged onto the battlefield, I felt a surge of adrenaline course through me. The toxic aroma of its petals filled the air, a stark reminder of the formidable opponent we faced. Despite the daunting presence of Koga's Vileplume, I remained steadfast in my resolve.

"Eevee, let's show them what we're made of," I called out, my voice echoing with determination as I sent my loyal Pokémon into battle.

Eevee stood before Vileplume, its gaze unwavering and its determination evident in every fibre of its being. With a defiant bark, it prepared to face its opponent head-on, ready to give it its all in battle.

The two Pokémon locked eyes, a silent challenge passing between them as they prepared to clash. Sensing an opening, Vileplume wasted no time in launching its first attack, its petals glowing with ominous energy.

"Eevee, dodge and retaliate with Quick Attack!" I commanded, my voice filled with urgency as I urged my Pokémon to evade the incoming assault.

With lightning-fast reflexes, Eevee darted to the side, narrowly avoiding Vileplume's Razor Leaf attack. Seizing the opportunity, it launched a rapid counterattack, its movements swift and precise as it delivered a powerful blow to Vileplume's side.

But Vileplume was not deterred, its resolve unshaken as it prepared its next move.

"Stay focused, Eevee! It's using Petal Dance!" I warned, my voice tinged with concern as I watched the swirling vortex of petals form around Vileplume.

Eevee braced itself for the incoming onslaught, its eyes narrowed in concentration. With a powerful spin, Vileplume unleashed a whirlwind of razor-sharp petals, each one aimed directly at Eevee with deadly accuracy.

WHOOOSH

WHOOOSH

"Dodge and counter with Double-Edge, Eevee!" I commanded, my voice filled with determination as I urged my Pokémon to evade the barrage of petals.

Waiting till the last minute, my girl made a graceful leap into the sky. Worthy of hours and weeks invested in her training.

Eevee narrowly avoided the onslaught, then launched itself forward with unwavering resolve. Its body glowed with a brilliant light as it delivered a powerful Double-edged attack, striking Vileplume with unyielding force.

BANGGGGGVGGGGG

The impact sent Vileplume staggering backwards, its petals wilting slightly from the force of the blow. But it quickly bounced back to shape, I could only say, "You got to admire the grass types of flexibility."

EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Evee's cries made me realise that it became apparent that victory would not come easily. The poison is spread throughout her body already. Her fur changed to a bluish-purple shade from the poison.

Fuck my stupid decision to not tried to increase her poison immunity in her breeding. I just thought it would not be much, but it is biting my ass quite painfully.

"Stay strong, Eevee! We can do this!" I called out, my voice filled with determination as I urged my Pokémon to keep fighting.

But despite our best efforts, it soon became clear that victory was beyond our grasp.

EVEEEEEEEEEEEEE

The poison got to her causing her to stop in exhaustion, an opening that is fully exploited by the shinobi.

"Vileplume, use this chance to end the battle."

A powerful Solar Beam was charged under the despairing gaze of the weakened Eevee, Vileplume petals glowing with radiant energy.

"Attack."

With a final, decisive blow, Vileplume unleashed a powerful Solar Beam

BOOOM

BOOOM

The impact sent Eevee crashing across the ground, its body battered and bruised from the force of the impact.

Small drops of blood split forming patches of red dots on the ground.

The crowd, both mine and Koga's supporters watched in stunned silence as the battle came to an end, their hearts like mine, heavy with sorrow at the sight of Eevee's defeat.

But even in defeat, Eevee had proven itself. Because even as Eevee lay there, I couldn't help but feel happy seeing her progress in Pokemon battle. Trust the Eevee before Zapdos is not even capable of being in this fight. Now, she is improving at the same pace as the rest of the team.

---------Part 4, the End------------

With a determined look in my eyes, I knew it was time to change the tide of battle. As Vileplume stood before us, still reeling from the double edge from Eevee, I made my move.

"Annihilape, it's your time to shine." I declared, my voice ringing out with confidence as I sent out my trusty Annihilape.

The ape Pokémon emerged onto the battlefield, its ghostly form shimmering while the muscular body was pure strength.

ANNNIIHHHILLLLL

With a fierce roar, it prepared to face its opponent head-on, ready to unleash the rage in battle.

"Annihilape, show them what you're made of!" I called out, my voice filled with strength as I urged my Pokémon to give focus to his anger. After all, the old guys are the ones who spoiled the princess the most.

Annihilape wasted no time in springing into action, its feet bursting with energy as it towards Vileplume in a single leap.

BANG

Vileplume used Petal dance on the approaching ape, but I grinned at the move.

WHOOOOSH

"Fire Punch!" I commanded, my voice ringing out with authority as I urged my Pokémon to unleash its fiery rage fire upon Vileplume.

With lightning-fast reflexes, Annihilape launched a series of punches at the Petals, each one more powerful than the last. Growing hotter each second.

BOOOM

BOOOM

BOOOOOM

I saw that Annihiape stopped the combo and planted his feet hard into the ground, making it crack from the force. In a single blink of an eye, the fire fist was pulled all the way back, becoming bigger. Well, he swung it.

BOOOOOOOOOOOM

With a powerful swing of his fist, Annihilape unleashed a blazing inferno upon its opponent, the flames engulfing Vileplume in a sea of fire. It says something about his punch philosophy, that his fire punch is mastered to the level of customizing it easily.

CRACKLE

CRACKLE

The intense heat caused Vileplume to recoil in pain, its petals wilting slightly from the intense heat.

"Vileplume Protect."

While the green-protected Vileplume, But Annihilape wasn't done yet. With a swift motion, it followed up its Fire Punch with another punch.

BANG

Then, another.

HE keeps going on and on.

BANG

In 10 seconds, he must have punched dozens of fire punches. This Annihilape's true power, punching until the point of death over decades has him become a living ideology of punching.

Among the crackles of fire sparks, I heard a different one.

CLUCK

I saw that the one end of Annihilape's fur froze in place, with a roar. The fire punch was followed by the Ice punch.

BOOOOM

I could the cold of its fist sending shivers down Vileplume's spine, which was suffering from heat till now.

"Ice Punch!" I commanded; my voice filled with determination as I urged my Pokémon to unleash its icy onslaught upon its opponent.

CLUNG BOOM-Ice

CRACKLE BOOOM- Fire

CLUNG BOOM-Ice

CRACKLE BOOOM- Fire

The sheer difference in moves broke the air with steam, forming a chain of miniature explosions. Annihiaple was lifted into the air from the rebound force from the alternating attack on protection.

ROOOOOAR

Annihilape with a roar brought both of his fists together above his head.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

The combination of fire and ice was too much for Vileplume to handle, and with a half-frozen and half-burnt body, it collapsed to the ground in defeat.

ROAARRRR

The crowd erupted into cheers as Anniliape emerged victorious, its fists raised high in triumph. Each has a different glow, one fire and another ice.

As I watched Anniliape bask in the adoration of the crowd, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride swell within me. After all, it is difficult to use multiple type moves consecutively, much less the opposing types.

The only reason it was possible is because of the old guy's dedication during the Primeape stage, a craziness that I found out of pure luck. Each punch move is learned by disregarding the wear and tear of conflicting moves on his body.

I exploited his ghostly body and fighting type with the help of Rotomdex scans and AI processing to make this feat possible.

My aim is to one day make him capable of using all the Punches in his arsenal in a single combo, though it might be tough considering months of work till now only chained two types of punches.

But I will aim for it and fulfil his lifetime philosophy of punching at a problem until it goes away. In a way, the old guy punched away death to evolve into his current form.

Koga took back the Vileplume and finally seemed to have acknowledged me, "That punch combo is impressive. Albeit dangerous, impressive nonetheless."

I felt a surge of happiness at that, after all, everyone likes their efforts to be praised and replied to the gym leader, "Thank you, sir."

"Good, I can see you are already worthy for the Indigo conference, but duty always calls, and I answer it."

With a flick of his hand, a Pokeball swirled around the battlefield onto Annihilape who punched it out in irritation and opened it to release the signature Pokemon of Koga.

As Venomous emerged onto the battlefield, its mandibles released poison fumes while the fangs held a purplish hue.

"Anniliape, burn them away!" I called out, my voice filled with the command to be ready.

Anniliape responded with a fierce roar, its fists clenched tightly as the fire burned up, forming a small barrier of flames around him

But before he could make a move, Venomouth released bursts of poison powder that were swung with its wings. The intensity of Poison reached new levels almost forming a thick purple mist. Fuck the battlefield is like a purple paint coated with paint. I could only see Purple

"Annihilape, watch out."

WHOOOOSH

The bug pokemon flew with blinding speed from my ape's blind spot reminiscent of a ninja, unleashing a powerful Zen Headbutt that sent Annihilape crashing into the ground.

BANG

I watched in horror as Annihilape disappeared into the dust from the impact of the psychic move.

I could only try my best to focus as the various sounds were heard in the mist.

BAHD

BANF BOOOM

Having enough of this, I called out, "Annihiape get out of there now."

Soon, I saw a shadow rushing like a snake through the ground appear in my vision. Slowly Annihilape's body appeared as the Phantom force lost its effect.

I looked over Annihiaple and found that aside from a few scratches and some swelling on his hands, he was fine. In terms of fast-paced combat, Annihiaple is the best.

Before I could say anything Annihilape disappeared with a single jump, only to reappear in the edge mist. On further narrowing of my vision, I saw that he managed to appear behind Venomouth in a flash of darkness.

ROOOAAAARRRR

Before Venomouth could react, Annihilape unleashed a series of Rage Fists, each blow striking true and sending shockwaves rippling through the battlefield.

But to my surprise, Venomouth proved to be a formidable opponent, using its Protect move to block Anniliape's attacks with ease.

BANG

BANG

BANG

I saw Annihilaple changing the punch moves, even going as far as to search for the weak spots in Protect. Unfortunately, the Protect orb is strengthening just at the part that is defending Annihiape's punches. Impressive skill.

Despite Anniliape's best efforts, Venomouth seemed to have an answer for every move, its defences holding strong against even the most powerful of attacks.

Slowly the punches onslaught stopped. Annihiaple heaved for a few seconds to control his breathing and jumped back to the boundary of the field.

And then, to my shock, Anniliape gave his opponent a nod and stepped back from the battlefield, disqualifying itself from the match.

Confusion and concern filled my mind as I watched Anniliape retreat, but it wasn't long before I understood its intentions.

With a knowing look, Anniliape pointed towards Beedrill's Poké Ball, making it clear that it believed Beedrill should be the one to get the victory.

I nodded in agreement, with a smile on my face. Knowing that Beedrill was more than capable of finishing what Anniliape had started, especially after Venomouth was brought to the same exhaustion as Beedrill.

I released Beedrill onto the battlefield, "Beedrill, let's start strong with a Poison Jab!"

DING

The referee called out, "Let the match begin."

Beedrill wasted no time, its needle-like arms gleaming with venomous intent as it darted forward with blinding speed. With precise accuracy, it aimed its Poison Jab at Venomouth, hoping to catch the opponent off guard with its initial strike.

Good decision, because both Pokemon are exhausted. Beedrill has a chance to rest in Pokeball. I am happy, since Beedrill even from the stage of weedle, was always interested in strategy and looked at all battles, dissecting them in his mind. A good trait for an assassin like Pokemon likes him.

But Koga was prepared for the assault and Venomouth is not slow. With a quick command, Venomouth evaded Beedrill's attack with a graceful sidestep, its movements fluid and calculated.

"Venomouth, strike back with a Sludge Bomb!" Koga countered, his voice calm but determined as he issued his command.

SIZZLLEEE

Venomouth responded with a fierce cry, summoning a swirling mass of toxic sludge within its gaping maw. With a powerful thrust, it launched the Sludge Bomb towards Beedrill, aiming to overwhelm its opponent with the corrosive substance.

But Beedrill was also not slow. With a deft manoeuvre, it evaded the Sludge Bomb, narrowly dodging the attack as it continued to close the distance between itself and Venomouth.

As the battle raged on, both Pokémon exchanged blows using their stingers with impressive skill and agility. Beedrill's rapid movements and precise strikes were met with Venomouth's powerful poison fangs, each clash sending shockwaves rippling across the gym floor.

But amidst the chaos of battle, Beedrill saw an opportunity caused by the slight exhaustion from Venomouth's previous battle with Annihiape.

With his strategic mind, it manoeuvred around Venomouth, while expertly encircling the opponent in a web of sticky threads in a second.

SLICK

SLICK

SLICK

With Venomouth ensnared in Beedrill's sticky threads, I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride. This was the culmination of all the hard work and training we had put in together.

"Like a true assassin, time to end your opponent stuck in a trap with its blade," I remarked with a mirthful grin. "GIGA IMPACT!"

WHRROOOOM

Beedrill responded to my command with a fierce determination, channelling all of its energy into one final, devastating attack. With a deafening roar, it charged forward at incredible speed, its pointed stingers gleaming in the dim light of the gym.

VEEENOOOO

Venomouth struggled against the confines of Beedrill's strings, but it was too late.

BOOOMMMM

BOOOOM

With a powerful impact, Beedrill's Giga Impact struck true, slamming into Venomouth with unstoppable force.

THUUUUD

The force of the blow sent Venomouth crashing to the ground, defeated and unable to continue the battle. As the dust settled, Beedrill stood victorious, its chest heaving with exertion but its spirit unbroken.

The crowd erupted into cheers as the referee declared Beedrill the winner of the intense battle. I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride as I watched my Pokémon bask in the glory of their hard-earned victory.

"Great job, Beedrill!" I exclaimed, rushing forward to congratulate my loyal companion. "You truly showed them what you're made of."
