As the primary habitat of the light elves, Velen was vast and scenic. Margaret followed Harrison along the way, passing through beautiful maple forests, rugged rocky mountains, and witnessing magnificent canyon waterfalls. The androgynous light elves had the same pristine beauty and behaved with an air of grace and purity. Their tone of speech was poetic, and their footsteps were as light as falling leaves.
The elf compendiums from future eras didn't have many inaccuracies. At least in terms of appearance, the light elves perfectly matched Margaret's impressions: tall, graceful, with golden hair and fair skin.
Returning to Velen, Harrison couldn't ignore the stark contrast. He felt like a drop of ink falling into a clear and bright lake. However, Harrison himself didn't show much discomfort. He remained as calm and natural as ever, even with the stench of monster corpses on his shoulders and his worn-out, dim clothing.
