Chapter 7 - Secret and Promise

"What do you mean by Adriann getting married?" Allyssa's eyes went wide in shock as soon as she heard the news. How was that possible?

"I'm telling the truth, Allyssa. After you left, your father and the Levinsons decided to let your sister Amaia marry Adriann in your place." The person informed her over the phone in a serious tone.

"What the fuck! How could papa let that little bitch marry my Adriann?" Allyssa shouted as she stood up from her seat, looking completely agitated.

"You shouldn't have left the house like that." The person snickered over the phone.

"What was I supposed to do? I couldn't stop it, and there was no way I would have let them discover this. You know I had no choice." Allyssa almost stomped her feet on the ground while gripping the phone tightly. Her heartbeat rose with each passing second due to rage.

"Calm down, Allyssa. I know you had no choice." The mysterious person sighed.

"How can I calm down? My life is ruined because of that bitch. How could Adriann betray me and marry her?" Allyssa yelled, feeling betrayed by Adriann. She didn't think he would do something like that if she left; otherwise, she wouldn't have done this.

"It's because of the old man. He was the one who insisted on the marriage." The other line gritted out, referring to Jonathan.

"That old fox. I knew he never liked me; that's why he used this opportunity to get rid of me." Allyssa's eyes narrowed as her hatred for Jonathan grew.

He was one of the main reasons she had to leave like that; she knew she could never fool his eyes.

"What are you going to do now? Your mother tried her best to stop the wedding, but you know how stubborn your father is. He didn't listen to anyone." The mysterious person questioned her before letting out a helpless sigh.

"Adriann should have said no. How could he marry her instead of me? Did that little bitch think she could take my place just because I am away for a while?" Allyssa seethed with fury. She never imagined he would agree to marry Amaia among all the people. Her years of hard work went to waste.

"She's just like her mother." The person on the other side scoffed.

"Of course. Blood never lies. Her mother was a home-wrecking bitch, and she turned out just like her." Allyssa chuckled without humour, her eyes flashing with hatred directed at Amaia.

"Her mother seduced your father and dumped her on us; now she's trying to seduce your man." Are you seriously going to let this happen?" The mysterious person's words added fuel to Allyssa's hatred.

"Never. She will never have him as long as I'm alive." Allyssa's declared, her voice low and dangerous.

"I heard they are going to the Levinson mansion tomorrow to have lunch." Allyssa raised her eyes at the piece of information.

"Oh really? Then I must prepare some welcome gifts for her." Allyssa smiled evilly while moving around.

"What are you going to do now?" The person inquired.

"You'll find out." The people of Levinson House love me, and they will never accept her." Allyssa scoffed.

"Come back soon, Allyssa. I overheard your father talking to William about Amaia joining the business under Adriann's watch. We can't let that happen."

"What? That old thing has lost his mind again. He wants her to snatch my business too, as if snatching my fiancé wasn't enough." Allyssa yelled, feeling furious at her father.

"That's why you shouldn't have to leave like that." The other person sighed and then instantly regretted it.

"For fucks sake, did you really want everyone to know about it? I would have lost everything if I didn't leave in time." Allyssa snapped, feeling furious. Her one mistake cost her everything. She already regretted it and didn't need other people to remind her about it.

"I'm sorry. But you didn't tell me who it was." The other side quickly apologised. Allyssa pressed her lips together, ignoring her last sentence.

"Listen, I'm going to come back soon and take back what belongs to me. No one can snatch Adriann away from me, especially not that little Vixen." Allyssa informed the person, her voice laced with determination.

The mysterious person nodded. "That's good. Come back as soon as possible. We can't let things get out of our hands. What if Adriann falls for her?" She warned her carefully. Allyssa smirked upon hearing her words.

"Don't worry. That would never happen." She chuckled, sounding confident, surprising the person on the other side.

"How are you so sure about that?" The person asked sounding puzzled.

"Because I already made that impossible. He absolutely hates her guts." Allyssa laughed evilly.

"What did you do?" The other side questioned me curiously.

"That's a secret." Allyssa smiled mysteriously.

"Okay. I'm hanging up now. Someone's coming."

"Okay. Keep me updated and make sure that bitch Amaia stays away from my Adriann until I return." Allyssa reminded her, her voice serious, her eyes blazing with hatred and jealousy at the thought of Amaia getting closer to Adriann.

"Of course." The call finally ended.

"Ahh! Amaia, you bitch." As soon as the call ended, Allyssa screamed in anger. Her whole body was shaking with fury and envy.

"How dare she! How dare that fucking whore! She ruined my every plan. I'm going to kill her." She walked towards her room's desk before throwing everything on the table in anger.

"Did she really think I would let her have Adriann?" She gritted out, throwing the lampshade on the floor and breaking it into pieces. Her eyes fell on the huge mirror before she slowly walked in front of it.

"I didn't let her have him in the past, and I won't let her have him in the future either. Just wait till I come back. I swear this time I'm going to make her life a living hell." She swore murderously before hitting the mirror with the wine bottle next to it.
