After retrieving items from the fire cats cave, they documented the findings as follows: 12 low-level beast cores, 13 high-level beast cores, and 20 mid-level beast cores. Additionally, they discovered a thousand kilograms of ingot ore from the cave. Among the treasures, they also stumbled upon the rare sun-rig flower, known for its scarcity in extreme heat environments. Furthermore, they uncovered several eggs that Li Tian and Wo Li Yi deemed suitable for fire system students to use as mounts. With their first successful beast hunt behind them, the disciples took a well-deserved break to recuperate and plan their next move in search of the next beast's whereabouts.
While conducting their scouting mission, a junior disciple reported the discovery of a cave nearby. However, the cave appeared peculiar as there was no indication of danger or presence of any wild creatures. Upon hearing this, the disciple immediately contemplated exploring the cave for any potential hazards. Consequently, Quan Ning, Wun Nier, and Tian brother assumed the responsibility of conducting the investigation. They sought assistance from senior disciples like Zu Sao and others to aid in their endeavor. As they neared the cave, Quan Ning noted that they hadn't seen any animals, but her gut feeling alerted her to possible danger despite the lack of evidence. Upon entering, they were greeted with an empty space, until a sudden tremor beneath their feet startled them. To their surprise, a group of Earth Armadillos had congregated in front of a larger, presumably the leader, Earth Armadillo.
Upon witnessing the scene, they swiftly retraced their steps and exited the cave. However, their commotion alerted the earth armadillos, who began to trail them. Realizing the imminent danger, they urgently signaled for assistance in the ensuing battle. Upon hearing the distress signal, each disciple assumed a fighting stance and rushed to aid the investigation team. Despite their efforts, most of their weapons proved ineffective against the armadillos, with only a few attacks proving useful. Quan Ning's ice element and Luc Li's water element inflicted significant damage, prompting them to take the offensive. Meanwhile, others focused on restraining the monsters to impede their progress. As the fight dragged on, a colossal earth armadillo emerged, tipping the scales in favor of the formidable creature. However, upon catching sight of the queen beast, Wo Li Yi and Li Tian joined the fray, bolstering their chances of victory.
Li Tian and Wo Li Yi engaged in a fierce battle with the queen, providing a much-needed sense of relief to their disciples. However, they quickly resumed their offensive attack once again. Li Tian and Wo Li Yi initiated their assault on the queen, unleashing a series of attacks. Although their strikes managed to cause some damage, it was not substantial enough to significantly impact the queen. Upon witnessing the Wo Li Yi, Li Tian was reminded of the first beast they battled together in their youth - a baby flying tiger. Following the encounter, their grandfathers intervened to help, with Li Tian's grandfather ultimately capturing the beast to be mounted. Upon hearing Wo Li Yi's words, Li Tian mentioned that his sister had taken a liking to the creature and requested that I hand over the baby to her before she departed for the sect, as she intended to ride it. The queen was attacked by their high-damage attacks as they communicated amongst themselves. After a few rounds, they managed to defeat the queen beast, and the disciples utilized their strategic skills to overcome the remaining foes. Li Tian instructed to bring the beast's body back to the sect in order to create quality weapons or shields. Tian's brother suggested exploring the enemy's base to gather additional materials.
