"Amaia!" A girl shouted Amaia's name as soon as she stepped into the crowded hallway. It was Monday, and she was finally able to resume college. Amaia turned around to look at the source of the voice. Her turquoise eyes widened slightly as she stared at the three scowling faces. They looked totally pissed at her. Amaia swallowed hard before walking towards them.
"Hi Naina. Hi Dami. Hi Nathan" Amaia greeted her three best friends with a smile as soon as she reached them.
"For heaven's sake, where have you been?" Naina burst out while her soft brown eyes shot daggers at Amaia.
"Do you know how fucking worried we were for you?" Naina's tone was laced with frustration and disappointment. Amaia couldn't even get the chance to explain anything to them as she looked at them with a guilty expression.
