Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 The Exchange Rate Of Pain

Blood dripped right onto the coconut shell where the charcoal was burning.

The shaman did not stop taking care of the charcoal fire. Likewise applies to all shamans. Remainder of the many shaman, the look seemed to be fighting to attract life energy. Charcoal fire draws life energy every time it is tended to, but the struggle to keep the coals burning did not diminish in the slightest.

In other words, other shamans who did not experience nosebleeds had more of a pull of life energy upon them.

Difficulty levels are divided equally. To survive depends on each individual's endurance. The success of the treatment also depends on the level of strength of the assistant healer.

The resolve of the shaman healers did not waver. Instead, they focus more. Meantime, sweat-soaked the body until it was bathed in salty liquid.

Acier sprinkled free-range chicken blood on the embers of a small fire. Blood is liquid, it's the same as pouring water on a charcoal fire so it will immediately go out.

The shamans are getting more and more stress. Acier quickly smeared the blood on his tongue onto Jarvas' forehead and one last one on his forehead. The shaman put Hands together muttering random words.

Acier's eyes closed.

The another of shaman, stared in amazement until he didn't blink when he saw almost dried blood stains returning to the place where the wound had come out. In the beginning, the dried blood cells melt and like a record playing backward, blood enters.

A flesh merges, reproduces, and divides until a Wound closes again. The live performance is very satisfying and worth seeing.

Many wounds have healed.

This did not only happen to Ahio and Jarvas. Outside the car, the wounds and blood caused by the ultrasonic sound damaged organ tissue until it which caused blood to come out of people's ears to recover. Lian's also getting better.

Not only victims of ghost battles, healing shamans are also affected by good changes.

The blood from one of the shamans whose nosebleeds, was returned to its original place. The other shaman's life energy is replenished.

Acier opened his eyes. Now, it was his turn to have a nosebleed. When another shaman wanted to help treat Acier, the shaman under the guise of intelligence refused.

Acier raised one hand. "Do not bother me."

"But little brother, you are bleeding."

"If I recover, your life energy will be sucked away. Do you want to dry out and grow old until you become a skull?" Acier makes serious efforts to refuse any kind of help.

Acier suddenly got up. Shaking here and there, almost falling, fortunate one of the shamans helped hold that person's arm.

"Thank you," he said softly. "Remember, whatever happens, don't heal me. The exchange value is the life of one of you!" Acier spoke firmly but his voice was very, very low.

The person, who can also be called Darius, was led down from the medical officer's car. After about three steps Acier fell. Luckily the shaman was swiftly detained by another of shaman so he didn't fall to the ground.

"Acier!"

Lian rushed to hug Acier. "Damn, you can't die yet. I haven't gotten my revenge yet, you idiot!"

Assisted by another medical practitioner, Acier was transported to a luxury car. "Let's go to my house. This is an order. I, Zebua Lian, ordered all of the people to go to my house now!"

The shamans looked at each other until finally a clever shaman said something. "Let's go."

"Yes, Lord Fathur."

Everyone took the car to Zebua's residence. Lian was in the same car as Acier, the man was placed on her thigh.

"You crazy psychopath." Lian babbled. While Acier was unconscious, she slapped the man's head until his fingers traced red on a shaman's skin.

Once satisfied, the girl snorted, turning her head outside and accidentally meeting one of the shamans. "What are you looking at? I don't care if he's sick or not, and you, too, can't dictate to me."

Glek. A shaman swallowed hard. Slowly and calmly he turned his head in another direction as best as possible to avoid trouble.

Many cars entered the Zebua family residence. Not wasting any time, Acier was taken to the room as were Jarvas and Ahio.

Each of the three people gets a separate room and complete facilities.

"Unghhh."

Ahio's eyes blinked to adjust to the light stimulus. Only half conscious, the first thing Ahio thought of was Acier.

"Acier!"

The angel of death hurriedly got up and opened the bedroom door, coincidentally the room was not locked. Armed with random instincts, Ahio ran headed towards a green-painted room. In front of the bedroom door hangs a bundle of talismans.

Ahio immediately opened the door to the room and rushed in. She didn't think wrongly, it was Acier's ward!

Acier was placed there.

Ahio, like a madman, immediately approached Acier and held his hand tightly. The girl didn't care about the conditions around cause' was too focused on Acier.

"I didn't expect you to know this place right away."

Lian cleared his throat sitting beside Acier. Lian's position was next to the bed, busy arranging food in the mini refrigerator.

Ahio turned to look at Lian, blinking.

Jep. Jep. Jep. The sound of eyes blinking slowly.

"I followed instinct. Why are you here?" Ahio looked at the refrigerator so intensely that Lian felt uncomfortable. She clicked a Tongue. "There's no need to look at me like that. I didn't poison Acier. I indeed want him to die horribly, but before that he has to be tortured slowly."

Ahio didn't respond in any way. She looked to the side of the window only to find kuntilanak and tree ghosts monitoring the surroundings.

"He's being guarded," said Ahio.

"The two ghosts haven't come home since yesterday." Lian brushed her hair.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

There was a knock on the door and Lian immediately responded. "Come in."

A maid bowed respectfully. "Young master Jarvas is awake, Miss."

"Okay, I'll come." Lian stared intensely at Ahio.
