The unexpected attack blindsided Ally by the forceful blow from behind her. Her face collided with the metal locker door; the impact was so severe that it left a dent in the metal. Ally's head hurts. She was stunned and disoriented as she found herself on the ground from the huge impact. The pain radiated from her forehead as she touched the injury, her fingers coming away with crimson blood, an indication of the violence she had just encountered.
The attack left Ally in a state of shock and confusion. As the club was once a haven of escape from all her worldly troubles, now it feels dangerous and hostile. Her vision blurred slightly as she tried to look up to identify the assailant, further aggravating her fear and mistrust.
Ally rubbed her eyes again to clear her vision and see the owner of the Midnight Club standing before her. She could not believe that Anne-Rose had decided to attack her now instead of giving her a chance to explain. She had planned to come here first to confess, but Anne-Rose was one step ahead of her and extremely impatient.
The moment Anne saw Ally prancing into the club as if it belonged to her, she became enraged. She immediately rounded up employees of the club to ambush her.
"Anne! You are here! What the-" Ally tried to respond, but a slap landed square on Ally's face as she attempted to reply, seriously hurting her. She rubbed her cheeks and glanced around to see a few people surrounding her. 'So Anne invited the whole club to assault her.' Ally thought. The air was tensed with anticipation of a confrontation that the staff in the club had been dreading yet eager to witness.
"Don't you dare cuss me! I am your boss!" Anne yelled and signaled the bouncer to assault her further. The bouncer moved forward in an attempt to fulfil Anne's orders.
"Anne, let me go!" Ally desperately pleaded for freedom with all her heart.
"Sorry, Ally, you needed to be taught a lesson." Ally realized the gravity of the situation and that it was too late for her to find an opening to runaway. She was cornered like a rat as she trembled on the ground.
Two beefy bouncers held her up, each of them holding Ally's arm, and she struggled by twisting her hands, trying to get free. She tried to kick the bouncers as she turned her pelvis from side to side, her legs trying to reach the bouncers, but they were so tough it was like kicking a brick wall and turning, but nothing worked as the bouncers were too big and beefy.
Blood spurted from Ally's The third bouncer punched Ally hard in the stomach continuously until blood vomited out of her mouth. Repeatedly, the same bouncer proceeded to attack her in the face. Almost instantly, Ally's beautiful face was immediately deformed. Her once-doe-like eyes were punched and swollen beyond recognition. Blood oozed out from every orifice of her face, and the color of her skin shockingly changed from blush pink to black and blue.
Ally drew back in pain as she tried to wince and curl herself into a ball like an armadillo, but it was in vain. She was held tight and upright. The sight of Ally's disfigurement caused everyone around her to cringe, and Anne, on the other hand, smirked maliciously as she managed to deliver her revenge right away.
"After that stunt you had pulled at me, you signaled people to have me pulled away and take my man away! You signaled my men to pull me away! You have quite a nerve! No way am I going to let you go without getting beaten." Ally could barely think straight and wondered if she really signaled anyone to pull her away.
"I didn't know he was your man." Ally stammered at her response, as she was about to continue to warn Anne about that dashing man being a cop. The conversation was immediately cut short by Anne for she refused to give Ally an opportunity to speak. Ally faltered as she failed miserably. The third bouncer continued to deliver more punches. She could hear her ribcage crack as she slowly lost her breath. Her eyes tempting to close each time the punches were delivered.
"I gave you a huge hint, girl, by splashing drinks on your face, but you had that night and shinning armor of yours protecting you!" Anne jeered with jealousy. Despite her mother's best intentions, she was appointed as the owner of the club, only for her to be embarrassed in front of her employees. She will not let this slide. Hatred and envy had blinded her.
"I did not ask him for it. He decided to shield me." Ally stuttered.
"Then you hugged and kissed him."
"He kissed me."
"You initiated it."
"I didn't!"
"You lying, b****! I will make you pay." Anne pushed the third bouncer away and tried to finish what they had started by kicking Ally right in the stomach with her high heels. Blood spewed from Ally's mouth while the bouncers were holding Ally's arm and straightening her upright, maintaining her position.
"How was it like getting caught at the precinct? Ratted anyone lately?" Anne continued to assault her while saying, "Did you tell them about any of our operations? You are good for nothing, whore!" Anne persisted.
Ally was entirely beaten; she had no energy to retaliate. She had been detained in the prison cell overnight, and now she had lost a lot of blood. She was about to give up. She could not keep up with this harsh life and her family, who betrayed her by selling her to Delavigne for money.
Anne halted the attack and stared at Ally, who was being brutally battered to death. She fainted. "You shouldn't have come back, Ally; you should have just left this place. Then your family will die, and we will still find you, because we Delavigne love a good game of cat and mouse. But I take it that you love your family so you came back. Made my work easier. Good! Let us have some fun before we eliminate her."
Anne signaled the bouncers and they covered Ally's face with a black gunny bag and walked out of the dressing room into a secret passageway that led them out of the club through the back door. The people who surrounded Ally were asked to leave and stationed back at the club for leaving it unguarded while they were assaulting the poor girl. The back door opened.
"Freeze!" Anne's eyes widened when she saw Bruce Payne standing with the cops as he signaled the officers to apprehend her and the bouncers.
"You are a cop?" Anne jeered and heckled. "Ally was in cahoots with you all along? That bitch—I don't know what has gotten into her to betray her family like that! But they won't let her live for long! You too, pretty boy, now that you are on our radar." Anne laughed hysterically. She was about to lose her mind.
Raymond signaled his men to take the perpetrators away, and he carried Ally into his arms, removing the black gunny bag that revealed an unrecognizable face. "I am sorry I took too long. I shouldn't have let you go." He gently hugged her. His face was filled with remorse for treating her indifferently during the interrogation. He sat in his four-wheeled car and requested the officer to drive to the hospital at once; he needed to find Hawke.
Raymond quickly called Hawke, and as Albert picked up at the other end, he couldn't contain his desperation and shakily said, "I need you at the ER now!"
