Chapter 26 - The casting competition

Following a month of practice, Ling Ji Tian and the ten chosen disciples embarked on their journey to the sixth-level country known as Yunshan. Upon arriving, they were greeted by the vast landscape and numerous masters casually strolling along the road. Eventually, they reached the location where the casting competition was set to take place, with several other sects and clans also in attendance to participate and observe.

A representative from the casting pavilion was present to ensure fairness in the competition and to obtain the basic level nine certificate, all ten members had to collaborate in crafting a low-grade weapon. As the competition commenced, the intensity grew, as another group arrived seeking a higher certification. Under the guidance of the elder, they initiated the casting process using the provided material.

After the conclusion of the competition for higher grades, the ninth level competition commenced. A few disciples from various sects and clans, including the GMS sect disciple, gathered and claimed their designated workbenches. As they began the casting process, an unexpected incident occurred. Mao Min's fire caught the attention of other spectators and elders from different sects, as it was unusual for such a low-level sect in that particular country. The emergence of the dark fire signaled a potential danger, which Ling Ji Tian immediately recognized.

Ling Ji Tian's suspicion grew as he witnessed several senior member of the other sect engaging in conversation. Noticing the hall elder's expression, other disciples of the sect gathered around Mao Min, shielding her and then continued to cast. Eventually, after some time, the low-level weapon was successfully refined through the casting process.

After acquiring the level nine badge for every disciple, Ling Ji Tian's disciple promptly departed for the sect. They swiftly exited the country within a few hours and arrived at the sect in just one day. However, a few others trailed behind them at a safe distance before eventually parting ways.
