The following day, Yun gathered some members of the clan and requested that they provide the pass to the forbidden land. Additionally, he asked them to guide Yier's child on the path to the forbidden land, as they needed to practice there. One of Yun's clan members went to the inn to gather all the disciples from the GMS sect and Wo Li Yi, and then proceeded towards Yun's Mansion and later to the forbidden land. Upon arriving at the inn, he noticed a young martial artist with impressive cultivation. Seeing them, he asked if they were from the GMS sect. Wo Li Yi, who was with them, confirmed their affiliation but inquired about his identity and the reason for his questioning. He replied that Yun's Clan head had sent him to bring the GMS sect members to the clan mansion. Upon hearing this, Wo Li Yi gathered all the disciples and accompanied him, although she remained somewhat cautious around him. They arrived with a few carriages, with Wo Li Yi and her own disciple, Quan Ning, sitting in one carriage while the others occupied the rest. They engaged in conversation and remained in a state of caution until they reached Yun's mansion.
Upon arriving at Yun's Mansion, the sect members stepped outside the carriage and were warmly welcomed by Yun's clan members, which surprised them. However, when Li Tian emerged from the mansion, their shocked expressions became even more evident. They were confused, as Li Tian could tell, so he invited them inside, turning his statement into an order. As they entered the mansion, Yun's head pointed out Wo Li Yi, saying she had grown into a beautiful woman and indicating that Li Tian had always been by her side when she arrived at the Li clan. Upon hearing this, Wo Li Yi was shocked. To clear up the confusion, Li Tian explained that he was her mother's brother, helping Wo Li Yi understand why he knew her and allowing the sect members to become acquainted with the clan members.
Upon being summoned by Yun's head, Li Tian and Wo Li Yi were asked to attend a meeting. Inside the clan hall, several elderly individuals were seated, including an old man around Li Tian's grandfather's age. Yun's head pointed to the old man and introduced him with Li Tian as Yier's child. This caught the attention of all the other elderly men in the room. Yun's head's father then inquired about Li Tian's family history. Li Tian proceeded to recount the events from the past until the present, including details about his grandfather and uncle. After some discussion, Yun's head's father informed Li Tian that in order to obtain approval for the forbidden land, his disciples would have to earn it by challenging city guards and martial artists of similar or slightly higher levels. If they could defeat at least six out of eleven opponents, the approval would be granted. This tradition had been in place for a long time as a means of testing the strength of those seeking entry into the forbidden land, which had seen many deaths in the past. Li Tian and Wo Li Yi then gathered the sect disciples outside and explained the challenge to them. In response, the sect disciples expressed their readiness for the challenge in unison.
