"No." Adriann answered without lifting his eyes from his plate as he dove his fork into his salad.
"Why? I already arranged everything." Jonathan frowned as he looked at his grandson in confusion.
"I have work, Grandpa, and she has exams. Right, Amaia?" Adriann finally looked up as he met his grandfather's eyes. As for the last part, he glanced at Amaia with a smile, which almost caused her heart to burst. He looked extremely handsome with that smile. Why didn't he smile often? Her heart suddenly began to race as he stared at her, waiting for her to confirm his lie.
"Yeah. My midterms are starting next week." Amaia nodded before forcing her eyes to meet Jonathan's with a smile.
