Synopsis
Death. It began washing over the earth like a plague. The plague being the sudden appearance of powerful monsters, destroying cities and killing anyone that stood in their way. But when a young boy gets confronted by these monsters, he doesn’t run or feel an ounce of fear in the face of death. He wanted to die, he wished for it. His wish… Granted. But in death comes rebirth, a new opportunity. But very few that have died to the waves of monsters have been given the opportunity, the opportunity to reincarnate together to the ground zero of this multiversal disaster. To save that world and many worlds including their own. But the very same boy decides a new route for himself. A new route for a new life. One he would hope would be better than his last. Separating from the rest that reincarnates. Being the first to reincarnate. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning AI is used to make the images as I can't draw whatsoever and I'm too broke to hire an artist. This novel does contain gore and smut, but hopefully, the R18 tag insinuates that. I'm writing this for fun and while I do check over my work there may be some writing or grammatical errors. Very Sorry. Please feel free to support me or my work and any comments or questions I will try my best to reply to. This is my first ever proper work and my first contracted work so I hope you enjoy it! Chapter 1 - Ch 1 - The White Room

???: AHHHHHHHHHHH… Gggghhh.

The loud echoing screams rang out in the city. The city singing a symphony of screams with a choir of victims. The bass was the booming lighting in the sky, striking the ground and buildings. The sky coloured a bright orange hue with grey snow falling from it. The snow coating the floors in a thick soft blanket. The percussion, roars from the dancing flames gently hugging the building, as butterflies of embers danced around in the skies to the orchestra of chaos.

The tall skyscrapers grasped at the clouds for escape, crumbling like sandcastles. Giant creatures of monstrous appearances walking through them. The skies teaming with flying monsters and humans. Bodies fell from the sky smacking the ground as the grey blanket of ash was splatted red, the ash that covered the floor puffed further into the air colouring it red. All in line with the thunder booms that sounded.

The streets were full of people. Dead and alive. The dead came in all forms. Those that had been dried of all life and blood. Their grey skin accentuated the darker grey floor. Bodies that were cut in half or into small chunks dyed the puddles of water a dark crimson. Blood covered the walls with humans crushed against them. The bricks and concrete cracked, falling apart from the destruction. Other corpses were being grabbed and slowly eaten by the variety of creatures that walked down the streets. However, some weren't so lucky. Moans down darker alleys with even darker things hidden in them.

Those who were alive ran away. Their screams added to an already loud atmosphere of chaos. Tears fell from their living faces as women and men carried children, running away from the hordes of monstrous beings. Others such as police and military used their advanced weapons and equipment to fight back but it was meaningless. Throwing stones against a brick wall, the bullets flattened against the hard skin of the monsters. Some bullets didn't hit their targets. Black energy forming a hard transparent shell.

Others… others accepted their fate. Knowing that this was going to be their end. Whether it was because they couldn't run away fast enough or because their will was too weak to survive. They stopped running. Maybe it was futile or maybe they gave up their one chance at living. Or maybe they never knew what it meant to be alive in the first place.

A boy that couldn't be over 16 standing in the ash-covered street. The boy had a small stature. His clothes were torn and dirty. His eyes tired and his hair a mess. His nails were long and unkempt. A massive scar covered his entire face. A scar that could have only been formed from a broken bottle, the circular stabs obvious from the scar.

He looked at the horde of monsters as they marched like a rehearsed band. Walking through the piles of bodies and crushing cars.

A bald tall creature walked up to the boy as it looked down at him. The creature had grey skin similar to the fallen ash, sharp teeth that would put a shark to shame, and long claws. Its frame was long but skinny, the rung of his ribs all visible.

The boy looked up as his brown eyes met with the creature's yellow eyes. There was a small silence in between the two as the boy slowly raised his hand. In a quick motion, the boy slapped the creature and the creature looked back at the boy. The boy developed a small smile as the creature glared and clenched its jaw. The creature raised its hand to the boy's throat. But his smile didn't fade. The creature stabbed into the boy's throat as he coughed up blood. Falling to his side.

But his smile didn't fade. Blood filled his throat, falling from the wound and his mouth, he couldn't breathe. But yet his smile did not fade. The body slowly closed his eyes as he felt a sort of relief in his death. He felt free from the hardship life had given him. As he fell slowly into the darkness his shoulders became lighter, his body became looser, his body became colder and his mind more and more empty.

As he slowly slipped into the soft embrace of death. Death and darkness slowly guided his calm state as the boy enjoyed whatever this was. The afterlife, heaven, hell, the void. It didn't need a name for him. He just enjoyed the peace. His final and eternal peace.

But as he felt a small tug in his chest he tried to open his eyes. As they slowly opened they saw bright white lights. They weren't blinding, they were comfortable. The white lights shaped as people. He looked around and it was all white. The darkness he fell into was no longer there as he was now in a new white world. The white people like lights having a sort of panic to them as they moved around erratically.

But as he looked up he noticed something different. It wasn't this new white world or the white lights of people who seemed to be having a panic or crisis. It was something else. Hundreds of people high in the sky with white feathered wings. They were similar to that of a dove. But these weren't doves in the sky. These people all having blond hair and perfect features. Some male and some female. All dressed in white silk. Some in robes, others in dresses, some even in suits.

???: {Are they… angels? Did I get to heaven? I wasn't that great of a person though?}

The boy's thoughts were answered as he heard a voice in his head. And it seemed like everyone else did too as they all looked up to the angelic people flying still in the sky. As if they were standing on invisible platforms.

???: We are all truly sorry for our inadequacy. Your deaths are regrettable and not of your own fault. Your world has suffered an invasion that we are unable to stop. While we want to rectify it we are unable to.

The boy could see many people panicking and trying to speak. But nothing was coming out. Besides his thoughts and the gentle feminine voice the boy heard in his head, there were no other sounds. Did they have bodies to speak? The boy looked at his hands but he couldn't feel anything with his white hands. He couldn't smell nor hear with his ears. He couldn't taste with his tongue. He could only see the angels and hear the voice in his head.

???: So as angels and helpers of the goddess, we want to give you all an opportunity to not only have your own lives saved. But to save the lives of trillions on not only your own world but others. You see the invasion that is now plaguing your world comes from another. A world called Centiion. It is much like your fantasy books and entertainment. But this world is the source of the invasion. A world that you could call patient 0. A world that is currently suffering from a 1000-year-long war with the demon kingdom. Now I hear your thoughts. What has this got to do with you? I assure you this has everything to do with you. You all will be reincarnated into this world to aid the war effort, to stop the demon kingdom. While you can choose to live out the rest of your lives peacefully in this new world, unless the demon king is defeated you will never be able to return home. And I again hear your thoughts and worries. But you do have the power to help. Just think, status.

Everyone either looked around in confusion or began to do what the angel in their head said thinking, status. Some tried to say it out loud and not in their head. Both options worked as two screens popped in front of the boy's face.

The screens were a translucent blue and had an abundance of writing on them. They looked like a holographic screen you would see in Sci-Fi movies. One screen said.

???: You will be given the right to customise your new body. You will be able to choose your power, which you will have in your next life. This is a blessing only given to you 115 individuals. Whether you use this power wisely or otherwise is up to you. You can take all the time you need to customise your new body. But realise, when you're done and have confirmed this, you will lose this blessing to be so flexible with how you gain power. After confirming the completion of your customisation you will be transported to the new world Centiion. I as well as all the other angels wish you the best of luck in your future lives.

The boy looked around. While he couldn't see the screens he could see other people choosing already. Some picking fast and disappearing. He looked around as he looked back at his two screens. Slowly he sat down as his screens moved down with him.

While he may have not been good at knowing what all this fantasy stuff is. He wasn't without a brain. Knowing that if he had all the time to decide and if he wasn't a human anymore because he wasn't feeling hungry or thirsty. He could quite literally take all the time in the world.

So as he combed through each customisation option everyone around him slowly started to disappear. One by one they vanished from the white world. Leaving no trace that they were even there. All until he was the last one left. The only glowing white person in a white world full of hundreds of angels.

???: Hello little one. You must have had a tough life without one of us by your side.

As the boy looked up he saw a beautiful woman. Her wavy blond hair fell to her waist. Her curvy figure was shown more by her white silk dress. Her eyes were perfectly blue like a perfectly clean sea and her smile was pearly white like the boy imagined the gates of heaven would look like. Her skin was light and without a single blemish.

???: What do you mean without one of us?

The boy looked down at his hands and touched his mouth. He realised that the woman didn't speak into his mind but he could hear her with his ears. He could feel with his hands and he spoke with his mouth. He was surprised by the woman's appearance and if he had actual skin he would be blushing but he was more surprised at how everything suddenly changed.

???: It's okay sweetie. This is a controlled space. I was just saying how life must have been hard without a Guardian Angel. Do you want to talk about it?

The boy was even more surprised. This was the first time someone had wanted to talk to him ever since his life had went downhill. She wanted to know him.

???: C-Could I?

???: I'm all ears sweetie. Take as long as you need to.

The woman said softly. Her voice was the gentle one in his head. The one that had told him about the situation. And now she wanted to know him. A small tear would have fallen from his eye if it could.

So he did. He told her about himself. A young boy who suddenly lost everything and everyone. Left with nothing and no one. And leaving the world he once lived in. With nothing… and no one.
