Chapter 15 - Early Stage IV

Takeru walked with heavy steps through the increasingly dense forest, his face filled with exhaustion. Every step he took was followed by the ominous shadows of terrifying monsters, a trademark of the fantasy world he was trapped in.

However, luck seemed to be on his side. The modern weapon he held still functioned well, giving him an advantage when facing these creatures. But something crept into his mind: why were only intelligent creatures seemingly able to control magic well? Were there no wild monsters with similar abilities?

The thought nagged at Takeru as he continued his journey through the forest towards the large river at the end of the trail. "If I find a monster capable of managing magic proficiently, as described in the stories of my world, perhaps there's something I can further investigate," he muttered to himself, his eyes constantly scanning his surroundings.

Takeru glanced at his navigation device and found the safe point marked. With caution, he began to move towards the distant light. However, simultaneously with his steps, his ears were greeted with a loud rumbling sound, akin to a military trainer giving strict instructions to his troops.

"DON'T STOP! IF YOU HAVEN'T REACHED TODAY'S TARGET, YOU WON'T GET DINNER! THAT'S AN ORDER! UNDERSTOOD?!"

Takeru was surprised to hear the familiar rough voice. It was Ken, who seemed to be leading military training for the inhabitants of this fantasy world. They were trying to adapt to the rigorous modern military training. And apparently, Ken, a trainer from South Korea, a country still in conflict with North Korea, was not messing around in training them.

As Takeru finally emerged from the thick foliage, he found Ken standing upright in front of Rakrak and Ruri, who were struggling to do push-ups. Although it was still early in the day, they had been training since early morning and it was now nearing noon. They were all wearing camouflage military uniforms dominated by green. Takeru could hear the tired sighs of the two siblings.

"Wait a minute, Ken-san..."

"I can't go on anymore..."

With a touched heart, Takeru witnessed this grueling training and felt moved by Rakrak and Ruri's determination. Despite not being from Takeru's world, their determination to learn and endure remained inspiring. Takeru decided to support them as much as he could.

As Takeru stepped towards the center of the field, Ken suddenly noticed his presence and quickly halted Rakrak and Ruri's training.

"Stop! Take a five-minute break and welcome our Lord!" he ordered firmly.

Rakrak and Ruri, with faces still slightly tired but full of spirit, quickly obeyed Ken's command. With synchronized movements, they raised their right hands to their foreheads, while their legs stood straight with a dignified posture.

"Respect, my Lord!" they exclaimed in unison, showing their dedication and discipline to Takeru.

Takeru, who was only a few meters away from them, was surprised to be greeted with such a sudden salute. As a future leader of a country, his demeanor should not be easily shaken, but this situation caught him off guard. Quickly, he tried to correct his posture, showing his dignity in front of them, while returning their salute respectfully.

"Um... Please rest," he said casually, tossing two bottles of cold water towards them.

Rakrak and Ruri gladly accepted the bottles of water, looking very grateful for Takeru's kind gesture. They sat down on the ground, enjoying the rest provided while thanking Takeru. Meanwhile, Ken approached Takeru with a simple respectful demeanor.

"Welcome back, my Lord," he said sincerely.

Takeru smiled at Ken's closeness, feeling the warmth of the welcome. "Um, it seems you're used to training," Takeru said with admiration as he observed Ken.

Ken nodded casually. "Ah, it's nothing. We're just doing what needs to be done to survive in this world," he replied humbly.

Takeru appreciated Ken's simplicity and humility. Despite the difficult situation, Ken remained steadfast and dedicated to his duties.

"Of course, I'll continue their training. Please, my Lord. We'll take care of everything here," Ken said understandingly.

Takeru nodded in respect, then turned to return to their tent. With steady steps, he left the training ground towards their living quarters.

Inside the quiet tent, Takeru sat at the table preparing his plans. Before he could begin to increase the population, the first step was to expand their living space.

"This will take quite some time, but we have to start from here," he muttered seriously while staring at the map spread out on the table.

Carefully, Takeru began to plan the steps to expand their living area. Every line and dot on the map became careful considerations for Takeru in devising strategies to build a larger and more suitable living space for their people.

One week passed.

The passage of time had brought significant changes to the forest known as the "Monster Mist Forest." Now, the forest had become a frightening place for anyone considering entering it, due to the presence of ferocious monsters roaming within, coupled with the thick mist that could disorient anyone who crossed it.

However, amidst the fear haunting the forest, there was a ray of hope emerging from the hard work of the newly arrived inhabitants. The place that used to be silent and deserted was now beginning to transform into a productive area with the reconstruction carried out by the newcomers.

Amidst the bustling activities, Ken's resolute voice echoed in the air, directing training for 200 new missile personnel who had joined, as well as Rakrak and Ruri, who remained faithfully training. They were all running on the field for 50 laps, with incredible determination and spirit.

"HEY! DO IT RIGHT! EVEN MY GRANDMA CAN RUN FASTER THAN YOU GUYS!!" Ken shouted with a voice that reverberated.

With enthusiasm, all the troops training responded in unison, "YES, SIR!!"

Meanwhile, Takeru was inside the mansion chosen as the seat of government. The grand building was the prototype of what would become Gray Castle, with distinct architecture from Western Europe.

Sitting at the large table in the main room of the mansion, Takeru pondered seriously. Around him, various important documents were scattered, many of them were command orders for several existing units. But Takeru wasn't alone; beside him, a young woman in neat military uniform was helping him with his work.

The woman was Takeru's personal assistant, Clasica Lauren. With five years of experience in governance, Clasica was invaluable to Takeru. Just like Ken, Clasica was also directly created by Takeru, complete with a pre-arranged back story.

"Sir, perhaps you could prioritize these documents first," Clasica said softly, pointing to a number of documents in front of Takeru.

Takeru nodded in appreciation for Clasica's assistance and advice. Together, they endeavored to manage all the governmental affairs related to the development of this country and the progress of its inhabitants. Everything was done with the same goal in mind: to create a bright future for this place.

"But wait, this place doesn't have a name yet," Takeru muttered suddenly, pausing his pen as the

 thought crossed his mind.

Clasica, who was sitting beside him, looked at Takeru with a puzzled expression as she noticed him falling into sudden contemplation.

"Sir, what's on your mind?" she asked gently, trying to find out the cause of Takeru's sudden reverie.

Takeru turned to Clasica, calling her by the nickname he had created. "Sica, what would be a suitable name for this place?"

Clasica, who was accustomed to the nickname, replied gently, "Um... Sir, I think it's not appropriate for me to name this place. It's fitting for you, sir, to give our country a name."

Takeru nodded in thought, appreciating Clasica's opinion. He took a deep breath, pondering seriously about the name to be given to this place. This decision was crucial, as it would affect the identity and future of their country.

After a moment of contemplation, Takeru finally lifted his head with firm conviction in his eyes. "Alright, let's call this place... Britancia."

Clasica smiled happily, feeling pleased with the name chosen by Takeru. "Britancia... It's a beautiful name, Sir. I'm sure it will be an extraordinary place."

Takeru also smiled satisfactorily, feeling confident that they had made the right choice. With this new name, they stepped forward in their journey to create a bright future for their country, Britancia.
