Chapter 21 - Next Level V

Without warning, Ronan darted forward swiftly using the boost mode on his advanced boots. With a movement so fast, even his shadow blurred where he stood before. In an instant, he was in front of Nia, the tanker of the group.

Nia was startled and quickly moved behind her large shield, trying to protect herself from the unexpected attack. However, Ronan disregarded Nia's protective efforts. With agility, he found a gap between her shield and without hesitation, attacked directly towards Nia.

The barbarian woman didn't have enough time to react or prepare herself. With his speed, Ronan caught the edge of her shield and used his strength to create an opening, allowing him to attack Nia directly. In the blink of an eye, Ronan's hand strike landed heavily on Nia's head, causing her to crash to the ground with staggering force.

Lisa and her companions watched the incident with deep confusion and concern. They realized they were in very real danger, and Ronan had no qualms about using violence to achieve his goals.

"Nia!" Lisa shouted with worry, witnessing her companion being rendered powerless by Ronan's brutal attack. Although Nia had the greatest strength in their party as a barbarian, Ronan, with his skill, managed to overcome the protection offered by Nia's shield.

Seeing the urgent situation, Monica quickly moved, her heart filled with panic and concern. With sharp focus, she directed a healing spell towards Nia, hoping to provide aid and restore her friend's strength.

Meanwhile, Ronan remained calm and expressionless, seemingly unaffected by the unfolding situation around him. He stared at Lisa and her companions coldly, appearing unmoved by their cries or despair.

"How dare you!" Nia yelled, running out of patience, as she conjured a low-level attack spell. With a quick hand movement, she created a dazzling fireball, ready to explode upon touching the ground. The resulting explosion resembled a grenade, capable of causing significant damage to their enemies.

However, Ronan, with his incredible speed, managed to evade the attack swiftly. Unexpectedly, he was already in front of Nia in the blink of an eye, catching her off guard and making her feel that the battle was already over for her.

The next moment, a gleaming silhouette of a sword suddenly appeared, creating a sense of danger within Ronan. With quick reflexes, he dodged Lisa's sword attack that came from an unexpected direction, causing him to startle at the speed and accuracy of Lisa's strike.

Ronan and Lisa faced each other, as their surprise began to fade. Lisa, astonished by something unexpected, felt her mind blur for a moment. However, when she saw her companion, Nia, lying powerless, she quickly gathered her courage again. She realized that Ronan was the enemy she had to face at that moment.

"I don't know where you come from and what your intentions are," Lisa said, her eyes quickly glancing towards the young Salamander still writhing helplessly. "But I suspect you're the reason why all the monsters in this misty forest have become strange."

Ronan remained silent, his eyes staring sharply at Lisa, but there was no expression to be read behind his gas mask. Tension filled the air between them, and a mighty battle seemed about to break out between two opposing forces.

In this tense atmosphere, the next moment Ronan moved quickly, catching Lisa off guard.

"Monica! Cast your Buff spell now!" he shouted, his body in a fighting stance ready to face anything.

Monica, as a priest in the party, quickly chanted her spell, enveloping Lisa's body in a dim green light. As soon as the light faded, without hesitation Lisa advanced, supported by Nia, who had prepared a large-scale attack.

In an instant, the battle atmosphere became even more intense. Lisa, with her glowing body, aimed her sword towards Ronan with unwavering courage and certainty. Meanwhile, Nia, with her great strength, was ready to unleash a devastating attack that would bring destruction to their enemies.

Takeru, situated in Grey Castil, monitored all the events that had occurred since Ronan began his actions of defeating the Salamander parent and chasing the escaped Salamander offspring, until he encountered the adventurers from Yark City. He witnessed all this through the vision of his superior, Ronan, who controlled a drone aircraft. In the fantasy world's eyes, this aircraft might be considered a bird, as technology at that time was not as advanced as it is now.

As the construction continued and the number of their groups increased, Takeru often used his time to fly his drone, exploring this fantasy world from the sky. He knew about the village in the southwest and the abundant iron resources nearby, but it was still within the misty forest area. Although these resources were valuable, many villagers dared not approach them due to the dangers in the misty forest.

Takeru sat at his desk, his eyes focused on the screen in front of him displaying the performance of the advanced technology he had created. Although successful, he realized that some technological abilities had certain limitations, such as the small monster perception enhancement tower that could no longer be created based solely on his wild imagination. After the enhancement experience from the God, his creative ability had clearer limits, and he had to be more detailed in his planning.

With a serious expression, Takeru nodded slowly. "Good, good," he muttered. "Although some abilities are limited, this shows positive development. The small monster perception enhancement tower can no longer be created based on wild imagination alone and must be designed more detailed. However, a larger production quantity is advantageous. Although I don't want to rely too much on these artifacts, I will use them wisely and as best as I can."

As the city construction continued, Takeru pondered for a moment, thinking about the next steps in their development project. "Is it time to move on to the next level?" he whispered to himself, his eyes focused on the screen in front of him displaying the city's development progress.

He continued to monitor the intense battle between the Famous Mercenary and the fantasy world adventurers. Ronan, with his remarkable victory, finally emerged as the winner, although slightly injured by the final attack from the magician woman that created a large explosion.

Taking a deep breath, Takeru realized the importance of continuing to observe and evaluate the situation in this fantasy world. Every event and battle provided valuable information that could assist in further planning and development.
