Chapter 30 - Chapter 30 Living Corpse

"Hah..."

Ahio's head throbbed sick, he had been in pain that bad before but never passed out.

"Acier," Ahio whined, squeezing a shaman's clothes tightly.

The cold-looking Acier put Ahio on the side bed so she could rest. "Her body temperature suddenly rose. It rose significantly."

Those were the last words Ahio heard before darkness took over.

The next day Ahio woke up to be greeted by various types of delicious food. Ahio's body immediately reacted to seeing a lot of food and couldn't wait to rush into the feast to satisfy Hunger.

Anyone who saw Ahio's attitude would find it impossible to believe that she had not long ago been sick.

"Sometimes I'm confused about whether you're really sick or not."

Ahio turned, only to find Acier drinking a cup of coffee and enjoying the view in front of the window. Newspapers on the coffee table are typical for a mature man hard worker.

In other situations, Ahio doesn't waste time-consuming the available menu. She eaten.

"What is the situation after Lucifer left?"

"Little bad. One maid and two bodyguards died on the way here. Lian was screaming, so, the bodyguards checked the situation, and that's when two on position leading bodyguards died like a maid."

Ahio stopped eating, very disturbed by how calmly Acier conveyed the information about lives lost. He shouldn't be so indifferent!

Ahio nodded even though it was still a burden. "Jarvas, what about him?"

"He is nice."

"Ahio!"

Ahio choked on food, cause', someone rushed into the room, the person looked out of breath, his face was red and covered in sweat.

"Long life to you." Ahio took a cup filled with water to drink. "Have you finished lifting barbells?"

Jarvas sat near Ahio picking at a grilled chicken. "No, I practice using spears and swords."

Ahio blinked and continued eating. "Luckily there's a lot of food. If there wasn't much I would have hit your hand for taking my food." This is just the thought inner child an angel of death.

Acier got up carrying a coffee mug and newspaper. "Okay, since you're awake, now let's get to work."

Ahio took a chicken satay. "What other job? You've been fired." The woman then drank a glass of water. Meanwhile, Jarvas stared after finishing eating a grilled chicken. The youth was a big glutton.

Acier showed a newspaper containing news. "Now entering my schedule to feed soul sacrifices to Popu and Kunti. Living corpses are human bodies possessed by demons in disguise. Their condition is in the middle between life and death suitable for feeding my pet ghosts."

Acier looked at Jarvas. "Tell Fathur, for now, I will finish personal matters. You and Lian focus on training with him."

Acier got closer to Jarvas' face and the young man stepped back. "Take his ultimate moves or at least learn things that will allow you to survive. Lucifer likes playing with a prey attractive."

"Is the world going to end?" Ahio said innocently.

Acier stepped back creating a healthy distance between him and Jarvas turned to glare intimidatingly at Ahio.

"Maybe."

Acier pierced Ahio's shoulder suddenly with a needle. The angel of death was shocked. "Ow!"

Without Ahio knowing, a sucking needle took a sample of her blood.

Ahio quickly took a cup of water and poured it on Darius' face.

"Feel that, psycho shaman!"

Acier wiped a Drenched face while Jarvas covered MOUTH, to silence the sound of laughter.

"Hufftt."

Acier stared.

"Sorry." Jarvas giggled, grinning playfully, even smiling crookedly, typical of a bastard. He shifted his focus to the angel of death. "Make this situation a training ground for you, Ahio. Lucifer moves slowly, we have to take advantage of this situation while we have time."

Jarvas patted Ahio's head gently. After about two swipes, Ahio dodged.

"Sorry, I was awkward." Ahio looked down. Then immediately saw Acier.

"I'm not sleeping in the same room as you, am I?"

"No. Don't worry, for now I have priorities, my goal is to be worthy of facing Lucifer and helping the little people. Innocent people are also on my list."

"You're a state intelligence officer?" Jarvas questioned.

Acier cleared his throat and grabbed Jarvas' hand, without warning he pushed that clubmate out. "Is my young face suitable for intelligence officer?"

"Why not? You are suitable," Jarvas said and was immediately kicked out by Acier.

Shaman turned around. "Quickly finish your meal, we're leaving in five minutes."

Ahio was sure she didn't have time to shower and get ready like a woman, literally.

After hearing the sentence about the living corpse, Ahio immediately thought about cannibalistic zombies. The picture of the scene of being eaten by a living corpse was neat in Ahio's brain.

She was worried.

However, as usual, Acier is ready to provide many types of food. That way Ahio can eat well. If the stomach is full, the mind is calm.

"You've already been fired," said Ahio once while still in the car. They were on their way to the location where the living corpses were roaming around in one of the small villages.

"Everything I do contains a symbiotic aspect of mutualism. I will use the living corpse as food for my pet ghost."

"Ah, I feel sorry for a living corpse."

"He's different from zombies, most likely more vicious and aggressive. Most importantly, they're intelligent."

The hairs on Ahio's neck immediately tingled, especially with Acier's next words.

"The village we went to has already become a dead village. It's abandoned."

Glup. Ahio swallowed a glob of saliva. "I shouldn't beg this from a psychopathic shaman. But please don't sacrifice me as Fathur did. If it can still be handled, even if it takes a long time and is difficult, if you're not desperate, please don't make me bait ready to be sacrificed."

Acier chuckled, swerving the steering wheel to the left, the speed of the car was so fast that it felt like Ahio's life was being pulled out.

"Why suddenly...!"

Broommmmm....!!!

Acier suddenly drove a car forward.
