-----Archer's pov----------------
-----Back to fuchsia city--------
-------- Fuchsia international Airport------
As Samantha headed to the ticket counter to book our flights, I took a moment to consider our next destination.
"Book the tickets to Snowpoint City. From there we will leave for Celestic town."
Snowpoint City seemed like the perfect choice, from there a hired RV to make the trip to the Celestic Town for the Scientific Fair and Techno Expo.
My initial plans of slowly using my team to win the tournament went out of the winds as Dregen jumped me with his death.
So, I can no longer afford to raise all my Pokemon from the ground up, especially with the tournament championship in mind but at the same time, I don't want to compromise my team lineup.
While Dragonair is a good addition, I still need to build up the team. There are still two Pokemon I need with the aim of the championship in mind, one of which I have been aiming for as soon I read the letter.
That is the reason for the expedition to the area around Snowpoint City. I have to get that Pokemon in Mountain seen in an anime, considering his steel typing and the metal deposit near the Snowpoint city, I narrowed it down to 4 mountains.
Then on further narrowing of lack of snow and town near it. I found its location halfway between Snow Point and Eterna City.
I am fucking sure because, three episodes were burned in my mind when I watched the anime, The mirage mansion, the other two were about my perspective Pokemon.
[Author's note: This point is real guys, even after years I remembered these episodes. I just like them, I guess.]
It was an opportunity I couldn't miss, not to forget the importance of science fairs considering my recent discoveries and inventions. So, I had to squeeze the last two gyms in a month, to make time for this trip.
Approaching the receptionist, I inquired about flights to Snowpoint City and explained our plans to attend the upcoming expo. The receptionist, a friendly woman with a warm smile, nodded along as she processed our request.
"Ah, Snowpoint City! A beautiful destination, especially this time of year," she remarked, her fingers flying across the keyboard as she checked for available flights.
The receptionist showed her presence of mind by hearing my talk with Samantha and showed her talent.
"Oh, my goodness! you're attending the Scientific Fair in Celestic Town?"
I nodded back with a hint of pride that coupled well with my suit. I believe that I am looking quite striking right now. The receptionist's widening smile felt like proof of my belief, "Well, you're in luck! We have a special promotion running right now. If you book your return flight to Kanto right now, you'll receive a 15% discount."
I paused to consider her offer, weighing the benefits of booking the return flight in advance. After a brief moment of thinking, I made my decision.
"That sounds like a great deal. We'll take it!" I said, flashing a grateful smile at the receptionist.
Looking at her return smile, I am happy that the scars from the bird didn't extend to my face. Otherwise, I would have had a return scream.
I felt the scars twitch in irritation at the reminder of that Bird. Fucking bitch. One day for sure, I will roast it down and eat it alive.
---------After an hour-----
With our return flight to Pewter City secured, I felt a sense of relief since our travel plans were in order.
As we made our way to the departure gate, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. After all, the next time, I set foot in Kanto, I will return with a researcher title.
WHROOOM
As our plane taxied down the runway and took off into the sky, I couldn't help but marvel at the bustling city of Fuchsia below us.
Known for its thriving chemical industries, advanced medical facilities, and unknown to the majority of the populace, A major base of Team Rocket. Contrasting to all these, it has the most beautiful greenery.
All in all, Fuchsia City was a good sight to see.
The city faded into the distance, and we soared towards Snowpoint.
===========================================
Snowpoint City, Sinnoh
After we arrived in the picturesque snow-covered city of Snowpoint, we made our way through the bustling airport. The chilly air nipped at our cheeks as we stepped outside, greeted by the sight of numerous taxis and rental vehicles lined up along the curb.
Samantha and I surveyed our options, taking in the array of vehicles available for hire. From sleek sedans to rugged off-road vehicles, there was no shortage of choices. However, it was the All-Terrain RV that caught my eye—a sturdy beast of a vehicle tinted in sleek black and shimmering silver.
After one look at that and our group of dozen, I put Samantha to the task.
"Excuse me, sir," Samantha began, her tone polite but determined. "We need transportation to Celestic Town, and your RV seems like the perfect fit for our group."
The owner, a burly man with a friendly demeanour, nodded in agreement. "That's right, ma'am. You are a smart woman. My RV is equipped to handle any terrain, from icy roads to rugged mountain paths. You won't find a more reliable vehicle for your journey."
I just tuned out the rest of the discussions. Say what you want, beautiful women have an advantage in bargaining. Though it is essential they some brains.
Samantha flashed the driver a charming smile, while slowly sipping on the hot chocolate, her sweet voice coming into play. "Well, that's exactly what we need. But I must say, the price you're quoting seems a bit high. We're seasoned trainers, you see, and we'll be travelling safely through Route 217 and 216. With our skills, there's no need to worry about any accidents or mishaps."
To help prove her point I let out Dragonair, a pseudo legendary had the driver gawking at me proving Samantha's point.
I internally whistled as Samantha bargained the price into half.
The owner considered her words for a moment before relenting. "Well, I suppose I can offer you a discount, given your assurances of safety. But I'll need to cover my costs, you understand."
Samantha grinned triumphantly, her negotiation skills paying off once again. "Sir. We appreciate your understanding. Now, about that discount…"
After a few minutes of back-and-forth, Samantha emerged victorious, securing a significant discount on the reduced rental price.
With a satisfied smile, she motioned for me to join her as we climbed aboard the All-Terrain RV, ready for the travel. I am sure she put extra sway in her ass for the owner to watch.
As we set off into the snowy landscape, I couldn't help but feel a beautiful smart woman would eat you up with a terrifying result- You will either thank her/apologize to her while begging on the street. If you don't understand this, then I can only say you will understand in the future, my child.
-----------------Riverview Town---------------
As the RV rumbled along the winding road of Route 216, I couldn't help but be captivated by the ever-changing scenery. From the pristine snow-capped peaks of Mount Coronet to the lush greenery of the gradually descending terrain, each passing mile brought with it a sense of wonder and anticipation.
In the distance, the hazy silhouette of Mount Coronet is visible, its presence a constant reminder to me, of the legendary Pokémon said to reside within its depths.
Despite the distance, a desire ignited within me, to one day journey to the summit.
However, such craziness was tempered by the harsh reality of my current status.
I was far from being considered an Elite Trainer, let alone worthy of challenging the legendary Pokémon that called Mount Coronet home. The memory of my encounter with Zapdos, and the scars it left behind, all but fucked away any such desires.
CLANG
Lost in my thoughts, I was jolted back to reality as the RV came to a stop.
I looked around to see that we had arrived in the centre of Riverview town.
"All right, Derek get the luggage. Sam, come with me to the Hotel reception to book the rooms."
Samantha, ever the efficient one, wasted no time in organizing accommodations for our group.
It was done in the span of a cup of tea.
Turning to Samantha, I asked, "Is there any place famous for noodles near here? It should have a chef who is a teenager but passionate about cooking."
Samantha furrowed her brow in confusion, clearly puzzled by my request. "Huh? I'm not sure, but I'll look into it. Give me ten minutes."
As Samantha set off to investigate, I observed Derek leading the bodyguards in a cautious formation around me. Despite the picturesque surroundings, the ever-present need for security reminded me of my current position. The position I took voluntarily albeit with a little force from the dead.
I shook my head to clear my thoughts and concentrated on the guy who was in this town. I know from Canon, that his appearance is in the same episode in which the Pokemon I wanted appeared.
Might as well make proper use of my knowledge.
Samantha returned with news of the noodle shop, I couldn't help but feel a hunger pang to eat some noodles.
Making our way to the roadside stand under Samantha's guidance, my senses were immediately assailed by the tantalizing aroma of spices wafting through the air and the rhythmic clanging of pans.
Approaching the stand, I noticed the sign proudly displaying the name "Jessie and James Noodle Shop," a reminder that poked my past life memory about the infamous Team Rocket duo.
According to Samantha's intel, the owner, Christopher, had transitioned from being a chef in a restaurant to running his successful noodle stand over the past two years.
As far as I know, he is a team rocket trainee who excused himself from the syndicate and came back to Sinnoh, under the encouragement of Jessie and James to pursue his passion for cooking.
As we drew closer, I couldn't help but notice the curious glances from the crowd, undoubtedly curious by our group filled with suits. Ignoring the attention, I focused on the cap-wearing teenager behind the counter, who tensed slightly at our approach.
"I want enough food for all of us, including our Pokémon," I stated lazily, gesturing to the assortment of Pokémon gathered around us.
Despite his initial apprehension, the teenager's face broke into a bright smile as I took a seat at one of the makeshift tables. With practised ease, looked at us warmly, seemingly unfazed by the presence of our Pokémon.
The teenager nodded enthusiastically, His smile never faltering. "It will be done,"

------Riverview town, Noodle stand-----
Leaning back in my chair, I savoured the delicious dishes before me, from succulent chicken strips to juicy steaks and mouth-watering noodles.
Christopher is a talented chef behind the counter. I saw that he was tirelessly cleaning dishes stacked high, a result of the hearty appetites of our group and our Pokémon companions. It was a sight to see, hundreds of plates staked high, a contribution from my Slaking and Samantha's Snorlax.
Ironically the next contributor in the ranking is our security head, Derek at 13 plates. Looking at his thin physique, I was forced to crush my rising jealousy. My body is a type that easily gains weight from 2 plates. But this fucker ate dozen and is happily drinking milkshakes.
"Thank you for the compliments, sir. I am happy with that, there is no need for tips. I am to live my dream of pursuing good food."
Looking at him, my curiosity peaked, and I couldn't resist the urge to ask Christopher about his journey of pursuing his dream. Unlike myself, whose dreams had been imposed upon me by dead circumstances, Christopher was wholeheartedly chasing his passion.
I wanted to know how it felt to be living your dream.
"How does it feel to pursue your dream?" I inquired, genuinely interested in his response.
CLANG
THUD
Christopher paused in his task, setting down a dish, as he contemplated my question. Suddenly, he sprang onto the tabletop, spreading his arms wide with excitement.
"It is the best thing in the world!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with infectious enthusiasm.
A smile crept onto my face at the sheer joy radiating from him. With his talent and passion, Christopher had the potential to go far. He did become a food tycoon in Canon.
That's when I decided to go forward with the idea that struck me when I landed in Sinnoh – why not invest in his future? After all, I need money and he is a suitable target.
Yes, I need money. Each plan of mine is money-sucking bitches, I never have enough money at this stage.
"Say, Christopher," I began, catching his attention. "Do you want to grow your business?"
Confusion flickered across his face as he processed my words. I continued, laying out my plan.
"I'll be staying in Sinnoh for a month, and during that time, I want you to be my chef. Don't worry, I'll pay you a salary that reflects your skills. And here's the kicker – if your cooking continues to impress me, I'll invest in your future. Imagine running an international chain of restaurants featuring your culinary creations within the next decade."
The offer hung in the air, and I could sense Christopher's excitement building as he took in the possibilities. With determination in his eyes, he nodded eagerly, " Yes, sir."
------------------------------------
The next day, The mountain beside Riverview town.
"..... So, what happened after your dad died, Sam?"
The questions ringing about the group's history in Christopher's voice faded into the background as I walked forward, surrounded by the guards, giving me a lazy trek.
Fuck the concept of going on the adventure alone. It was a pain in the ass. Now, I have proper peace with security, a cook, and a good stay.
Derek, at the forefront, is leading the way with his Arcanine and Ampharos clearing the wild Pokemon, while the rest of our group follows closely behind.
"Flamethrower."
"Thunderbolt."
"Flame wheel."
The silence at the mountain's peak was palpable, the sharp rocky terrain standing as a testament to nature's raw power. Samantha, who had been silent until now, broke the quiet with her question.
"So, what now?" she asked, her voice cutting through the stillness.
CRACK
CRACK
I pointed towards the sky, where a flying white rock suddenly split open to reveal a majestic sight – a Shiny Metagross. Its four hammer-like limbs and sleek golden cross mark on its face marked its Special nature.
I silently thanked my luck that this Pokémon hadn't yet become famous enough to have the mountain named after it.
WHOOSH
With lightning speed, Metagross descended to the ground, but instead of crashing, it started hovering just inches above the surface as it fixed its gaze directly on me. I could more or less guess that he was scanning the group's thoughts.
Stepping forward confidently, I called out, "Metagross, I am here to challenge you and convince you to join my team."
WHROOOOOMMM
I stood my ground as Metagross unleashed a Hyper Beam, though I didn't flinch as I sensed the attack wasn't aimed at me. After all this Pokemon species is known to be as smart as Supercomputers, so I believe he won't kill blatantly. That and the most important reason being Gardevior's nod at his good intentions.
As expected, the beam passed harmlessly by, striking the rocky walls of the terrain.
BOOOM
Metagross then projected its voice telepathically, demonstrating its intelligence.
"You are an interesting human," looking at everyone's confused looks he specified," I meant the one marked by the lightning one," it said.
"Let's see if you are capable enough to have such thoughts about me. After all, strength is the first prerequisite for even entertaining such thoughts."
I couldn't help but laugh at the remark, feeling the shock ripple through the rest of our group. Not all Psychic-type Pokémon can communicate with telepathy, and I could already envision using Metagross as a tutor or research assistant in Pokemon languages.
But the Pokémon's voice interrupted my thoughts once more, "Interesting thoughts," it mused.
With a confident smile, I released Electivire from its Poké Ball, ready to pummel the metal face in front of us.
The dragon types and pseudo-legendaries, all understand one common point and look at the same thing as their leader- Violence.
