In the early morning, birds chirped outside.
Charlotte had finished her morning routine and tiptoed downstairs. She wanted to go to the kitchen for a drink but unexpectedly ran into Peggy's younger brother in the dining room.

"Good morning, Mr. Brandy," Charlotte greeted nervously, stumbling over her words as she explained her reason for being there. "I'm a bit thirsty... I didn't expect to find you here."
Brandy held a coffee cup, smiling gently and gesturing that he didn't mind.
"Miss Charlotte, you can ring the bell, and the servants will bring tea directly. There's no need to make a special trip," he said, leaning against the table, legs crossed, in a relaxed posture. Charlotte glanced at him briefly, then quickly lowered her gaze, murmuring her thanks.
Brandy summoned the butler, exchanged a few words with him, and then asked Charlotte, "What would you like to drink?"
