Sebastian believed her. The fire in her eyes proved it, but somehow he couldn't describe how the knowledge of that made him feel.
Something about hearing that from her caused a slight squeeze in his stomach. Never had he thought a day would come in his life when he'd ever feel weird about hearing someone say that to him.
"But I still owe you an apology." He said.
"No, you don't." She told him flatly.
If anyone owed anyone an apology, she owed one to herself. One, for living a lie for two years while clinging unto a man who was never going to love her.
Secondly, for choosing to do life alone these past four years, while being scared, pregnant and away from home and everyone she had ever loved — of course, with the exception of Adele, whom she was and would be eternally grateful for. She couldn't have imagined doing these past four years without her.
Adele had been her support and courage.
